They called in the prescription at 11 AM when I arrived at 12:30 to pick it up, they said it was not ready yet and it would be an additional 30 minutes. The store is organized pretty well I could find everything that I needed. Since I had time to kill I did a little bit of shopping. I have the CVS rewards program so I had some coupons to redeem. That always makes the shopping trip a little more bearable as the prices are a little bit higher Than at a grocery store. All in all not bad. After half an hour was up my order still was not ready so I had an additional 15 to 20 minutes to wait. As long as you are not in a rush, it's a decent store to visit.

I asked the pharmacist who said that if it's not in the shelf they're sold out. I visited with another son to pick up toiletries and I found even more bare shelves. No soap, deodorant or black hair care products were on the shelves. This store is not well-stocked or managed. I wonder if they're closing for good soon as many other chains are across Maryland.

One of the best things that has happened to me in the past few years which has impacted my life in…read morea positive way has been finding Choice Pharmacy and its owners and staff. Between myself and my family we seem to always have prescriptions to be filled. Before I found Choice Pharmacy, I was running back and forth to other pharmacies so often fighting with traffic to and from the pick up. I take full advantage of the prescription delivery service that Choice Pharmacy offers. My life has been simplified because of this wonderful family owned business. In addition the experience at the other pharmacies was cold and un-neighborly. With Choice Pharmacy, the customer experiences a family owned and run business where care and concern are genuine and the experience is pleasurable. The feeling I get is that I am their only customer and yet that is not so. The customer service is by far extraordinary. I feel that I have stepped back in time to when everyone in the town knew your name and was happy to see you. If I have questions, I call and get an answer right away. When I first moved to the area just a few months ago, I chose this pharmacy as my top option based on its high ratings and positive reviews. But that changed in an instant, and they are no longer my number one pharmacy. I was having surgery, and I had my prescriptions sent to this Pharmacy. I got a call from the staff saying that they couldn't fill my oxycodone prescription because they were backordered 3 to 6 months. That's unacceptable. That's a prescription that should be easily filled. It shouldn't be backordered. I asked where else I could find it, and they suggested calling Wegmans, which had it in stock and filled it very easily. I don't understand how a pharmacy could not have a prescription that is so common and needed when someone has surgery, like I did. They filled the other three prescriptions I had sent in for different things during my first couple of months. However, when you can't fill a simple prescription like that, you quickly switch to a place that can fill everything, and that's where I am now. I can't in good conscience recommend using Choice Pharmacy because they let me down at a time when I needed them the most.

This has got to be the worst Walgreens I've ever been to in my life. The pharmacy is the pits…read more Plus, you can never get through on the phone. Even doctors can't get through on the phone. They leave a prescription order, and you have to pick it up because the doctor called it in, and you need the prescription. They claim it's not there, but it's actually because they never check their phone line. It's wild that a doctor can call in a prescription for you and still can't get through to the pharmacist. The store is understaffed, and the staff doesn't seem to care, even when they're understaffed, about helping you and getting things resolved unless you go in there and raise holy hell. The store shelves are half empty. If you are planning to pick up non-prescription medication, consider ordering from Amazon instead of trying to find it on their shelves, as you'll have a better chance of success. The only reason I go to this location is to pick up prescriptions for a family member. I don't use it myself because of the horrible experience I've had here, picking up prescriptions, and having to wait, or having to call and not get staff on the phone, and being on hold for over an hour. I do not recommend this location, and frankly, from the reviews for other Walgreens locations in the area, I don't recommend them either.

You call them and they say if they answer the phone oh you want it filled or that we out of stock and don't know when it is coming in. Our prescriptions are on auto refill and they don't fill them on time. I know their computer must show them that a medication is coming up for a refill and should alert them to fill it or order it so it would be ready on the date it supposed to be picked up. Today the pharmacy closed at 6pm and I started calling them and three times the phone rang for 15 minutes with the computer generated voice saying they are one with another customer and would be with us shortly. Then the phone goes to a regular ring and then says they are having problems wit their phone and hangs up. I then called the for the manager and they answered and transferred to the pharmacy and again no answer and it hangs up again. In the past I have called the pharmacy and was on the phone for over an hour and then I drove to the store and got in line and when i got to the counter the person said can i help you and i said can you answer the phone. While standing in the line the phone was steady ringing and not one person in the pharmacy was on or answering the phones. If you want good customer service go to another pharmacy for you prescriptions. As soon as our insurance allows us to go somewhere else we will never go to a Walgreens again. If possible i would give them a minus 5 star review

It appears that the drive through line take precedence, which can be very off putting when you are in line (inside) but you have to wait for the 2+cars that pull up after you've been waiting. I have had situations where my prescription was filled and no one called to inform me. Or, they say a prescription will be ready in 30min and it isn't. The pharmacy leaves (sometimes) a lot to be desired in terms of customer service. There have been many instances where I needed medication and I was told that it would be several hours to, make it, but it's a pain med and all the person needed to do was pull the big bottle and put my prescribed amount in a little bottle. They have GREAT sales and coupons. The staff members are generally helpful and friendly. The store can sometimes be messy. Staff often restocks during the day which creates undo clutter.

Please work harder to get help that can at least say hi to your customers--it's not a big thing, really. Until things change, file under Rat hole. Horrible. Avoid!!
