We had some friends in town from San Diego and wanted to show them a few places we've been meaning to try. It was a Monday evening and it was pouring down rain. We weren't even sure anyone would be inside Weldon Mills - thankfully they were. As you walk in it's just such a big space, lots of seating areas and visual interest. The bartender was very welcoming, and we think that he was happy to see us. We got our cocktails very quickly, and the bartender even explained some things about the distillery to us. We had such a nice time just relaxing and getting out of the rain. Sadly, I did not take note of the names of the cocktails that we got, but it is nice to see. They have a rotational menu. The drinks were fall themed. We will definitely come back!

...and so it begins - embedded in the concrete floor of the entrance. I like that!

Set up a meetup for my dining club for early afternoon drinks. We got the little conversation area beyond the bar with the round table, and had several chairs and a small sofa. Very comfortable and private. We ordered drinks and a hummus plate, which came with cucumbers as well as bread for dipping. The drinks were really tasty, using their varied spirits and house-made syrups. In the past, I've come alone, but it was fun to share this great spot with my friends.

I was sooo happy that me and my friend got to finally try this place. We were lucky enough that when we visited they weren't busy at all but even if they were there is plenty of seating! We tried their Rhubarb Colored Glasses , Espresso Martini, Halifax Sunset and one that was their version of a lemon drop. All of them were perfectly balanced and tasty. We also tried their chicken wings and whatever dry rub they used on man was it good! It is worth the visit downtown and the perfect place to sit and relax with a good cocktail and not feel rushed off.

Weldon Mills has been on my list of places but I hadn't planned to visit. I saw the tiki lounge as I passed by while in the area. Lauren was so nice and welcoming into the Tiki Lounge area. Lauren was genuinely happy to see me as I walked inside. Lauren educated me on all things last Friday at Weldon Mills. On the last Friday there is a live band inside Weldon Mills. I've always wanted to hear Al Strong play and ironically I stumbled upon this gem of a space not having any knowledge of the live music. I enjoyed some food inside at the bar. The staff inside were equally pleasant and welcoming. The wings were delicious. I tried the gin-tasting flight for only $8 I believe. A great price. The 86-proof platinum-distilled gin infused with real fruit was really good. I enjoyed the hibiscus ginger and raspberry. For dessert, I tried the red velvet cake. The cake isn't the best I've had, but for there to be dessert offerings - this was a nice addition to satisfy my sweet tooth. Weldon Mills is spacious and cozy for a date night or girls' night out. I look forward to my next visit.

Nice and open. Several different options for tastings. Excellent customer service. The prices are very fair. I'd like to get a bottle next time. I love that there are options for whiskey gin vodka and tequila. Rustic decor.

Beautiful atmosphere , delicious cocktails, not super crowded. We did a tequila and gin tasting.

I had an easy time sipping and enjoying the atmosphere of Weldon Mills. It felt like I was walking into a speakeasy as the lights were a little low, and the couches, chairs, and stables had a vintage flair and vibe to them. I decided to check out their whiskey flight, and my favorite out of the five hands down was the peach elderflower. It had a nice hint of sweetness and was an easy sipper. I am always looking for whiskey flavors that my mom can use to bake cakes with, and this is one that I think she will need to add in her rotation! I liked it so much that I got a single pour. My total was just a little over $17! What a great night with good service as well! I will be back for a few more sips in the future. They have specials almost every day. This must be a go-to when you go downtown!

This was a fun spot to hang out and listen to some music. Who knew that they had so many different liquors and flights to choose from? Would be a great place to grab drinks with friends.

Great bourbons! Awesome space! We did a taster of bourbons and gin. Some good gins too. We'll be back to do a whiskey tasting.

All five of them were amazing but the peach elderflower, caramel apple, and maple ones were my favorites.

The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous and feels like a trendy spot in Mexico. They have a DJ playing music during brunch time. We were initially concerned it would be too loud and hard to talk over, but it was actually the perfect volume and only enhanced our experience. Food was excellent! We got a breakfast sandwich, loaded tater tots, and poke. All were very fresh and well made - especially the fish dish!

I explained and showed her that I booked standard seating and she said that meant outside, which I thought was strange because I was very careful not to book either option that was clearly labeled outdoor. I told her that we wanted a table inside and she said "I have a table that has a reservation for 11:30, can you be done by then?" I laughed and said "sure" but thought to myself that would be up to them! She asked another hostess to seat us, and after we were seated, we waited about 15 minutes and watched staff walk by our table multiple times and no one came by. The original interactions had already put a bad taste in my mouth, so I called another restaurant downtown and asked how long the wait would be for two. They could seat us in the bar area right away, so we got up and left Aaktun to head there. The first two experiences that I had at Aaktun were great. I'm glad I got to try their food because I won't be back after Sunday's experience.

We made a reservation for a Saturday night dinner and he made sure we were well taken care of all night. We started the night with their James Bears award winning cocktails, and every drink we ordered was a hit! Spiced strawberry mule, Sunset Sipper, and the table favorite: Earl Please. The latter two drinks were mocktails and they were still standouts! As for the food, the Alley burger was perfectly cooked: juicy patty paired with truffle cheese and simple toppings that really highlighted the burger itself. And shoestring fries are always a good choice with a delicious burger. Ricotta gnocchi was also very good. As our server Anthony said, let's get this burger nominated!

Over burgers, over French food, over ramen, over Indian. Why? Because Alley26 serves delectable oysters, succulent burgers, and incredible tin fish. Yes, tin fish. If you haven't seen their extensive menu of fish, you must! While it's not for everyone, it is a tinned fish enthusiasts heaven! I go here to celebrate milestones with a good friend and we always have a mini feast, paired with a glass or two of wine. My favorite time to go is when the weather is comfortable and we can sit in the alley way, it's soooo chic that it feels like you're sitting outdoors at a meal in Italy of France. Service is always on point and I forget the bartenders name that is super knowledgeable and super kind. When I remember, I'll circle back to update this review. If you're thinking about this place, definitely check it out! The only inconvenience though is that I believe is 21+ over, at least at night it is.

I think it is a shared lot because the restaurant was pretty empty during my visit today. i have visited twice now (jan 2026 & may 2026) and i order a decent amount of food for the table to share. Both times, every plate has been room temperature. Thats super disappointing especially since the Korean dishes we ordered are typically served very hot (and in clay pots). It would be fine if my food was even remotely warm, but that hasnt been the case for either of my visits. Our food took a very long time to come out, which would have also been fine had the food came out hot, so i am wondering why it took so long to send out cold food? Also, for some reason there was a strong odor of some sort permeating through the beer hall. I couldnt place what it was but it was not pleasant for me. I feel like i am rarely sensitive to smells but i had to spritz a perfume to mask it. It might've just been a cleaning product or something, not sure. Something to note is that you have to pay for the banchan here. This is typically served with your meals for no additional cost as they are considered 'essential' to your meal. So a charge for them was surprising for me.
