Oh my gosh, I was referred to Chris Veiga a few months ago and FINALLY had the chance to book a session with him last week. I was ABSOLUTELY blown away by my session, and I feel like I walked out of his office so much more informed about my body than went I had arrived. Not only was my acupuncture session handled very well, but Chris also did a wonderful job explaining to me about my body and selecting the appropriate herbs for me. He was also kind enough to translate the list of herbs that he had arranged for me into English so that I could be informed about what I was putting into my body, and he emailed me a very helpful dietary list for my body's constitution. What I also found really helpful was that he loaned me an herbal pot to prepare my herbs, thoroughly went over the directions on how to prepare them (it was all typed out & very easy to do), and even had a convenient way for me to return the pot once I was done using it. After one session, it is very clear to me that Chris knows his craft. And he is a real pleasure to talk to as well. My only wish is that I could pick his brain some more about acupuncture in general, as I love anything related to healing the body! Hands down, I recommend Chris Veiga for acupuncture & herbal services. I was really satisfied with my visit, and I certainly plan to return to him for my acupuncture & herbal needs. read more

I originally started seeing Chris in my pregnancy years when I had heard about how effective acupuncture treatments can be. He worked with me to ease my back issues and balance my system and the results were terrific. Then, in my fifth month with my third child, I was stricken with the most painful sciatica I had ever felt. After traveling back from vacation and trying numerous chiropractic treatments to relieve the pain, I came to Chris. In TWO treatments, my pain was GONE. He is an amazing master with the needles, patient, thoughtful and compassionate. He always takes the time to check in with you before tending to you with the precise and caring hands of a true, holistic expert. His expertise extends into herbal remedies, nutrition, and basic daily habits that could benefit my system in entirety: physically and emotionally. I highly recommend Chris and his healing expertise at Luminate Mill Valley- he is as good as it gets! read more

Chris Veiga - Acupuncture Near Me - Mill Valley, California

When I first reached out to Chris my body was exhausted and injured and I, despite being skeptical of acupuncture, needed help. He answered the phone when I called and went out of his way to see me that very day. I couldn't believe that after a 20 min session I felt relief. Right away I became a believer in the healing powers of acupuncture. He also introduced me to Chinese herbs, which became a fundamental part of my body's recovery and path away from chronic tiredness, aches and pains (again, despite my skepticism.) Chris not only relieved my pain, he showed me how to slow down and be mindful. He taught me to listen to my body. Would recommend him to anyone. read more

Chris Veiga has transformed my life. I was suffering from exhaustion and kept equating it to simply overdoing it with my exercise routine. Chris thought something else might be going on and sure enough my adrenals were not working properly. After the lab tests came back, Chris created a program with Chinese herbs in combination with 2 Western supplements. Improved dramatically yet, once I went off the treatment, declined. Chris immediately was on it and after re-testing the adrenals added more powerful Chinese herbs as well as looked into other things that could be exasperating the problem. I trust him beyond words and through his diligence came up with final piece of the puzzle -- blown away he figured out that certain foods in my daily diet were negatively affecting me and making it impossible to heal. I've dramatically adjusted my diet and I'm currently taking a combination of high grade herbs and tonics that Chris supplied. I am finally feeling back to myself -- happy, energized and clear headed. I am in awe of his knowledge and have so much gratitude. Thank you Chris! read more

Chris is a very kind and caring person. He uses acupuncture and herbal medicine. He can fix whatever ails you.

I went to Chris to get help with my hypertension. I had been diagnosed and had been on medication for about 10 years. Despite being very particular about eating healthy, getting consistent exercise, improving my sleep, meditating, etc.....I continued to find that my blood pressure was increasing and so was my medicine. (My medication had been doubled on 3 different occasions going from 10 mg to 80 mg) Chris put together a plan that would lead to lowering my hypertension and medication. At the beginning of each treatment visit, he would spend time discussing how I was feeling, results from tracking of my blood pressure, and giving me insight into how my treatments were helping me. Since working with him, I've been able to discontinue my medication and maintain a healthy blood pressure. I feel great and I now have a host of new tools to help me maintain my health. read more

I originally went to Chris when I was having really bad headaches/ocular migraines and couldn't really work. I had been to numerous doctors - and no relief. So, I reached out for an alternative possibility. During my first meeting with Chris, he fully explained the acupuncture process to me and answered all my questions. Then, I received my first treatment. It took about 20 mins, but when the treatment was over, the headache and associated dizziness was 98% gone! It was amazing! I could actually open my eyes fully without any pain from the light, and I was feeling so good, I was able to go out and run errands. Sounds like no big deal, but for me it was something that had previously been to painful to do. I can't recommend Chris enough. read more

I've known Chris for 2 years now. I only recently began seeing him for my Chinese medicine, acupuncture and herbal remedies. He is helping me rebuild my adrenal system which is often depleted from stress. The results I'm getting are wonderful. His needle precision and placement are excellent and he really does find and energize the Chi through the Meridians. Each visit, based on my pulse and his assessment of my demeanor, he customizes that treatment with proper placement of needle technology to stimulate and balance my Chi - And FIRE up my Chi! Furthermore, his cupping technique is powerful. The kidney and liver are invigorated by the cupping. That, combined with great herbal remedies and a firm hug as I arrive and leave - it's a great way to feel whole again week after week. I always recommend Chris and love his practice. He's passionate to his craft as I am mine so I always appreciate greatness when I experience it. Chris is Great! read more

Having suffered from sciatic pain for nearly two years, I had almost given up on finding relief. I had tried rolling, icing, stretching, yoga, and even Chiropractic treatments to no avail. Chris is excellent. He's compassionate and a true master of Chinese medicine. I went to him last year to avoid an invasive procedure that was being recommended to me by my doctor. Chris suggested I give him 12 weeks to help heal the problem. I had an acupuncture treatment 1x per week, and drank a custom herbal formula every day for 12 weeks. Chris would adjust the formula weekly, based on my pulse. He works with raw herbs, but if you can't stomach the taste, he will give you herbal capsules. After the 12 weeks, I went on vacation and did not have a follow up with my doctor for at least 3 months. Turned out that everything looked great, and I did not need the procedure after all. I was surprised and overjoyed. Thank you, Chris! read more

I began seeing Chris in March 2015 for a variety of health issues but the main focus of treatment was for my neck. In May of 2014, I experienced a horrible whiplash injury and concussion and had chronic neck pain ever since. After seeing various acupuncturists, chiropractors, massage therapists, craniosacral therapists and many pain meds later, I was still in a lot of pain. Nothing seemed to work! Then my sister highly recommended Chris. His acupuncture combined with cupping immediately provided relief. I live all the way in San Francisco and commute by bus to Mill Valley to see Chris as often as I am able because his services really help. In addition, Chris treated me for a variety of gastrointestinal issues. I had a parasite back in 2011 and have experienced chronic bloating, abdominal pain, and nausea. After going through the whole gamut of doctors, his acupuncture has been the only thing that works for me. My sister and I call him " The Miracle Worker " because his services really do heal you. I highly recommend Chris's acupuncture services for anyone dealing with chronic pain or any kind of health issue. His services are very affordable and I would have paid double for the benefits he has provided. Go see Chris--you won't regret it! Lisa Morrow read more

Dr. Veiga is truly a miracle worker. I have been suffering from chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain for over 7 years. I also internalize a great deal of my stress which adds to the shoulder and neck tension. I was recommended by a friend to see Dr. Veiga when the pain got so excruciating I could hardly walk. I had exhausted all of my other resources which included visiting my general practitioner (who simply dispensed medicine), visiting a chiropractor biweekly , physical therapy, yoga, and even visiting a podiatrist. After spending one hour with Dr. Veiga, I felt a sense of relief I have not felt in years. I felt no pain for the first time and felt tension relieved from every part of my body. Dr. Veiga is truly remarkable and life changing. I highly recommend him!! He also is extremely accommodating and will fit you into his schedule whenever you need him to be available, and he is located in a very convenient location!! I promise you will not be disappointed. Thank you Dr. Veiga!! read more
