I once again woke up with irritated eyes because my left eye does not completely shut since the surgery. That is in addition to the surgery deforming my eyes as well as vision damage I have experienced since the surgery. The facelift he did was screwed up too, so I look odd, and I can't wear earrings because it feels uncomfortable on the whole lower sided of my face. For months I went back to Dr. Urbinelli trying to fix the eye issues. In one of his efforts, he stitched my eyelid shut (poorly) and it left a hole in my skin. Ultimately, as one last attempt to address the problems, he suggested that we proceed with a forehead lift, that he said would fix the eye issues...which I knew was impossible. I even questioned him, and he said yes, it would work. (I have confirmed with oculoplastic surgeons that it wouldn't work). I have had one bleph revision surgery, and now I have to have another. My one surgery from Dr. Urbinelli is costing me tens of thousands of dollars, multiple additional surgeries, as well as extreme emotional and physical pain. I hope my review saves others from the anguish of what I'm still going through. I read so many reviews and checked so many lists and did so much research... I thought for sure I did it all right. Let's face it, we get plastic surgery because we're vain on some level. I work hard for my money, and I spent it to look better but instead look worse.

I called to set up a time to come in. They told me they couldn't see me in the afternoon. I don't know if they couldn't see me in the afternoon, or just wouldn't. I went in the morning after my injury occurred. I saw Dr. Vrendenburgh. He talked kind of quickly. I was glad I had my Mom with me. I went back a month and a half later. I waited a long time. I was annoyed. Luckily, my injury had healed and I don't need any further care. The exam room I was in was when I went in for my recheck was hot, and I thought I was going to have a hot flash. I hope I never need another orthopedist. If I do, I don't know if I'll use this place again.

I called to schedule an appointment for a chronic orthopedic pain issue--something that is ongoing and significantly impacts my quality of life--and instead of receiving even basic assistance, I was met with condescension and dismissive behavior. The staff acted as though my concerns were an inconvenience rather than a legitimate medical need. They refused to properly assist me in scheduling and offered no guidance, alternatives, or solutions. There was zero empathy, zero professionalism, and absolutely no sense of patient care. For a medical office, especially one dealing with orthopedic issues, this level of disrespect and lack of support is unacceptable. Patients dealing with chronic pain should not have to fight just to be heard or to book an appointment. I would strongly caution others before attempting to seek care here. The way patients are treated at the first point of contact says everything--and in this case, it's not good.
