This small 3 acre cemetery is the resting place of most of the town of Weir's past residents. It sits less than 2 miles outside the small community of Weir surrounded by farmland. Towards the back of the cemetery next to the flag pole, you'll find a Texas historical sign with more information. Normally a cemetery is ringed by a chain-link fence, but this one sits directly on the edge of County Road 120. The cemetery itself shows little in the way of signs of visitation, but there are some recent interments here. Apart from the traffic on County Road 120, it's a fairly peaceful place. There's still some room available towards the back of the cemetery. 10 photos included for your consideration. read more
