Most recently a basement overhaul to use the space as a social/entertaining area. As with earlier projects, we are totally pleased with all aspects of their work. They tiled the entire floor area, painted the walls and installed new lighting. They even installed a large wall TV. While I have no reason to doubt the negative reviews, that has never been our experience. I would not hesitate to contact them for projects in the future.

The wall started to lean slightly within 5 years as it was not built with drainage in mind. This time around, I wanted the retaining wall build the right way. I called Charles and Son Construction & Landscaping to get an estimate because I prefer someone local and was pleased with their online reviews. Carlos arrived as scheduled to write up the estimate. He immediately suggested re-using the blocks since they seemed to be in decent condition and would save money. I met with another company the day prior and was originally planning on getting a 3rd estimate. After getting Carlos' very reasonable estimate and asking a few question regarding timeline, I approved the estimate and was ready to move forward. Just 3 days later, the work started and was finished just 4 days later with a Sunday and a rainy Monday that was a wash out. I was so pleased since this has been on my todo list for the last several years and relieved to have it done correctly. My neighbor was also pleased to get part of his yard back. I highly recommend Charles and Son Construction & Landscaping for any outdoor project. You won't be disappointed. I plan on calling Charles and Son Construction & Landscaping again in a couple of years for driveway and walkway pavers.

They did an amazing job and we are very happy. The work crew were experienced and professional. The Accurate rep, Rob, was available throughout the process. He was very accessible and responsive. When you called him, he either answered or called back right away (which is very rare amongst tradesmen). Classic Remodeling's pricing was not the cheapest, but was competitive with the other companies, and their warranty and pricing policy combined with the recommendation from family led us to choose them for our roofing and siding project. We were quoted a week for the whole job: 1-2 days for the room, and ~5 for siding and gutters. The roof was done in 1 day, with the team working well after 5 to get the job done. Their team arrived around 730 everyday, and started working at 8, if not earlier. Even with rain stealing about a day and a half, the project was done in a week. The team worked past 5 more often than not, and on the last day they were sweeping our driveway as the sun was setting after installing the gutters. We weren't asked to pay a dime until the job was done. Communication was great for the entire ordeal. I wish Classic Remodeling did more than windows, siding, roofing, and doors, because I'd want to hire them for all future renovations.

After I contacted them, they apologized and blamed equipment issues, then rescheduled. Unfortunately, they missed the second appointment as well--again without a phone call or any advance notice. Four days later, they reached out with another apology and scheduled a third appointment. Instead of honoring the original contract, they sent me a text saying the job would now cost an additional $2,000, claiming they needed more material. This made no sense because they had already visited my property to take measurements and prepare the original estimate. If additional materials were required, that should have been identified before providing a contract price and scheduling the work. The repeated no-shows, lack of communication, and last-minute price increase demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism. I cannot recommend this company and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
