Prices, food, and service are great. We've gone here for years, and they are so nice to kids, too…read more If you have a large order they throw in a big chocolate bar. They have many fresh, local breads you can't get anywhere else, unless you drove all around. The hot food is good but the cold salads and soups are fantastic. Each week it is different- they don't make huge amounts of things to sit around. They make fresh blintzes. I stock up on frozen perogies that are not available at supermarkets, like mushroom. Last time we tried fresh plum perogies, which was not our favorite, but it was fun to try! The special European treats are fun, too, especially around holidays. They have the "real" kinder eggs, fancy wrapped candies, and drinks. The fresh-delivered pastries, like poppy seed breads, are amazing. Our family doesn't even eat much meat- they have plenty of it available here!- but we love the vegetable offerings, the special yogurts and cheeses, like really good swiss, and the condiments. Overall, this is a good spot for unique flavors, high quality, buying large or small quantities, and kind interactions.

The owner is very gracious and friendly. Her elderly mother is the pharmacist, still going strong and working diligently. I had a wonderful time browsing and chatting with the owner about her beautiful parakeet (or could be a cockatiel, I forget), the history of the pharmacy (apparently it's one of the oldest in the state), and pretty much anything and everything. I finally decided on a tiger plushie for my friend, and when I told her it was a birthday present for a friend, she (for FREE, mind you), boxed the plush, wrapped the present in gorgeous, purple paisley wrapping paper, and tied red and blue ribbons in elaborate bows in the center. I was truly stunned! I forget her name, but the owner is truly a wonderful lady. She was very humble and apologized for the gift shop being "sparse" (it seemed very well stocked to me) and suggested that I come back around Christmas because she said she goes all out and decorates lavishly for the holidays. I'm kicking myself for not going back, but I do intend to return and shop there someday. I highly recommend this place for someone looking for good, old-fashioned customer service with a smile and a nice assortment of gifts.

Great experience getting a Christmas tree here, even on the fairly busy weekend…read more They've got their process locked down - directing you to a parking space, picking a tree, then ticketing it, paying and getting in line to get it tied down. They had some beautiful trees - ours ended up being $100 for around 7.5 ft, which seemed reasonable. We stopped by the concessions to grab a quick bite. The mini donuts were warm and flavorful, as was the hot chocolate. The hot dogs were boiled, which was fine. We sat near the fire pit to keep warm. For 3 people it cost $40. Then we popped by the hay ride with Santa. Santa was so warm and friendly to our little one, and the ride was fun, with Christmas music playing and a bunch of pretty neat holiday themed dioramas around the property. It was a blast! After that, we hopped back in the car, and drove up to get the tree tied down. It was a super quick and easy process, and we were done in 5 mins. Great spot, will definitely be coming back annually.

From entrance to exit we had a wonderful experience, especially with the staff!! Santa was great, the elves and our driver for the hayride all deserve shout outs. At one point, we had to stop the ride bc a tractor ahead of us had a flat tire and there was also a coyote spotted. He communicated and didn't ensue panic. He got us back up and running in no time!
