Fried chicken burger was absolutely amazing. Staff was friendly. Took about 15 minutes to get a meal. Would recommend if in the area.

We returned to The Galley at Sydney Boathouse, a beautiful spot, right on Sydney Harbour marina…read moresituated between Rozelle and Glebe, and under the ANZAC Bridge. The nearby car park gives 1 hour free parking so it's easy to pop by for brunch or lunch. It's a lovely view of the city scape and boats in the harbour and you can enjoy your breakfast up on the deck of the converted waiting hall / shipping container, or on a lounge by the water. This time we opted for the couches and made friends with a nearby diners French bulldog. It's certainly a dog friendly spot. You can also sit inside if the weather isn't suitable with beautiful styling, nautically themed with blue striped cushions, decorative ropes and anchors. We loved this place last time, so we were keen to try their new menu. The menu has a more varied amount of choices at brunch. There's sweets, salads and some regular and ever popular choices. The mozzarella with avo, perfectly place on sourdough with greens and pomegranates, heirloom tomatoes and and a soft poached egg was beautiful. The roast pumpkin salad with grains, Persian feta, heirloom salad, avocado, confit onion, Pepita dukkah and herbs is the kind of dish I'd enjoy every day. Super healthy and refreshing and the pumpkin was perfectly cooked. For a sweet finish, we really liked the poached pear on brioche, toast with salted caramel, passionfruit cream, candied pistachio and lemon zest. We imagine this will be a very popular menu item.

YUUUUM! Enormous portions, great coffee, friendly staff. I had chorizo and eggs and it was great…read more Eggs were poached perfectly, chorizo was grilled and hot and delicious. Also tasted a few other things - all were fantastic. Only downside is that it's not cheap. $19 for a big brekky, $20 for eggs benny, $18 for my brekky. We're only talking about a couple of dollars, and considering Petersham's lack of choice that's not surprising, but still not cheap. Now there's two great options for brekky in Petersham - these guys and The Counter. We'll be back, to both.

One of the best cafes I've been to in the Inner West. The mismatched decor has a charm about it…read morethat makes you feel like you're in for a real treat. Book shelves loaded with old books cover the walls and empty picture frames hang above the bar. My partner and I enter out of the icy winter winds into this warm haven. The staff welcomed us made us feel very at home. Started with drinks - Chai Tea ($5.50) for me and a glass of Sangria ($8) for my partner. The tea was served in a small bowl on an old worm saucer, it was so adorable that my heart almost exploded. The sangria was, according to my other half, strong - but the good type of strong. We got Spicy Italian Meat Balls with bread ($16) for my love, and a C.B.L.T Baguette ($19) for myself. The meals are hearty and you will not be leaving hungry, that is for sure. Even when they were cooking the food the smell was bliss. My C.B.L.T had a silky aioli on top of seasoned grilled chicken, chunks of warm brie, bacon, tomatoes, and lettuce. It was a good size. It did get a little messy, but every mouth full was pure bliss. The meatballs were the perfect winter meal. The rich basil and tomato sauce went well with the crispy toasted bread and butter. The staff are super nice. The cafe is right next to the park and felt very relaxing. This place was truly filled with little treasures.
