He recommends treatment and it's up to you to take it or not. No pressure. I did not think he was conservative either. Sometimes I go to a dentist and I went for a cleaning but he tries to get me to get a lot of procedures that maybe pure cosmetic but not medically necessary. Make this your next dentist office home.

Long story short, I didn't feel confident with that dentist's suggestion of treatment based on a glance in my mouth and no reference to my X-ray (at least). It's difficult to find a dentist one can really put their trust in Chandra, the dental assistant @ The Lewisville Dentist used xrays, color images (what a difference THAT made for me to see for myself what was going on!) and other tests to detect my problem. She explained everything prior to proceeding (as did Dr Goodman). Both Dr Goodman and her staff were engaging and did everything to make me feel comfortable In every way. Dr Goodman was profesional, yet funny! She gave her diagnosis and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. Her pricing was good, (not high like some others!), for the crown that I needed. I decided to move forward and they took care of me that day! I knew I'd found myself out new family dentist, who just happens to be 15 min from out home. Dr Murad takes time to carefully explain everything before beginning. The office staff, including iris , go the extra mile to help with insurance and answer questions and provide needed paperwork for reimbursement for FSA. Dr…read more Capehart's bedside manner is perfect, he cares about what he does and in keeping my oral health in tip-top shape. He doesn't push for expensive and unnecessary procedures, but has reasonable rates for any work you may need done. I have a problem which causes local anesthetics to not work on me sometimes. Not only has he been successful in getting me numb more than any dentist I've tried in years, he also has nitrous oxide to calm me down when it comes time to get a shot. I never had anxiety and needed it until the dentist I had before Dr Capehart. She had shot me up so many times (over 2hrs) to try to get me numb, that my mouth was bleeding for a week and she never even got the work completed. Dr Capehart is the exact opposite. He's a wonderful and responsible dentist. His staff always knows who you are, what you're there for, and are 100% a joy to work with.

I have seen recent turnover in the front desk and hygienists over the last several years, however he continues to hire quality staff. I cannot speak to his prices compared to the market, however you get what you pay for, as they say. When it comes to any major dental work, he will do it the correct way, not taking short cuts. He also ensures you feel NO pain. Dr. B. is a new addition to his practice. She is very warm and seems to have the same work ethic. The Staff: Martha is incredibly patient and will do whatever it takes to get you scheduled (I have a very limited availability). Marichu assists with all major procedures. She's seen me through it all (e.g. wisdom teeth, fillings, and a crown). I have gone through two hygienists over the years, always wondering if I was going to like the next one.
