I had several GFCI's installed (in front of the house and in the kitchen), as well as running permanent wiring for an electric garage door opener, and rectifying an improper electrical installation (by previous owner) of the washer/dryer. I also asked my wife to find out how much adding an outlet to the back deck would cost, as this wasn't on the original estimate (I hadn't noticed there wasn't an outlet out there until the day we moved in). Not only did they arrive on time, and do all the quoted work quickly and efficiently, but when my wife asked them about the extra outlet, they said that since it was our first home, and they were already running wires near that area (for the washer/dryer) they'd throw it in for free! I can't recommend them enough. As a new homeowner I consider finding a trustworthy contractor a rare thing. So I actually asked them for references for other contractors when the HVAC contractor didn't show up , and they were able to give me a great referral that showed up same-day and completed the work for half what the no-show contractor had quoted us.

Replace the combo breaker & fuse box with a proper service panel 2. Rewire the lower level garage inside lighting, replacing the switches and power outlets with new hardware 3. Install a second light switch on the lower level for the flood lights outside the garage. 4. Replace a 4-way light switch in the house with an in-the-wall programmable timer. The 'before' pictures are from 2022 when I decided there was a problem. You can see what Dan and his assistant had to start with. I am pleased with the results displayed in the 'after' pictures. Re-engaging with this business after an initially positive outcome installing a video doorbell was a serious and expensive mistake. While the electrician that was dispatched was professional and completed the work, the inability to price services in line with the competition is compounded by an arbitrary total that is placed on the bill. An alternative local provider charges $110 for the installation of a ceiling fan. In comparison, Northern Electrical, LLC will charge you $195 just to "roll a truck" and refuses to acknowledge that they're not the only business servicing applicable areas. If you think ~$410 is a fair rate for 90 minutes of labor to install a ceiling fan (prior fixture was already removed), a light switch and two outlets (which I was told I should have paid more because they didn't get to supply the parts and mark them up), then you may need an Economy 101 class to optimize your finances. Steer clear of Northern Electrical, LLC unless you like wasting money on overpriced services and non-itemized billing rates.
