He IMMEDIATELY texted back and said he had a hectic day but couldn't come out and said he could come out later in the week. Draw your own conclusions on contacting them since I didn't use the service this is based on communication and the lack of follow through on their part.

Duke…read moreEnergy has an EV charger prep program to get reimbursed for preparing your home or garage with said charger. They will reimburse up to $1,133. After extensively asking Duke all the questions to get this reimbursement, I asked for a list of contractors they have worked with. They gave me a list of 5+ electric companies. Go Green was the 3rd one I called and the only one that answered. Right away, they showed me elevated service. I explained the situation to them and they offered a free consultation to come check out my garage and give me an estimate for the EV charger installation. The very next week, Richie, the technician, came out and met with my husband to check out the space. The first estimate was a little more than what we wanted to spend (with one expensive part being the cost of the surge protector). My husband asked if we could provide the surge protector would Go Green supply the labor for installation. Richie said they could do that and also that he will come up with 5 different customizations of estimates based on different services and promotions. Richie left and within a few hours, the estimates were in my email inbox. I ended up choosing one of the mid-level ones and signed the invoice ocking in the price. Go Green had to order some parts so installation happened a little over 2 weeks later. Richie was the technician for installation too. It took him and his partner a little over 2 hours to install the charger. The city also needed to approve the charger so Richie said Go Green would handle the communication with them so they could come out. I did put in a request with him for a certain day and the city was able to accommodate. Once I received all my documents (the proof of EV registration, my paid invoice, and the approved permit), I applied for Duke's EV charger prep program. I was rejected about a week-ish later for not having an itemized invoice up to their standards. I immediately called Go Green and told them what happened and within the hour, they emailed me a new invoice which I re-submitted to Duke. Two weeks later, Duke emailed me approval for the program and two weeks after that, I received my check in the mail. This is a long review, but I wanted to explain the full process of working with Go Green to get approved for the EV charger prep program. I cannot recommend them enough. They are efficient and professional. I am extremely happy with their work!

WHERE do I begin? How about Marvin, the tech who arrived a few hours after I had contacted this…read moreservice, Just Saved My House From Burning Down *due to an unknown arcing electrical outlet in the front room. So, the media room, in the rear of the house, had suddenly and completely lost power, in the morning. That room is the Wi-Fi, U-verse room with computers, TV ....the whole works. The rest of the house retained electricity but no internet ..no fire tv. Marvin arrived first, so any other techs from other electrician providers were cancelled within a reasonable time. Marvin then began methodically sleuthing this somewhat large, historic, home and found the culprit in the extreme other side of the house, *only after having first visiting the basement, crawl space, exterior panel and the panel on the 2nd floor landing. The errant wall plate and attached firing apparatus was found behind a large couch and as the evidence suggests was obviously minutes from igniting. Once it removed and replaced *including wiring,* it demonstrated such charring it was unsettling. After he replaced the wiring and ruined plate Marvin also shared a quick video in which he had showing the arcing in the darkness. Everything again was up and running. The bill was VERY VERY reasonable .I mean wow What a great adventure and not at all bad on the pocketbook!!!! yay ..Call these guys and ask for Marvin! You are lucky to get him, He knows his stuff!

My call was late afternoon; they had an opening the next day. Their electrician (who showed up exactly on time) quickly diagnosed the problem as being an outdoor outlet on that same circuit - but the builders had installed indoor-rated outlets outside! I authorized the electrician to replace all 3 outlets. He did - quickly and for a reasonable price. No problems since. I then called King again a couple months later to hang a heavy chandelier in our high foyer. Again: immediate opening, on time, quick work, good price, no issues.
