Dr. Chang has been great in my journey of weight loss. In just over two months period, I lost more than 30 pounds using the ideal protein method. Dr. Chang was very upfront and knowledgeable and I followed his recommendations precisely and I am already in phase 4 of treatment. Before coming to Dr. Chang, I went to another ideal protein provider for consultation, but I was not very impressed with their approach and had to wait 20 minutes to just talk to the doctor. I started out (yet again) searching for a fitness program or center that met my requirements for ease of execution. I wanted something downtown so I could go during the day. Something with decent hours. Something that actually worked. I . found . it !! After googling weight loss, wellness and acupuncture (yes I know - desparate for an easy way out) I came across Wellness Bound. I was intrigued by their Ideal Protein weight loss program. Especially their slogan "your last diet". After reading the information - it made sense to me so I decided to try it. I went to my initial consultation appointment with Dr. Young Chang on 10/19/10. Female, 46 yo, 5'6". I weighed in at 166.2 lbs and over a 25 BMI. Today after my weekly appointment -------153.6 lbs and under the dreaded 25 BMI which is considered overweight. The program may seem difficult - NO carbs, NO sugar, NO fat but their Ideal Protein products really help make it easy. And they taste pretty good. You are responsible for 1 protein meal on your own and for providing vegetables. Once you get the hang of it - it's a piece of cake. I find that being organized about it is key. You name it, I've tried it....Atkins, Weight Watchers online, Nutrisystem, the Fat Flush, the Zone....this is the first program I have had real success with. Feel free to PM me with any questions. Dr. Chang is one of the best things that has happened to me and my health in the last 5 years. We've been working together for a year and a half now and I am so much happier and healthier. Here's the run down- I've had four surgeries in the last 5 years- 3 on a left knee meniscus tear and 1 for appendicitis. Naturally, my body has been traumatized and I've had countless compensation injuries and illnesses, it feels like my body just couldn't find a way to equilibrium. Most doctors just treated one problem at a time and never helped me find the root of all the inflammation. a co-worker lost 50 pounds over the summer and I wanted to know how he did it and he told me about Ideal Protein. So I found Dr Chang in the loop only a few blocks from my work. Dr Chang is very accomodating and will work with your schedule. The program really works if you stick to it. It's hard - but easy at the same time (if that makes any sense.) You eat protein and vegetables and the Ideal Protein foods. No carbs, sugar, and very little fat. I am down 4 sizes from 4 months ago, and 40 points down in cholesterol, and I'm not through yet.
