I had originally done my consultation with Dr. Baugh, but on my second visit I wasn't told she had left and I'd be with a new dentist until I had already paid and was in the dental chair. Dr. Murad did successfully fill some cavities, but one of my teeth (which had no pain before the first visit) has been very painful while chewing and flossing ever since he worked on it. I came back for them to fix it, only to get poked and prodded for 20 minutes to "test the nerve" (which I had already told them was painful), completely redo the filling, and have all the pain come back when numbing wore off. I'm visiting another dentist for a second opinion, and have tried to contact The Lewisville Dentist multiple times over the past 2 weeks to try to process a refund on my remaining balance and to send my X-rays to me (they had to take so many when redoing the filling that now my insurance is concerned with covering more this year). While trying to contact them I was told that they needed to get more information and would call me back (they never did), when I called them back today, they left me on hold until their business had closed after I had told them I needed to speak with someone. I'll update with the second opinion, as well as when/if (emphasis on if) The Lewisville Dentist is able to return a customer's call, take actions to process requested refunds, or actually transfer requested medical information to their patients.

Dr…read more Capehart's bedside manner is perfect, he cares about what he does and in keeping my oral health in tip-top shape. He doesn't push for expensive and unnecessary procedures, but has reasonable rates for any work you may need done. I have a problem which causes local anesthetics to not work on me sometimes. Not only has he been successful in getting me numb more than any dentist I've tried in years, he also has nitrous oxide to calm me down when it comes time to get a shot. I never had anxiety and needed it until the dentist I had before Dr Capehart. She had shot me up so many times (over 2hrs) to try to get me numb, that my mouth was bleeding for a week and she never even got the work completed. Dr Capehart is the exact opposite. He's a wonderful and responsible dentist. His staff always knows who you are, what you're there for, and are 100% a joy to work with.
