I have been going there over a decade. And they are rude and mean, they like to threaten you, and…read morethe office manager thinks she's the queen of the place lol shes NOTT!! In june the RN mentions that there isn't much oxycodone in my drug test from the previous month and I told her I am on more dialysis now and that I had a fluid overload and I had to do like eight bags in four days the 2.5 and she knew this and she didnt believe me, than i get a phone call down the road. It's Linda The office manager threatening me as always. She threatenes everybody. She's on a power trip. I'm gonna love it when she gets put in her place, im making calls, its NOT just but she gonna call me and tell me that she wants to put me on probation and wants to do a pill count and they are not honest with me. They don't tell me why or nothing. She was very rude and ignorant and than just last week i went in for my normal monthly visit and nothing was said about anything , now today seven days later from my office visit I start getting phone calls 9:02 AM this morning. I was asleep. She called and left a voicemail threatening me. She called my mother who has a bad heart and recently diagnosed with heart failure, and made it sound like she is the doctor and she's gonna kick me out of the clinic and my mom was scared for hours until she got ahold of me because I'm stage five kidney failure I'm in bad shape and she did this to my mother and my mother went through hell for hours freaking out and worrying until she got a hold of me, i called them back when i got up after being very ill all night and it was 4:00 pm and she demanded that I walk there in a thunderstorm and be there within 30 minutes or she was gonna kick me out of the clinic , every other day, they're threatening to kick you out. Trust me I can prove that too.! I made sure I got all of this. I have it , so I pulled myself together as best I could, and I walked up there in the thunderstorm and rain recordinshe refused to let me go back with her to count my pills. I requested three times she and the third time she threatened me that if I didn't handover my pills and not go back with her that she was gonna kick me out of the program again !! like I said shes on a power trip. I'm gonna love when she gets put in her place it's Coming.!! Than i give her my 2 bottles of pills and she goes back WITHOUT ME IM NOT ALLOWED EVEN THOUGH I REQUESTED 3 times! Than after it counted my pills she was still very rude! She didn't even walk them out to me in the waiting room and give them to me like a woman. She had to act like a child and go in the office and sit down and set them on the counter and say here, not evwhen I picked them up, the lid on my oxycodone WAS NOT ON AND MY PILLS SPILLED ON THE FLOOR AND ROLLED ACROSS THE ROOM LINDA DID THIS BUT SHE WONT EVEN GET UP TO HELP OR EVEN SAY SORRY .. she did this but have no immune system stage five kidney failure, and my pills went rolling across the floor in that dirty dump. She never even apologized. She ignored me the rest of the time I was there, and LINDA and Melissa made me sign a paper without ME SEEING THEM doing the pill Count ..which I requested several times until the point I WAS THREATENED AGAIN, there were supposed to be 82 pills there was 87 now if I was a pill popper no b l would I have extra left? i don't think so, they did not sign the paper where it says patient came in with medication's listed above and the pill count was conducted by. It should say Linde and should Melissa and NOBODY signed it. That's right so this is gonna be an issue. I'm gonna make some calls tomorrow because I am more than angry, this is unreal. I've been going here 12 years. Do not go there, you will regret it. !!! They don't even get up to check your body and your pain. They don't get their butts out of the chair to even examine you ever! i can prove so much i have saved! even my pills falling on the floor believe you me I got it! and then after she came back with my meds she couldn't even look at me cause SHE KNEW SHE WAS WRONG! and she looks soo stupid!! I really used to like that woman and I had respect for her .. but there is none there now , She don't deserve any From me the way she treated my mom and i ! I'm sick of her threatening me,!!If you meet her you'll know, and it was MILLISSA that lied to my face when i asked whats even going on why r u doing this with my meds, an she said it's just a random pill count and I said thats a lie, joan told me about the drug test, i'm on dialysis! so they need to educate themselves about dialysis. LINDA told me they closed at 4:30 pm, LINDA.IS A LIAR!! I I found out They close at 5 pm, SHE LIED to A VERY SICK WEAK PERSON WHO SHE MADE RUSH THERE IN A THUNDERSTORM ON FOOT! she LIED ABOUT Closing time. and I have COPD and I had to keep stoping to catch my breath, very painfull in my chest, they got to me so bad that my BP IS 184/101!!!!! I will be making some calls..

I have been a patient at Clearway Pain Solutions in the Bel Air area for almost three years, and…read moreyesterday was the final straw for me. From the very first day I walked into that office, one of the front desk employees the Black woman (ugly hard face) at the front desk has consistently given me an attitude for reasons unknown to me. I would always greet and thank her, yet she would never respond. I tried to ignore it because I was there for medical care, not personal interaction, and I never caused any issues. There were many times I wanted to complain about her nasty attitude, but I chose not to. Over time, I also began noticing unprofessional behavior from Monica and other staff members. They would stand behind the desk near the waiting room laughing and talking loudly while patients, including myself, sat waiting to be seen. On one occasion, I was the only patient left in the waiting room and I was in pain, yet Monica still took an extremely long time to see me. There were multiple visits where I waited close to two hours total before being called back and being seen. At first, Monica seemed attentive and caring toward her patients, but lately that has changed. She appears friendly on the surface, but over time I began to feel judged rather than supported. I truly believe she assumes I am opioid dependent, while failing to understand that I have a legitimate medical condition that requires pain management. There were several occasions where she would remind me that the clinic does not specialize in pain management and that it focuses on spine care, as if she were doing me a favor. She refused to increase my 5 mg oxycodone to 10 mg, despite my ongoing pain and being a long time patient who never misused her medication. Ironically, when my insurance denied coverage for a pain relief patch and suggested medications such as fentanyl or morphine, I declined them myself and chose to remain on oxycodone because I did not want stronger medications. I have repeatedly expressed that I wish I did not have to rely on medication just to function normally. I also explained that pain management was recommended by hospital doctors because they are limited in what they can prescribe for my condition. I have even discussed with my hematologist how dismissed and doubted I sometimes feel during appointments with Monica. It often seems as though my condition is not taken seriously or fully understood. Now, regarding what happened yesterday: Last month, I attended my scheduled 1:30 p.m. appointment, and before leaving, I was scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. appointment for 5/19. I specifically remember this because I always confirmed my schedule times and I planned to speak with Monica again about how I felt regarding my treatment and concerns. When I arrived yesterday, I greeted the black (hard face) front desk employee, and once again, I was ignored. I was only nine minutes late, and they supposedly allow a ten-minute grace period. (Ironically, there was another time I was exactly ten minutes late and still got turned away.) After about five minutes, the front desk employee (ugly hard face) went to the back and returned with another staff member who informed me that I needed to reschedule. I explained that my appointment was supposed to be at 2:30 p.m., not 1:30 p.m. The staff member then confirmed that my original 2:30 appointment had apparently been changed to 1:30 without my knowledge. The front desk employee (hard face) repeatedly told me I would have to reschedule. I calmly asked if I could at least receive an apology since I had never been informed about the change. Instead, she insisted that I had been told in person during my last visit and even claimed she remembered my "exact words." The problem is, those were not my words, and I do not even speak the way she claimed I did. I refused to take accountability for something I know did not happen. I asked again for a simple apology, and both employees remained silent. At that point, I decided I had tolerated enough disrespect and unprofessionalism. As I walked away, hard face suddenly asked if I wanted to reschedule, but by then I was done. Honestly, I cannot believe I stayed with Clearway Pain Solutions as long as I did. I only remained because I did not want the hassle of starting over elsewhere as a patient, but enough is enough.

I am disabled, and need extra assistance with certain things. They went out of their way to help me and were kind and professional as well. The doctor was phenomenal. He took time to ask me about my experience at the previous pain management clinic I attended, and why I left. He asked what I was hoping to get out of my experience with him and his clinic. We discussed my medication's and he was able to tell me that I had received some in accurate information previously. we made adjustments to my medication's and he told me what his course of action would be if I don't see improvement. He was very open and explained things thoroughly. He was very kind and personable, but also incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I am very happy that I made the choice to switch clinics and I am confident I will see reduction in my pain levels and that he will work with me until that happens.

I have dealt with chronic pain for the past 17 years and I have seen many pain management doctors and he is, without hesitation, my favorite doctor. Not only does he listen to all of my concerns and address them accordingly, he always takes the time to ask me about all other aspects of my life - my marriage, my husband, my children. He's truly a good caring person all the way around!! The icing on the cake... ALL of his staff are always kind and understanding, even when you have a personal issue arise the day before your scheduled appointment and have to make your appointment time around. If I could give all of them more than five stars I would!!

I have been…read moresuffering from pain and herniated disc and fractured disc in my lumbar spine and my sciatic nerve. I began seeing Dr Abed several years ago at the request from a different doctor. I saw him and immediately he pinpointed the pain spots and he said this is what you have & these are the treatment options. He brought it up on his computer to show me how damaged my spine actually was and why I was and in so much pain. He offered me injections in my back to alleviate the pain. I got the injection for a few years and then it stopped working and I required surgery. He booked a Rhizotomy and burned my nerves. Very successful. He believes the same as me too treat with the least invasive approach first then if needed go to the Rhizotomy or facet joint injection or sciatica injection. The office staff is good. The office is always clean. I highly recommend Dr Abed to help you with your pain management especially back pain. He has been very helpful, informative, gentle, supportive, respectful and professional. He got me through a difficult time when my right leg was not working and was numb but painful and I had difficulty walking. He treated me and about 3 months later I was back to normal. I can't say enough about his practice but 10/10!! I am going to add that he does not give any prescriptions for pain medication.
