Lori is such a kind soul! My partner and I were in town and I wanted to spoil him (and myself) with a couple's massage. It was the off-season when we went (May/June) so the other massage therapist that Lori works with was unavailable; however she was able to fit us in with back-to-back massages with no problem. I let my partner go first, and Lori recommended checking out the nursery next door that did NOT disappoint! When it was my time, my massage was targeted and thorough and sooo relaxing. I loved the friendly conversation and holistic healing elements she implemented. I asked my partner what he did while I was getting mine and he reported that he was so relaxed that he took a nap! About a month ago I was having headaches, feeling nauseated and dizzy, doctors did not help, so I decided to try a massage as a last resort with a small hope of resolving my problems. Sure enough my problems were spine related, the nerve was pinched. Lori figured it out, worked with my spine and it gave me a huge relieve right away. My dizziness stopped the same day. Inside you'll find an invitingly warm comfortable massage studio that instantly transforms your thinking to one of peace and calmness. Lori is such a genuinely lovely, grounded, open and welcoming person. She is very professional, and warmly engaging. Talking with her a few minutes set me at ease, and allowed me to feel confident to open up to her and explain where in my body I was having pain and tension. She carefully listened to me, then set about addressing those particular issues while going over my back, legs, arms, base of my neck, jaw line, temples, scalp, toes ... ... ... by then I was in seventh heaven and didn't care anymore where she was working. My mom and I had a lovely relaxing weekend in Idyllwild thanks to Lori's fantastic massages. We called her up and she was able to take us in immediately for two fantastic (and very reasonably priced) chair massages. We each had some back and neck issues that we explained to her and she knew just how to work on them and help us feel much better. Her location is an amazing little upstairs apartment with a great deck and view of the surrounding trees. It really adds to the relaxation to be able to listen to nature and feel the refreshing breeze as you get a massage. I was very happy with my experience with Lori and I highly recommend her services. I was very much looking forward to my massage after reading the previous reviews & speaking to Lori on the phone. I booked a month or more in advance since I would just be in for a weekend. When I couldn't find the location easily I called her only to find she wasn't even there waiting for me. She was on a house call & had no clue I was coming. She offered me a much later appt BUT no apology for her mistake. I booked in advance so I would not be turned away for a last minute appt but ended up with NO MASSAGE because of her error. I would advise anyone from out of town to reconsider this place if you want to keep your appt. read more
