I tried going here for over 3 years from day one it was a nightmare. You ask questions they are just rude about it and don't really want to answer anything . My last straw would this company was about a month ago when I went in there for a headache and they ended up sending me a pretty hefty bill and I was only in there for 2 minutes . Every time I tried to ask the provider any questions she was just rude she didn't want to help me she just cut me off I basically got frustrated I said so I guess you're basically not going to help me and I just left very frustrated with the same condition that I went in there with . I would seriously think long and hard about going to this establishment. The type of care do you get here is not very good . They really need to work on not only their customer service skills and how they treat people but how they care for people as well and hopefully give people care in the future.

After meds and bed they prescribed provided little relief, acupuncture was recommended by a family friend. Village Community Acupuncture & Massage Therapy was able to provide immediate relief. Matthew listened, explained the process and discussed the theory. The first treatment provided enough relief to drop the meds. By the third visit I had him working on my neck & shoulder, other areas with minor muscle tightness and he has been very successful. I most appreciate the time they take. Each session we discuss the results of the last treatment. After an initial needling in the effected area they provide distal treatment (arms and legs). They take time, have a pretty good sense of humor and actually want to get it right. The price is more than fair for the extent of the service they provide. I understand each experience is different with acupuncture but I couldn't be more pleased with Village Community Acupuncture & Massage Therapy. I also heard Matthew is a co-presenter for a seminar on treatment for sport related injury. I like it.

My medical history forms presented to NP Nicole Quilty noted a recent heart attack, congestive…read moreheart failure, and Asthma which she discussed with me at length. After my appointment, she sent a prescription to my pharmacy, and my pharmacist informed me the medication was contraindicated for people with cardiac or pulmonary issues and was ill advised as it could cause Afib and depress my respiratory system. I also confirmed the medication is unsafe for patients with my health issues by visiting the manufacturers website. Keep in mind, NP Quilty and I discussed my cardiac and asthma issues prior to her prescribing the medication. I called her employer, NY Spine and Wellness in Camillus, NY for an explanation asking why she would prescribe a potentially harmful medication. I received a call back advising me not take the medication and no further explanation or response was ever received. NP Nicole Quilty has abysmal ratings for good reason. I will never again trust my healthcare to her or any practice which employs her, and I suggest you do the same. Take her reviews seriously and steer clear.

The office was confused on if it was on my Comp case or private insurance. Several employees kept pushing to have it under comp, but I wanted it under my government insurance. It was a total waste of time. Dr. Talerico was not willing to help with my pain and went as far to say I should get my care some where else. He wrote me a prescription for physical therap-which I am willing to try. They made my next appointment for a month later. I asked the receptionist if I should call to reschedule if I was wasn't able to get into physical therapy for the 4 weeks they wanted me to do before my next appointment. She told me I would have to call back and talk to a nurse. I am very disappointed in my care and feel they are all about the money and not about patient care. Rant over!

I told my girl "Olivia" to go easy on me that I didn't want to be a pain to her and she did--but she got me to the point of minimized pain -neck area.
