I had a case manager, Joseph, call me to confirm this appointment. I go in 30 minutes early to fill out the necessary forms as requested, and then an hour and a half goes by without anyone coming to see me. Then I was gaslit by staff, saying that I didn't actually have an appointment, when I absolutely did, and was called to confirm my appointment the day before. After voicing my frustration, I spoke to a manager who gave me a slip with a scheduled appointment for today. He was profusely, apologetic, and said that my phone appointment would absolutely happen next week. Fast forward to today. Here we are, 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment and they have broken yet another appointment with me. This was yet another scheduled appointment. I realize that perhaps their bandwidth may be low, but the whole purpose of confirming appointments is that you show up at an agreed-upon time when your patient is there. I'm just done with this clinic, what a sad joke for people that really need their services.

HORRIBLE ALL AROUND…read more I don't even know where to start. To put it in simple terms, the people at this place worked directly with Lauren Brock of the advocacy group to violate my client rights and engage in many ethical code violations. I am traumatized from my experience. All they did was cause immense distress by creating a toxic and unstable environment, tell me one thing and do the other, then gaslight me when i'd get frustrated. They held financials over my head constantly in order to comply with their orders, and often made me sign ROIs i was no comfortable signing. All my private therapy sessions were relayed back to Lauren Brock, someone i did NOT want to sign an ROI for. All they wanted was a paycheck from my wealthy father knowing he was willing to pay as much as it took to "cure" me. Horrible. Their "amazing" psychiatrist also put me on meds that made me gain 30-40 lbs, i was pushing 170 at one point, and all i was told by the team was that i am showing signs of an eating disorder for trying to restrict myself and lose weight. They then proceeded to put me on an SSRI to "manage the dysmorphia" despite me having a literal BIPOLAR 1 DIAGNOSIS. That's actually insanity to me. Anyway, they lied on my discharge forms, took months to correct it, and then didn't actually correct it. In fact Laura made it seem worse than it was before. They also were extremely difficult to communicate with when my corvette got stolen off their property. Accountability seems to be a difficult concept for them to grasp despite non stop preaching that to me for over a year. My car was a 55k corvette, it's nothing special. and it was stolen at the BW house... Now what if someone decides to bring their 200k luxury vehicle? If you're charging us so much money you'd think you'd keep the house secure. With all this being said, Jeff, Dr. Aye, and nurse Kay are the exceptions. They were the only genuine people who actually cared about helping me, but they had no power or room to do so because Lauren and Laura Berman were running the show. Stay away from these people if you want real help for mental health or substance abuse. If you're a parent looking to support your child, STAY FAR AWAY. they will manipulate you. they will cause such a huge rift in your family dynamic while placing the blame solely on your child. it creates resentment and a lack of trust. My family dynamic has healed tremendously since I was able to escape this place and show my father the true reality of this place. We haven't fought since. Yet under their "care" there was fights every week, we barely talked, he didn't trust me, i didn't trust him, and everything was purely transactional between us. Wonderful dynamic you created guys! Be proud of yourself! Please note this is all alleged until proven to be true in court.

(This is my review for the SF office, but I am sure it is relevant here as well. I have a suspicion…read morethat this type of behavior may allegedly by systematic) My experience at The Camden Center, which I entered in 2022 seeking help for what I initially believed was Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and PCOS, proved to be deeply concerning. I left feeling worse off, largely due to what I perceived as significant issues in diagnostic clarity, treatment approaches, and financial interactions. Here's a detailed account of my journey: 1. Diagnostic Clarity Concerns: During my time there, the clinic director, Dr. Reina Remigio, expressed to me that she did not believe I had BPD. However, upon my discharge, my records, as I understood them, continued to reflect this diagnosis. I was also concerned that documented symptoms I experienced, such as mania and insomnia, which can be indicators of bipolar disorder, seemed to be overlooked. It was disheartening that a later independent assessment by another professional was able to provide a clear bipolar diagnosis in a single session, something I felt The Camden Center struggled to achieve over several months of treatment. Looking back at my Camden Center medical records, I found no documented evidence of me displaying classic BPD behaviors like "I hate you don't leave me," "fear of abandonment," or "lashing out." 2. Questions about Treatment Approaches: I was prescribed herbal supplements for PCOS, which I felt was not an evidence-based medical approach for my condition. Additionally, I continued to be prescribed Lexapro even when I was experiencing symptoms that, in hindsight, I now understand could indicate bipolar disorder, which SSRIs like Lexapro can potentially worsen for some individuals. It also felt confusing to continue Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) when my BPD diagnosis was being questioned by the clinic director. 3. Concerns Regarding Financial Discussions: My case manager and other staff members engaged in what I experienced as aggressive discussions about their overnight program. Despite my clear statements that I could not afford this program, I felt consistently pressured to enroll. This approach felt more like a sales tactic than a focus on my individual patient-centered care. 4. Formal Complaints Filed: I have since submitted formal complaints to the relevant California licensing boards regarding my experiences with Dr. Reina Remigio and Jacqueline Marcil and the overall care and financial pressures I encountered. To Prospective Patients: Based on my experience, I strongly encourage you to: Demand diagnostic assessments in writing and ensure they are consistent with your understanding of your care. Be cautious of treatment recommendations that feel financially motivated. Remember that a clinic's "prestige" does not always guarantee the quality of care or a patient-centered approach. Non AI prompt: I went back and forth on how safe it would be for me to share my medical records, and yeh it puts me in dicey territory. But here is the reality, most reporting to the proper boards rarely results in actually disciplinary action. Just look at the 8 passengers case, that therapist had been reported multiple times and was able to maintain her license. The system protects bad therapists and bad psychologists. They can charge you exorbitant amounts of money and when you show them how you aren't better they can say like "well you consented to this treatment". As a patient you aren't safe. So yeh, I am putting myself in a bad situation because what happened to me at this facility damaged me and my family members. They knew I was struggling to pay for the program and they told me they would help me get better, and while they did provide some help, it was not 35k worth of help, maybe 1k at most. I would never do to someone what Jacqueline and Reina did to me. I would never take advantage of someone in that way, just for 35k. My life is worth more than that. The bipolar symptoms were obvious. There is no excuse to have ignored my repeated requests for an assessment and there is no excuse for a facility that charges 35k to have repeatedly overlooked bipolar disorder when I was displaying almost none of the unique identifying traits of BPD I can't include private discussing with other psychologists regarding the misdiagnosis as that is protected or something, IDK. So I am including my medical record showing the proper diagnosis after leaving Camden.

Even though my wife and I have been together for almost a decade, there was a lot to learn about our process of communication and our patterns of thinking. It was scary to start, but she really helped us understand that what we go through are challenges that many do. Dr. Lederer never takes sides and had a very insightful and empathic way of helping us bring out and explain what we may not have the words to describe accurately to each other. Even though therapy can be difficult at times remembering, understanding and confronting issues, she has always created a safe space for us to open up even though at times we did not know how. We are glad that she has helped us understand that it's not just about focusing on what is wrong with the relationship, but always putting forward and not forgetting the positives as well. There is always on-going work to be done, but we are glad to have her guidance through it all.

She stood out to me as a wonderfully steady and calming person just from a single phone call, and I immediately had a great impression of her. We ultimately made the decision to forego pre-marital counseling due to time and cost restraints. Fast forward a few years post-marriage, and my husband and I faced a really tough point in our marriage. We had never done couples therapy before, but we realized that without help our future was uncertain at best. I remembered Dr. Lederer, called her, and pretty soon we were sitting in her office every week for the next year. We owe a lot to Dr. Lederer's sensitive and impartial guidance as we faced some scary issues together and learned how to communicate with each other more effectively. Her office became our safe space to really talk to each other and voice our thoughts and feelings openly. Dr. Lederer was there to guide us when we weren't truly hearing each other and provided us the tools to communicate better in and out of sessions. Dr. Lederer helped us during a critical time of rebuilding our trust in each other and in our relationship, and I look back on that time period now and find that I am grateful for it, despite how hard and often heartbreaking it was. We came out a stronger couple, a more cohesive unit, more able to speak and express our feelings to each other, and definitely a couple better equipped to weather the tough storms. The great thing too is knowing that if we are ever up against another seemingly insurmountable challenge, Dr. Lederer will be there as a resource to guide and help us through it all again.

Just giving me the right amount of space to try and articulate all the noise in my head. I met consistently with Julia for more than a year. Scheduling was never an issue, and I never felt rushed for time during our sessions. The best way I can describe the atmosphere that Julia created for me is to say that it felt like I was meeting a friend in a warm, cozy cafe where I could speak openly and endlessly about all that was on my mind - without fear, judgment or negativity. I brought to her all the trivial, minute inconveniences that occur in anyone's life (spats with friends, awkward run-ins with neighbors, etc.) as well as all the bigger challenges life throws one's way (heartbreak, losing your sense of purpose) - and Julia always gave each of my issues its proper place and weight. She listened and we discussed, but she never gave advice that felt prescriptive or mandatory. Always thoughtful and considered. The shifts she helped me make in my perspective and self-talk are pretty extraordinary.
