We tried this place for the first time. Did a pickup order. Really don't like to leave a bad review, especially for a local business. Food wasn't very flavorful. Pan fried noodles didn't have any noodles! I know they have a wide variety to choose from but we were craving Chinese. The BBQ ribs and egg rolls were good though. We've tried a few things on the menu now. Varying from the delicious Chinese food to authentic Mexican food. But the pasta, wow! It really hit the spot today. Not only does it look good but the taste is fresh and flavorful. We ordered the fried zucchini with ranch to start which was cooked perfectly. My husband had the chicken tequila and I had the fettuccine with chicken, broccoli and pink sauce. We've been two times in a row this week! How many stars do I give for sitting here watching a retired but still stunningly beautiful movie star eat lunch? Mr. Picky ordered the homemade shrimp and lobster ravioli. Mr. Picky has that name for a reason, but he loved his entree. I stole a bite off his plate and wished I'd ordered the same thing because it was fantastic! Unfortunately, I ordered the chicken Marsala and took the waiter's suggestion to order it with the fettuccine Alfredo. My side salad had homemade Balsamic vinaigrette which was pretty tasty. While his plate had been a total hit, mine was a bit of a miss. The fettuccine Alfredo didn't have a lot of flavor. In fact I think I might have preferred the garlic bread which had enough greasiness for a yum factor but seemed to be missing the garlic. Despite eating little of the food on my plate, they still charged me for it. Mr. Picky felt really bad that I wasn't enjoying my dish and so he saved me some and then pushed the plate in my direction. What a darling person. Service and food were a little slow when we went for this late lunch. For example, after waiting about 45 minutes we had only seen our glasses of water and side salads. When Mr. Picky started grumbling, I reminded him we weren't in a hurry and I didn't mind waiting if it meant we'd get some great food out of the kitchen. Well that was a Yes and a No as it turned out. Wanting to end on a great note, for dessert we ordered and shared the homemade Tiramisu. While I refuse to enter the argument on how Tiramisu should be made, let me just say that I liked their version. Nice combination of lightness with a rich flavor, and sufficient moistness on the bottom. That was a definite winner. So what's the final verdict? Is it a "3" or a "4"? I think it's a "3.5" but will go with a "4". We had a very nice waiter, which helps, but there would have been no question if they'd taken the Marsala charge off our bill as a sign of good customer service. read more

I honestly hate to write this as I work for the schools and I love to support local. I love Acton but Tonight I ordered magnolia and beef, which was Burnt! I mean it smelled burnt and you could see it! The orange chicken dissolved in my mouth, very mushy no flavor and also our fried rice smelled and tasted like cleaning supplies. Reading some of these reviews has me telling myself " why didn't I check yelp first ". I absolutely loved the girl at the front she was great but I won't be returning . I know things are hard right now but when you spend 70$ to feed a family of three I would hope to eat it. We didn't ! Maybe the owner as I'm sure he is a great guy will read this and take in consideration what we are saying, and fix the problem. I would love to be able to eat local to my job. Hands down the best in Town and we have plenty to choose from. Even though it's a small town . I kid you not I always buy an extra plate and we end up eating it for our next meal . You won't regret the purchase no matter what you order you will be surprised with Joy and mouthfuls of Flavor! Great little spot to get anything you want. Pretty good food quality and relatively quick turn time. Expect it to be expensive if you're trying to feed a family. I think it's a little over priced, but at the same time. Inflation is ridiculous so expect the prices on food to reflect that. But other than that definitely a great spot. I'm sure they are challenged and trying to keep up but our first time here was not favorable. First off we were greeted and told to sit anywhere. Then we were brought menus quickly after we sat down. So far so good. There was only one other table at the opposite end of the restaurant occupied by the same number of people at our table. As we were looking at the menu I kept noticing our waiter was answering the phone and writing and two different people walked in less than 5 minutes apart to place to-go orders. They stood around inside waiting for their order. Meanwhile we are ready to order. After 15 minutes finally a second waiter came over and said would you like something to drink. He left and then the first guy; who seated us and provided menus--also taking phone and walk up orders--comes over and asks what we would like to drink. We said the other guy took our drink order but we'd like two appetizers. OK, so now not too terrible after realizing their are at least two waiters, 2 people waiting for to-go orders and a second table at the other end is now occupied. Now the fun begins. After 12 minutes, now nearly a half hour since sitting down, we haven't received drinks. The 1st guy is on the phone, the second waiter is at the other table and out comes the chef. A couple minutes later the 2nd waiter brings one of the appetizers that's pretty saucy...and...you guessed it--no place settings, no plates, no napkins and no drinks. As soon as we mention we need forks, spoons, knives and napkins and drinks. The 1st waiter pops out from behind the counter with drinks. You get the point. It's Heckle and Jeckle the entire time--we get two plates; but there are 4 of us. We get the second appetizer, but still need place settings. More plates arrive, place settings and four thin small napkins. Yikes. At least we have our drinks, appetizers, a couple of napkins--good to go. The main course arrives and they don't seem to know what to do with all the plates. It's quite apparent no one has trained them on how to handle tables. Not sure why the two waiters didn't just split the tables in half to cover orders and cover drinks for each other no matter which side. The food was eh. It didn't taste bad; thankfully, but it was by far not anything to talk about. We could easily come back for a second try but why. There are many other choices in Palmdale and Lancaster for us so not coming back. And if we want good food and great service nearby then Crazy Otto's it is. read more

We ordered Chinese delivery. It was horrible. Not one thing was edible except the egg rolls which I'm sure were bought premade. The fried rice was so over cooked it was translucent. How do you mess up rice?? The shrimp egg fu young smelled like dog food and the sauce tasted like chemicals. The paper wrapped chicken was over cooked beyond recognition. The food is GREAT, almost rivaling what you would find in an authentic Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. A couple of my favorite dishes are orange peel beef and three sizzling soup. They have a tendency to be a bit slow in this restaurant, so if you are impatient and want instant gratification, look elsewhere. The only other annoying thing is that they don't beverages from a tap, so your bill can quickly become inflated if you drink more than one soda (served from the can). read more

We have ordered from here in the past, always with delivery and were very happy. 3.5-4 *s. However, our latest experience was not good at all. For starters, the woman answering the phone didn't understand English. She put a gentleman on the line who wasn't much better. (Needless to say, our order was wrong.) We waited over an hour and a half to receive our food... The kung pao scallops were not spicy in the least. The fried rices was bland and very greasy. We didn't receive the entire dinner, only the scallops and rice. The chicken picatta was tough and dry. The delivery driver is always very sweet and friendly. He was the only positive of this particular event. This was not what were are accustomed to getting from this establishment. I don't know if we will order from here again in the future. read more
