Fall Creek is small and a bit out of the way for most people, but I feel like that only works in its favor. There is no glamour here, just the film (and knowing indie flicks, most of them probably wouldn't go with the concept of glamour anyway) and you in a chair that feels much older than you are. Fall Creek always brings an awesome selection of films to Ithaca, and I've run into a lot of my professors here, who, too, must miss the cultural fulfillment of more metropolitan areas. But the place makes you glad you're in Ithaca and not in a crowded city center - not only do you get to watch your indie movie in peace, you get room to think about it too.

We've also made equipment purchses through them, and they are currently being our personal saviors by helping us with a nightmare kitchen hood situation. The advertisement said, "Walk-ins welcome". I thought what a good idea! When I went to the career center, I encountered Vivian, the receptionist. I told her my story of being new in town. She went to the back to speak to a employment counselor. Vivian came back and said I will meet with Ramona. I found Ramona amazing. She helped me by showing me resume samples, spoke to me about how to find jobs in the area, and she sent me jobs listings. Ramona made my life even better. Since she revamped my resume, I started getting job interviews! She gave pointers as to how to approach different businesses. Ramona sent me links on interview preps and connections that I can contact. All of her helps resulted me in getting a job offer! Awesome! Overall, I feel that Tompkins Workforce tends to be under rated. They offer a ton of resources.
