Just outside the small town of Jonah sits this small 2 acre cemetery, just off of busy Highway 29. There is no parking lot so you'll have to park directly on the side of the road to gain access. The cemetery is well-maintained and has several designated family plots. This is still an active graveyard for the local residents of Jonah and the latest interment was from 2022. Despite many of the residents in this cemetery being born in the 1800s, everyone here was buried here after 1902. There still appears to be enough room for another 50 graves. The most prominent locally well known name that I found here is Gattis. Moody and Threadgill were a couple of other familiar names.
