Dr. Geren does amazing work! I have been sick for eight years with Epstein- Barr and more chronically ill for the last three. I have seen Dr. Geren for just a little over a month and today I woke up today feeling the best I've felt in three years after our last session yesterday. Not only is he professional he knows how to heal people. I thought there was no hope for my illness and that is not the case. I've been getting acupuncture weekly, and massages and it has changed my life. read more

Great experience and results! I went to Danny with a painful elbow injury from kayaking. I had only had very bad experiences with acupuncture previously, but Danny was great. He talked me through what he was doing and worked around my limits and my sensitivity. After 5 sessions I'm climbing and kayaking again! Pain is gone. Also he's a ridiculously adorable human being. read more

In just a few sessions Dr. Geren has helped me discover and heal things that I thought would take a lifetime (or more) of work. We worked on both physical and spiritual/emotional issues and I've seen incredible progress in all areas. His skill, depth of knowledge and passion are immediately evident and so inspiring. Between his own energy and the physical office space it's a very calm, safe, beautiful experience. I wish everyone could have at least a session or two with him! read more

Danny does incredible long distance energy healing work. I had a sore back for two weeks, and after a long distance healing the pain was gone overnight. I'm so grateful for his mastery in this modality and highly recommend it. For any mysterious aches and pains that fail to heal, getting to the root and releasing for good through Danny's energy healing the way to go! I've also had several massages from Danika and her work is phenomenal. I so appreciate her seasoned intuitive touch and ability to optimize a blend of various therapeutic techniques. Some people may not know that you can also get a massage from Danika at Wellspring. She is absolutely incredible! Not only is she super strong and talented, but she take incredible pride in her work. What I mean by that is that when she finds a knot or problem spot, she is determined to resolve it, not just spend a minute or two and then move on. She has become my absolute go-to person for massages, because she is just so consistently great. read more

I can't recommend Danika highly enough! The Wellspring office is extremely tranquil and well organized, appointments have consistently run on time and parking is easy. Danika takes a great deal of care and attention in her massages and has the unique ability to identify areas of tension. Danika uses a variety of massage techniques including hot stones to relieve tightness and address problem areas. Danika is extremely knowledgeable and her pressure was exactly as requested - firm without being overly firm. Highly recommend Danika and the Wellspring team! read more

I have seen many acupuncturists and Danny's healings are the most impactful. Danny has a gift of seeing wholeness and he treats physical symptoms, emotional blockages, and energetic maladies. I highly recommend Danny in particular for people who are sensitive to energy and who want to discover and heal root causes. Danny meets me where I'm at when I come in for treatments and I feel truly heard in our sessions. Digestive issues that I had for years had significant change after just one treatment. Each appointment has major results and I continue to return to Danny to peel back the layers of my healing. read more

I have been seeing Whitney for the past 3 months primarily for cupping. Danny said she was the cupping queen & that she is! Highly trained, well educated, extremely knowledgeable as well as empathetic & caring; you are in good hands. The best part about seeing Whitney is her caring/helpful approach. She actually looks at your body & finds (additional) things that aren't working properly that other practitioners don't care to look for & you figured the pain was normal. I am looking forward to working with Whitney further to couple cupping & acupuncture for my trouble spots. read more

Danny is amazing! I have been seeing Danny at Wellspring Acupuncture for a few weeks now and I have loved every treatment. Danny is incredible. I suffer from severe shoulder pain and Danny's treatments were the first treatments that have relieved the pain for more than a few hours. I have utilized chiropractors, physical therapists, and other acupuncturists for this pain. Danny's treatments are BY FAR the most helpful. The pain is relieved each time I see him and has not reverted back to previous pain levels!!! Crossing my fingers it continues to get bett. I also have PTSD and the symptoms associated with it can feel unmanageable. Danny has provided emotional treatments to me and they have been extremely helpful. Danny not only provides outstanding treatments- his calming energy, genuine care for his patients, and confident touch take these treatments to another level. He creates an extremely positive experience for his patients. I usually would not accept any medical treatments from male's due to personal reasons/ preferences, but Danny is definitely someone I feel I can trust 100%. I heal a little bit every time I leave his office- not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well. He provides remarkable treatments, a very safe environment, and a place to heal. read more

Dr. Geren is an extraordinary healer. He has been helping me through my healing journey with Hashimoto's and Addison's disease, and the transformation has been remarkable. After just 3 treatments my chief complaint (uncontrollable chronic autoimmune hives) had improved 95% and my dependence on benadryl to function dropped from 6-8/day to one every two days! Not only is a huge relief to not be suffering from symptoms, but my energy and mental clarity have drastically improved, and my spirits lifted. Are these results typical? No, but Dr. Geren is not your typical doctor. He has a deep understanding of the medicine, strong intuition, and a genuine gift for healing the whole human. I'm so grateful to be in his care! read more

Danika is a wonderful massage therapist. I've had chronic back & muscle pain due to a car accident for several years. She is great with deep tissue massage, I always feel much more relaxed after my sessions. read more

Danny is incredible and I feel like I found the most sacred, intuitive healer. His knowledge, compassion, ability, and results are unlike any I've ever experienced. I have gone to other acupuncturists in San Francisco however never had the results that I have with Danny. He was referred through the Academy of Intuitive Medicine, renowned for his deep healing work that very much complements teachings and self work. He also taught several classes- he's that much of a master! The office is intentional- very soothing the second you step foot. Every session includes a brief download of happenings, feelings associated, physical discomfort, etc. since the last visit. He always makes me feel comfortable, no judgement, meeting me exactly where I am! He will get a sense of anything that may need work (correlating the class and Chinese medicine), and chooses the right treatment my body and spirit. Love emanates from his spirit and auras- one can't help but be in his presence and feel special. Note it is not necessary to be a student- everyone will reap rewards from his kind healing. I'm really glad he takes my insurance (Blue Shield), which allows me to see him every week with small copay. Woohoo! If you're new to acupuncture, know you won't feel the needles, and you can feel safe in his care. He has the most respect and kindness for you. You may not know what the healing includes every session (ask and he will lovingly explain), but you'll leave in pure bliss. To me, this is one appointment I hold and make time for regularly, as I feel it's important to make my health a priority. Going to Danny allows me to evolve with grace and self compassion. We all deserve that, right?! read more

I've been seeing Danny primarily for my sciatica for a few months now. He came recommended by my boyfriend that had already been a patient of his for some time. Seeing the positive results first hand made me want to give Danny a try. I was reluctant at first just because I have never done acupuncture and I'm not fond of needles, but Danny's compassion and great listening skills helped me through it all. He's knowledgeable, thorough, gentle and has effective methods that make me look forward to our sessions. He's is a true healer and a gifted individual. I highly recommend him to anyone. If you're thinking about trying acupuncture for the first time or you're looking for a fantastic acupuncturist, Danny is your man. read more

Wellspring Acupuncture - Love meditating after my treatment with Danny #acupuncture - Acupuncture Near Me - Corte Madera, California

I have been struggling with a shoulder issue for quite some time with no relief. I had tried various avenues with no success. My amazing chiropractor suggested Danny but I was hesitant because I had tried acupuncture before with no success. With other acupuncturists, I had seen no changes in my pain and the needle placement was rough and made me woozy. However, I trust my chiropractor immensely, since she cured my back pain, so I decided to give Danny a try. Danny completely changed my mind on acupuncture. He was patient, kind, really listened to me, and I saw a genuine eagerness in him wanting to help me. He remember everything I told him from session to session, explained everything he was going to do and really worked with my fear of needles. He made me feel comfortable, relaxed and hopeful. I instantly felt relief even after the very first session. My shoulder is getting better and better by the day and I have only had the pleasure of working with him for a short amount of time. I am an acupuncture convert and I cannot recommend Danny enough! read more

I have worked with a number of acupuncturists throughout the last ten years and working with Danny has been by far been the most transformative experience for both my physical and psychological health. I've been curious about exploring alternative avenues towards building health and resiliency for some time, but working with Danny has shifted me towards a depth of healing that I didn't know was possible. He is highly attuned and holds your whole system very gently and skillfully. I've recommended him to my whole community; I'm gifting my best friend a session for her birthday. read more

I first saw Danny Geren spring 2019 for acupuncture at the advice of a friend. I'm not sure what I was expecting at the time but my health had fallen apart -- I felt bloated and stiff and not in my usual light, bright mood for the past 6 months. It was definitely a huge energy block that I couldn't even see myself, though I'm semi skilled in energy healing and meditation. The session from him blew my mind. Not only could I feel my body releasing the huge blockage on the acupuncture table but I could feel my energy or chi swoosh into me, flow more freely through me. It felt super vivid. It was beyond any other kind of acupuncture session I had before. And that's exactly why Danny is amazing, he lives and breathes healing and has truly intuitively harnessed the "energy medicine" that's been in Chinese medicine all along but I find disjointed or missing in a lot of acupuncture practices I've seen. After my first session, I felt such a lightness of being, my body healed in numerous tiny ways, i was no longer puffy and bloated looking, and my skin ,which was parched and cranky when I saw him, became downright luminous and looked young again after a few days Now my boyfriend sees him regularly and my brother and dad have flown in from out of town to see him. I will say, Danny is awesome but he, like any healer, can only heal that which one knowingly is aware of and knowingly wants to be healed. And the more willing and open to being healed one is, the greater the effects. You have to bring the emotions associated with the pain or illness to the table and be ready to release it. And if you do that, he can do wonders. read more

This was my first experience with acupuncture and I'm hooked. I tried it because I got hit by a car while cycling and had been told by many friends, to try acupuncture. Danny is very knowledgable but he's also such a kind genuine person. He's helped my recovery drastically and alleviated a great deal of pain. He's really helped me heal in more ways than one and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to try acupuncture. Injury aside, if you're an adventure junkie/endurance athlete I swear by acupuncture and would recommend Danny to everyone I know. I'm very thankful for his practice and the healing it has provided me. Thank you Danny! read more

I'm incredibly grateful for the sessions I have had with Dr. Danny Geren. I went to him with symptoms that were impacting me emotionally and psychologically. He treated me with both energy medicine and acupuncture. The truth is, there are very few places I could have gone with what I was experiencing. Dr. Geren saw me, heard me, believed me, and most importantly successfully treated me. He was incredibly compassionate and kind AND effective. I highly recommend him. read more

As a retired professional mountainbiker, over the years, one can imagine that the body is tested to its limits. Years of training, racing, and crashing take its toll. Less than a year ago, I underwent an L4-5 spinal fusion as a result of degenration. Likely from crashing on the bike. I was lucky enough to have a fantastic surgeon and excellent outcome. 90-95% relief. When the spine is fused, our bodies have to adjust. I developed a few minor issues after as my body had to compensate. I essentially had minor muscle and nerve issues in the left leg. Little "buzz" here and there along with muscle atrophy around the left hip and knee. Yoga and strengthening were working some but needed a little more. I was introduced into Danny from my wife. After our FIRST session, my leg was 80% better. After the 2nd session, 100%. Danny and his team do fantastic work. I now have sessions oncea week and the body is getting better and better. The energy work is outstanding. Oh, Oliver the dog is cool too! -C read more

Do yourself a favor if you live in the Bay Area - give Danny a call. You will be immediately drawn to his perfectly balanced demeanor and feel a sense of calm and contention as you enjoy a great person and professional. I have been seeing Danny for overall wellness, focusing mainly on strengthening my immune system and increasing my Qi. Occasionally I will have a sports related injury and he fixes it like some kind of magician. Something that sets Danny apart from the other acupuncturists that I've had treatments from is his true level of compassion and understanding of not only what your current wellness needs are, but his ability and willingness to educate you on how to live a really good and happy life. Regardless of what your situation is, or what your treatment needs may be, Wellspring Acupuncture is very special, and just one experience will turn you into a regular. read more

I have been on a long course of antibiotics since mid-2014 when I had a sudden onset of rosacea, including ocular symptoms as I have also suffered from dry eyes for more than 5 years. I knew that the antibiotics were only suppressing my symptoms, and that both my digestion and immune system were suffering, but was continuously advised against discontinuing the antibiotics to avoid any flares by my dermatologist. I got interested in Chinese medicine after hearing from many colleagues who have used Acupuncture and herbal medicine and found relief in various chronic problems. Having gone through a a few TCM practitioners, I can unreservedly say that there are two things set Danny apart: 1) his deep investigation into understanding a patient's constitution, lifestyle and situation and 2) his ability to explain the the complex principles of TCM and holistic healing as related very specifically to that patient's condition - which is valuable guidance both for recovery and prevention in the future. I am getting better, thanks to him, and am thankful for having come across his practice - he is highly recommended! read more

I found Wellspring Acupuncture through a Groupon deal, first off I was very impressed that I was treated as a full paying patient rather than a person who came because I received a discount. My purpose for coming in for acupuncture was nagging lower back pain. Danny seems to be a very experienced acupuncturist, he explained what he was doing and what the process was. I found the whole experience very relaxing and would leave the sessions with a feeling of calmness. And even better, my back feels great. I will, and have, recommend his services to others. read more

Danny is the real deal. He has the rare gift of zeroing in on the intersection of the physical and spiritual in order to address the roots of disease where true healing can take place. His intellect extends beyond Eastern Medicine into a thorough understanding of biomedicine and Western practices, as well as intuitive methods. I've been struggling with a complex chronic illness for 6 years. In just one session, Danny was able to reduce my symptoms dramatically. read more

Well, now that I see how great all the reviews are I'm not sure what I can say that is different or helpful... I've been to a lot of acupuncturists over my 68 years and Danny is right at the top. He's knowledgeable on a deep level, caring, professional yet warm, and very skilled. He really lets you know that you are not just another patient, but that he is working to improve YOUR situation. He really listens and takes seriously any info you provide him. He's greatly helped with my achilles tendon pain, and I will return to see him many many times for any and all future issues. read more

I have been to previous acupuncturists with mixed results, and even thought "maybe this isn't for me." Then I received care at Wellspring Acupuncture and my whole experience changed. I saw Dr. Danny Geren and had significant results. I sleep better, have more energy and felt a real impact in my stress levels that I didn't think was possible. Oh, and he helped identify some lifestyle changes I can make to improve my overall health. I also love that this practice has acupuncture specialist under one roof so I know if my needs change, there will be someone to support me. I can't wait for my next treatment because I know this will be something I maintain for my overall health. I get it now thanks to Wellspring. read more

Wellspring Acupuncture saved me! I have had a bad back for years and when I re-tweaked it recently was told it could very well be a slipped disk. My wife had tried acupuncture before and recommended I consider it. She helped me find Wellspring Acupuncture and I thought I would give it a go. I couldn't drive at the time because of the pain (I couldn't really sit or bend at all) and Danny was able to come visit me at our house for two sessions. I was honest and told him this was the first time I was trying acupuncture and asked if it would work even though I didn't necessarily believe in it.... Danny was kind and confirmed that acupuncture works with or with out belief. Sure enough, in 2 minutes I could bend over at the waste and by the time he left the first time I could touch my toes with out pain. Folks, if you don't have back problems you may not get it but this was like a spiritual experience here. From not being able to sit with out holding my breath to touching my toes?! I admit, I welled up a bit. I blamed it on allergies mind you but I nearly broke down and sobbed on the poor mans shoulder with relief. This was the fastest recovery I had ever experienced in 10+ years of struggle. What normally would take 4-6 weeks to just two and I was at least 80% on the way to recovery within the first hour. I have sense gone back to Danny for several other sessions related to other health issues and continue to be very pleased with the results I get from the visits. In addition, Danny has been forthright regarding his areas of expertise giving me confidence that if I or someone I knew needed treatment for something he may not be able to deliver the best results for, he would refer me with out hesitation. All around, coming from a "non-believer" my experience with Wellspring has been fantastic and I highly recommend a visit for whatever ails you. read more

Without reservation I recommend Danny. It seems he is able to improve anything with his needles and TLC. I'd call him an alchemist who mixes authentic caring with tremendous knowledge and technique in applying those magical needles. We started with treating my back, then neuromas in my feet, and I was amazed to find he could also treat insomnia and stress. The care from Danny is unlike any I've experienced from other medical professionals, traditional or alternative. I am not treated like I'm on an assembly line or taking up time on the calendar; the level of true open-hearted care is wonderful and evident. I am a veteran and so want to shout out to veterans that VA medical insurance/Choice is taken here. And for those who want to support veterans, you indirectly do so by giving Danny your business. Lastly, if you have a neuroma in your foot do acupuncture! I had surgery to remove the nerve, which resulted in a "lump neuroma" (30% of the time this happens) and scar tissue making the foot very sensitive. Then the other foot's neuroma awoke and I tried a series of injections of alcohol, I think 8 painful injections, to no avail. The acupuncture treatment on the other hand was immediately effective. read more

This is an overdue review for the amazing Danny. I've known Danny for ten years now, and he is one of the most caring, empathetic, and hard-working people I know. Danny is the first person I call when I hurt myself doing stupid things (as I do). His understanding of human anatomy and his attention to detail are really incredible. Most importantly, acupuncture with Danny 2-3 times the week after a serious sprain has dramatically improved my recovery time. Every time I see him, I wake up the next morning amazed by how much less swelling and pain there is. Thanks D. read more

Due to my symptoms (e.g. insomnia), Danny immediately routed me to Whitney who quickly identified my needs and provided targeted treatment. Oh, it was my first experience with acupuncture and I'd highly recommend it for anyone considering it! read more
