Saturday night and it was hopping, we waited 20 mins for a table. The Fox River view was a bit of a letdown. It's there, but pretty distant; maybe the outside terrace would have a better view, but it was closed for the cold. I had the 5 oz filet, and my wife a shrimp mac and cheese. For an appetizer we had to try the cheese curds - visitors can't leave without a sample - I think it's the law. They are fried balls of cheese, and I must admit, delicious! As was my filet. I'm not normally a red meat kind of guy, but if I could get meat like this in CA I'd gladly convert. My wife also liked her entree a lot. The server was great and filled us in on local Packer lore, how newborns are put on the season ticket wait list so they would be set by the time they are 30! A great and tasty evening.

It would have given them 5 stars if the service was better. I was here by myself for a good hour and a half and it was just me. And the place was not that busy. Sorry to complain a little. But there is something wrong with training of staff or something. Lots of confusion. Good job other than that. Just a little more timeliness amd attentiveness! Thanks I will be back as my salad was great!

Don't make the mistake we did and get full on the appetizer!! However we have no regrets. Between the 2 items we got, both David and I enjoyed the General Tso's slightly more!! Definitely check out Thyme if you are looking for some delish farm to table food.

I had the wild mushroom-leek risotto with shrimp which was bursting with flavor. Our waitress was so lovely & did a great job at making us feel taken care of on a busy night. Upon arriving there were about 8 people at the bar and all the tables were empty. The bartender ignored us so I asked if we could sit anywhere, she said there wasn't a waitress. We said that's fine, we don't mind grabbing the food, can we order? She hesitated and said she has to check if the cook wants to stay (weird, it was 6 pm), walked in the back, came out a few minutes later with food for someone at the bar and ignored us. Needless to say we left. Very rude.
