I give 3 stars not because of the service, but because of the inconsistencies. I'm guessing an issue with the owner creates fluctuating prices and constant employee turn over. It would be really nice to find a therapist I can grow with and they can learn me and my likes without having to start over with every visit. Also, I'm pretty annoyed that they "used" to have a buy 6 get one free perk and they suddenly did away with it right before I was about to earn mine. That was the main reason I went there. Guess I have to find another place to go. I've met the owner before, and she was kinda rude to me. It all kinda makes sense. Girl, get it together and take care of your people.

Last month I went in for a prenatal massage and this time Ms. Chandra was my masseuse. She made…read moresure I was comfortable the whole time, had a body pillow for me (since I can only lay on my sides) and made sure my feet were elevated. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and wasn't causing any discomfort to myself or the baby. I love that she asked me what scents she should avoid during the massage, I hadn't really thought about it but while pregnant there are just centain smells you just can't stand. So I appreciated her attention to the little details prior to my arrival. I only asked her to avoid lavander because I'm allergic to it, but she ended up avoiding anything scented, which I appreciated. Sometimes I don't know if something is going to make me nauseous until I smell it, so avoiding anything scented so my nausea wouldn't be triggered was very thoughtful of her. She was gentle yet applied enough pressure on tight spots without hurting me. She mentioned that massaging feet was her specialty, however, my feet are very ticklish so I asked her to avoid touching them. However, I can only imagine how good of a foot massage she gives because when she was working on my legs and thighs (getting closer to my feet) the better I felt she got at the massage! Since she had to avoid my feet she gave me a face massage, which, up until then I didn't know could be so enjoyable and didn't know was as relaxing as it was. Ms. Chandra also mentioned she does body art and henna tattoos, which I've been wanting to do. She is new to Holistic Healing but I hope she sticks around for a while because I truly enjoyed her service! Each masseuse has their own fee end I believe hers was $75 and she is well worth it!

After a long week of working, lugging over laundry (as many do when we visit parents, am I right?), and the hour plus drive up... a massage was definitely in order! I found Point Bliss on Yelp, and though it didn't have many reviews, the ones I did read were rave reviews! It was enough to spark my curiosity, plus, give me hope for some relief from the tension that was overtaking my body. Naomi was not only professional, but friendly and welcoming. She listened to my concerns, and was very communicative and attentive during the massage. Her touch was amazing, and what I really appreciated was her approach; as it is very intuitive- she just knew where my knots were. Aside from that, although her pressure was deep, it was in NO WAY uncomfortable. She would tell me when to breathe if she felt me tense up, and the fluidity of her strokes was so soothing I damn near fell asleep for a minute! She kept saying "Massages don't have to hurt to be effective." - And she was right! That being said, whenever I'm in town to visit mom... a session with Naomi will be a *MUST*!

For a last minute massage, this place was pretty good. It looks like they took an old house and…read moreconverted it into a business. From what I saw, there were only 3 rooms where someone could get a massage, so it's not one of those places where you're in a large shared room with curtain-like dividers. The place smelled great and appeared to be clean. The woman who massaged me didn't speak much English, but she was sweet and she did a great job on my back. The only thing is... this place is not in a great neighborhood. I felt a little nervous walking to my car in the back parking lot because my massage ended late around 9pm. They do prefer cash and they didn't have much to look at in terms of a menu/pricing, so it was difficult to indicate what exactly I wanted. Also, the lady who was giving me the massage had to leave a couple of times during our session together because people were walking in from the street and she had to deal with them in the front lobby. One of them happened to be some crazy drunk man who they quickly shooed away. I felt like that could have turned into a dangerous situation, and that made me feel vulnerable being that I was half-naked laying face down with my purse besides me.
