I have been dealing with the billing office for over 6 months and still do not have my bill…read moreresolved. They did a pre-authorization (which took 2 months) and then had me pay prior to my surgery. I found this odd, but did it anyways. The office then scheduled my surgery for a date when the Dr was out of the office and made me reschedule. After my surgery, I was still sent a bill for the entire remaining amount with no money paid by insurance and no further explanation. I contacted OSMichiana about this issue and they stated that my Dental insurance would not pay because i needed to inform my insurance co that there was "no other dental insurance" (incorrect). My dental insurance co stated that OSMichiana needed to submit MEDICAL insurance (not dental) first. This is standard practice for dental work. I directed OSMichiana to file this claim with medical insurance. OSMichiana contacted me approximately 2 months later stating that my bill was still delinquent. When I contacted my insurance company (again) they stated that OSMichiana had sent them the insurance claim only one week ago (OSMichiana waited 6 weeks to submit the claim after I directed them to submit it). 1 week later, I sent OSMichiana my medical insurance EOB via email as they had requested. 2 months later, OSMichiana contacted me stating that my bill still was not settled and they were "going to send my account to collections". I informed them that I'd had no communications from them for 2 months. OSMichiana told me that they had mailed me 3 bills (false). OSMichiana asked for my email address (which I had already provided to them numerous times) and emailed my bill to me. The balance is still more than $1,000. Now I am going to have to contact my dental insurance company (again) to make sure that the billing is correct. I definitely do NOT trust the billing office at OSMichiana. They seem to follow a pattern. 1) incompetence 2) laziness 3) threatening phone calls 4) repeat The good news, the surgery was great. No complaints at all.

I cracked a tooth the day before a golf trip, and he personally scheduled me for an extraction that day so I could continue on the trip. As scary as a tooth extraction is, he made it painless and very easy. I golfed the next day without a hitch and needed nothing more than just a few Tylenol. Nobody likes to have something like this done,, but if you must, he is the doctor to see. I couldn't rate him any higher and give him my highest personal recommendation.

But since it has been taken over by Elite Dental it has gone completely down hill. They charged our HSA account the full amount for a procedure my wife had done. Then they billed our insurance company for the full amount as well. We have been trying to get the HAS card credited for the difference of $802.00 since April. They are not contesting the error they just aren't posting the credit. We've had multiple conversations with them and they have committed to getting us the credit but they still have not done so. Obviously we have left them and found a new dentist. We have taken the matter up with the Better Business Bureau, our Insurance Company, and the fraud department of our HSA. These are not honest people.

I waited to be fitted in for about 90 minutes. They took the circular x-ray, and couple of others once in the chair. They went over what had to be done. They were kind, sympathetic, and the tech even let me squeeze her hand as the tooth was bring pulled. The crack was long and deep as the x-ray showed. I am so impressed that the kids are seen at appointment time, in and out with a cleaning and the Dentist was present & on time. Not Dr. Kilgore..she checks EVERYTHING to make sure all is currently well with my children and also goes over preventative care that should be done. We saw her today and I've never been so pleased to see what an amazing job she does. She is someone who genuinely cares about her patients. I've never seen her without a smile on her face nor have I ever met a Dr that will take as much time needed to explain things to the children, as well as their parents. She remembers us every time we step foot into the office and makes us feel so comfortable. My son ADORES her. He loves seeing his favorite Dr, as he would say. She sits down, chats with him about school or what's new in his life. I couldn't be more grateful to have her as a dentist for my son. She always asks how I'm doing and always offers a helping hand. It means so much to myself and my son. There need to be more doctors and people like her in general. She is a genuine kind hearted person. Not to mention our hygienist is so sweet and is someone who is very experienced. We have her every time we are in and absolutely love her and what a wonderful job she's done. If you're thinking about taking your little ones to the dentist and you want your child to have a staff that is so kind and compassionate, then this is definitely the place to go.
