Joanne was patient and non-judgmental about my goals and needs. She was so very knowledgeable. After a few sessions together I had learned so much about how to take care of my late-preterm baby and she supported me as I tried to breastfeed. I don't know what I would have done without her. She continues to have an ongoing issue and side effects. No one is taking her seriously. How can you be in this profession, if you do not care for your patients? How do you dismiss your patients concerns and not return phone calls? Or call to follow up with test results after a full week? The woman who answered the phone was dismissive and rude. I hope she does not find herself in this position in the future with a loved one where medical attention is needed and not being provided to any level of acceptability. Rise to your responsiblity with care, concern and compassion. Take your responsibility seriously or leave this profession. Especially women ignoring the concerns of other women as though we are not ignored enough out in the world, now we have to scream to be heard concerning our health. Shame on you! DO BETTER!!!!!!

My 4 year old son who was transitioned from Help Me Grow into a public preschool has been attending…read morespeech and occupational therapies at Specialized Speech Technology to help with his development. We really like this clinic compared to others we've been to in the past. The location is very accessible and there's a big waiting room enough for adults to sit and relax while waiting for their child/children. We have been to different clinics where waiting room is either way too small or too congested with kids toys laying around the floor. Specialized Speech instead provides 2 massage chairs besides a stationary touch screen busy board for the siblings who wait in the waiting room. I think it's a very thoughtful and simple ways of providing convenience for both kids/siblings and parents without crowding the waiting room with a bunch of toys that could be hazardous sometimes. Classes are clean, well equipped and the staff are excellent! Jenni is very prompt and accommodating when it comes to scheduling and the therapists really work hard to cater to your kids needs'. My son has been showing great progress and we will continue to spread the good words about this place. Thank you SST!
