He hit the ground running, covering everything to keep things from getting too dirty, he was clean, he was efficient, effective, communicative, respectful, and did what he said he'd do (yes, most people don't-weird also, 3 contractors have made sexual advance on me and ghosted when I put up a boundary-money also isn't good enough for many these days either). First, he was the only one to showed up when he said he would at our mutually agreed to date and time. Second, his estimate was the only clear and detailed estimate and subsequent contract we received. He listened to what we said we wanted done and everything we wanted done was reflected in his bid estimate. The others were late or they changed dates and times for our meeting to receive a bid. They also didn't include everything we requested in the bid. As for the quality of the job performed by his team . . . OUTSTANDING in every way. I honestly believe our home looks better than the day we finished building it years ago. Friends have commented stating the same thing! Who knew a great paint job could have that kind of impact. I'd like to give a special shout-out to the team member who did the taping prior to the painting because it resulted in nice sharp contrasting straight-edges between colors. Really fantastic. The crew arrived to start the work when Kevin indicated they would be here and finished the entire job in 3 days. They are early to start, and they work late to take advantage of the daylight and better weather days. At the end of the job, they cleared all evidence that they were ever here - - no tarps, plastics, tape, garbage, etc. left behind. Superior job on clean-up after the paint job. Once we signed the contract, the work started within a week and was completed in under two weeks, which was half the time Josh projected. Apparently the last year's service company did not clean the gutters and the water was not flowing. Sam gave me an estimate that was reasonable. RoofWorks installed the gutters on my new house. Kevin and Jeff were the choice of our GC and…read moreseemed to have done a decent job based on their own design and spec. Then it rained. Multiple times. The north side of our house was instantly flooded, water coming through the windows that were opened (that was the end of open windows) and the gutter system failed miserably. Roof size / gutter and downspout capacity were not aligned. Nick, one their team members, was onsite and quickly diagnosed the problem to be downspout positioning (one of the two basically useless) and suggested they add a third one. From there it has been months (!) of chasing Kevin and Jeff. Replying to emails was not working and with voicemails that are full and not accepting additional messages, it was quite challenging. After GC stepped in, I was given a quote for gutters screen (an upgrade I requested) and the additional downspout that was needed. After *three* months of chasing them, the first installation date they would offer is three months out. Total of six months!! My expectation that they cover the cost of the downspout that they have failed to install in the right place in the beginning and recommended I add after the fact was flat out rejected. The ugliness of this company came straight out in blaming me for the mistake (the newly found gutter specialist). Then claiming their team member should have never recommended it and that it was not the problem. Going on and on about all of the various reasons it is my responsibility and not theirs. Many thousands of dollars of a project. $150 fix (paid to someone else who did it in ~30 minutes of work). Losing you good name, integrity and reputation like this reflects on the company, leadership and quality of work (or lack thereof) you can expect from RoofWorks Northwest. The images are of the actual one way email communications I had with them for ~3 months. As well as the latest reply I refined. I had two other vendors take a look at the fix, add the gutters screen protectors (additional business) and do the job in les than a week. I'd go with either of them - or many others - before RoofWorks Northwest. They are not worthy of your business and evidently, won't be there for you after.
