They clearly have regulars, as you'd think they have their own personal fan club. People joking and speaking with them, addressed by name. I love environments like this! Make a point of telling these hard-working staff how appreciated they are! It makes a huge difference in the experience. Reasons for star reduction? No curbside option like the Bearden location, deep potholes making turned over carts blocking spots in the lot, and often picked over/out-of-stock items that I can find quickly at other locations. As for the must-try items at Aldi? We love: -100% whole wheat bread -mini rasisin bagels -Hawaiian rolls -Apple Streusel bread (holy YUM!) -Chocolate Chip brioche loaf (great for french toast) -zucchini/squash -peppers -bags of apples -Parm couscous -salmon (much fresher than grocery or big box stores) -family chicken breasts -deli ham (comes in 2 sealed packs, so lasts longer) -hummus -cheeses! goat, unique cheddars, fondue, string -french onion dip (like the yummy old Dean's variety that has been altered in recent years) -Dairy staples-milk, almond milk, plain greek yogurt (in place of sour cream for us), half-and-half -Parm crisps -Garlic Herb Goat Cheese Risotto (Fall seasonal) -Asiago Cheddar crisps(Winter seasonal and amazing) -Nuts (cashews are yummy and a great deal here!)

I have been a lotal customer since 1989. It seems that the decline accelerated post covid. The final straw occured today (Jun 13, 2026). My $300 order included a fair amount of perishables. My order was too large to use self-checkout. So I got in line with the only one that had a cashier. The line went up an aisle. Overall I was in line for 15 minutes. When, a second cashier opened the people in the back of the line got in the new line. The cashier should have come over and selected the next people in line. I went to the office to complain but the manager never showed up. Goodby Krogers hello Food City.

This review concerns the Kroger Pharmacy. I just went to pick up a new prescription my doctor…read morecalled in for 90 tablets per refill. The pharmacy gave me 30 tablets at a cost of $34.04. They based the cost on an old prescription for the same medicine which is due to expire. I had a coupon for 90 tablets (3 times more tablets than I received) that would have cost $46. Because the pharmacy did not fill the new prescription, I received fewer tablets at double the cost of what I would have paid if they had used the new prescription instead of the old one. Not only did I not get the correct amount of tablets, I also paid twice the amount I should have paid. They would not take the pills back and correct their mistake because I did not see that they had messed up until after I left the prescription pick-up counter. Furious!

IGA advertises that they are cheap and that they are affordable, but every time that I have been there, it seems that the prices are a little bit more than where you would find at other stores. I think the reason that this place would appeal to me most is because of the simplicity and the convenience for me as this is the closest grocery on the East side of town. I think the best place to shop, for me at least, is Aldi's and I guess I'll go there instead because the green leaf lettuce there is fresher and will not go bad as quickly as the $4 lettuce that I bought at IGA.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience ordering a wedding cake from the Publix University…read morestore. I paid for the cake on July 21 and specifically verified that it would be delivered to our wedding venue at 3:00 PM. I even had the bakery double-check the order, and I was assured 100% that everything was set. When the cake hadn't arrived by around 4:00-4:30 PM, we had to start calling to find out what had happened. We were then told that someone had supposedly called on the 18th and changed the order to an 8:00 AM pickup. That explanation made no sense, considering I didn't even finalize and pay for the order until July 21. How could someone have changed an order before it was even completed? What was even more frustrating was that if the bakery truly believed the cake was supposed to be picked up at 8:00 AM and no one arrived, why didn't anyone call the contact numbers on the order? Instead, no one reached out, and we were left scrambling with only about 30 minutes before guests arrived, wondering if our wedding cake would make it to the venue. We were even told they weren't sure if they could get it there in time. As for the cake itself, the decorations were beautiful, and I do appreciate the decorator's work. Unfortunately, the cake was noticeably lopsided, and the cake itself was dry, especially considering the price we paid. It simply was not worth the cost. Mistakes can happen, but this was a wedding--an event that can't be redone. The lack of communication, the confusion surrounding the order, and the stress this caused on such an important day were unacceptable. I sincerely hope Publix reviews its procedures so that no other couple has to experience this on their wedding day.

The former freshly in-store-made pie now is previously frozen with a lot fewer ingredients. Even the cooking time has changed -- a lower temperature with a longer oven time. I popped the "new" pizza in the freezer a week ago with plans to eat it later. This evening I thawed the vegetarian version and baked it and attempted to eat it. The pizza lacked flavor and the green and red peppers seemed as though they had been dehydrated before being scattered on top. What a disappointment. The market does offer fresh, hot pizza for a higher price, yet no more bargain pizza that enticed me to shop there on Thursdays and buy a cart full of other food.
