If I think of the top doctors who have helped me the most, Dr Greene is in the top two. His understanding of pain's relationship to a body is years ahead his peers. Aside from his professional acumen, he is a great person and Patriot. I live in another state but would drive 10 hours, without reservations or hesitation, for Dr Greene's medical care. Kudos Dr Greene! Very Respectfully, Chris H.

They do not pass out any medication indiscriminately. They do pill counts, drug testing and keep up with current research. The American Medical Association has recently come out in support of pain management at a time when this is a difficult area of medicine to practice. There are many medical conditions that do not respond to alternative pain treatments and sometimes opioid medication becomes necessary for optimal functioning. The current body of research now clearly shows, without any doubt, that pain medication prescription rates and overdose rates have no statistical relationship. None. Zero. Zip. Overdoses resulting in death are almost always a result of illicit opioids like heroin & illegal fentanyl, polysubstance use and occasionally diversion of prescription medication used by someone it was not prescribed to. This is typically a result of poverty, hopelessness, lack of employment opportunities, etc. If we hope to combat overdose rates in our state, we need to start fixing the problem rather than hurting patients in need. I am happy to cite the research for all my claims. I can be reached at rebecca0874@gmail.com It is important to note that over the counter Tylenol kills more people each year than opioids but it's still sold without a prescription. Alcohol & tobacco also kill significant numbers of people and our country largely ignores that. It is important that we support good doctors who are doing their best to help patients with a real medical needs. Comfort and Wellness Center does their job well in a difficult time. We need to protect the sanctity of the doctor patient relationship.

Apparently, the office staff person (only 1) is supposed to tell patients in advanced about the doctor, but she didn't, which meant that we didn't find out until we were shut into a small, unventilated office with him. She also doesn't respond to messages on their machine. I had a problem with my prescription, left multiple messages, and ended up having to go in in person to get it taken care of. She was extremely rude about it, actually yelling at me that I shouldn't be going in there and complaining, and offering no apology at all. I hadn't had pain meds in over 2 weeks because of her incompetence! Never going back there.

I visited with Dr. Patel for my initial consultation - which led to scheduling the follow on appointment to come in and get the actual Cortisone shot. I was a little apprehensive process-wise - never having had a Cortisone shot in the back area. Dr. Patel uses a "guided X-Ray" process to make sure the shots are applied in exactly the right spots. After getting my initial Cortisone shot - I have far less discomfort in my life. And Dr. Patel is super cool and nice! #DrPatel #NationalSpineAndPainCenters

First the online request was ignored until I called to ask for someone to address it. Her way of addressing my request was to totally dismiss it by stating that I had just refilled a different medication which would not in any way help me with severe back muscle spasms. That was it. No follow up. No concern about my situation. She did not bother to get in touch with me to discuss this even though it was a Friday and I would have to wait until Monday for any relief. Of course no practicing hours on the weekend.

I had the misfortune of being in a terrible accident quite a few years ago that led to me having to have an L5-S1 Spinal Fusion. The pain and suffering I experienced from this surgery (and the events leading up to- and after it), was nothing short of devastating. Flash forward- the one, and ONLY good thing to have come from my having to be a Pain Management patient, is Dr. Garland "Bobby" Greene at this practice. He is the most wonderful, kind, caring, and most of all (in my humble opinion), non-judgmental person/doctor I have ever met. He genuinely cares about his patients, and treats me with respect and understanding. His level of kindness is something that most of us should strive for. If we did, the world would be a better place. I am writing this review, because I felt it important to let anyone know, that if you are looking for a Pain Management specialist, you should come see Dr. Greene at the Comfort and Wellness Center. The staff overall is nothing short of wonderful (the current staff that is). Dr. Greene is a wonderful human being, and doesn't treat me, nor judge me, for my current (and probably life-long) condition. He listens when no one else will, he helps when he can, and most of all....HE CARES!! He cares about my well-being. He cares whether or not I am getting better. He cares that my pain is managed. He cares that I have a quality of life now. Most people want to get on Yelp and complain....I felt it necessary to do the opposite- to compliment. It was important to me that I let others know, who are looking for a Pain Management Doctor, that Dr. Greene is the absolute best! And one day, they will be so busy that they won't be able to take new patients; this will occur sooner than later (in my opinion). So again, who am I? I am no one. But I am someone who deserves to be treated like a human being, and not judged by ignorant people who don't have to live with pain. My pain lost me many things; my marriage, a step-son, family, jobs....But Dr. Greene helped give me my dignity back. But most importantly, Dr. Garland Greene gave me back my hope in humanity. I am shameful of having to be on pain management, but when I see Dr. Greene every month, if only for a short while, I feel like a normal person. And for this, I am extremely thankful!! So anyone looking for a FANTASTIC Doctor, AND Practice, make an appointment with Comfort and Wellness Centers. I promise you, you won't be sorry....God Bless

I was examined by Abu Sheriff, who completely missed the issue, dismissed it as an "infected skin tag," and sent me home with a prescription. My symptoms grew significantly worse. Two days later, the agonizing pain forced me to go to Patient First for emergency care. After a proper, thorough examination, the doctor there found that it was not a skin tag at all--it was a large, live tick that had been embedded in my neck for weeks. They removed it immediately.Because Abu Sheriff failed to perform a basic, careful examination, I carried a live tick for days longer than necessary. I have now officially tested positive and been diagnosed with Lyme disease as a direct result of this delayed removal and severe oversight.I have full medical documentation, photographs, and records from Patient First proving this negligence. This office is a major patient safety hazard. If you value your health, avoid this facility and this provider.
