One of them said it's on four or five. The other one said it's on aisle eight. I started to go and then thought forget it I'm disabled and my body was hurting. I turned around and went to another checkout line, and those guys saw me and they were still doing nothing but talking. I told the guy in the girl that were working my lane neither one of them considered my need. Whenever I ask somebody in Kroger where something is, they stop what they're doing, look it up and then take me to it. A good reason to go elsewhere.

Told about the company policy of "4 in line WE WILL OPEN A LINE." Her reply " well you can always do self-check-out. We had a full buggy load of groceries, ask to speak to the store manager. Said she will called, NO RESONSE, so I asked for the manager a second time, NO RESPONSE. The entire time there was two workers standing around the self-check out looking around. If I didn't need the items in my buggy, I would have left it sitting for the two at the front something to do. We have been shopping at Food City for 15-16 years. When I got home I called to ask to the store Manager Matt- 18 minutes on hold. Response "Do what we can to work on it- sorry about that." LAST VISIT TO FOOD CITY--Krogers is about a mile away and cheaper on the majority items with coupons.

They clearly have regulars, as you'd think they have their own personal fan club. People joking and speaking with them, addressed by name. I love environments like this! Make a point of telling these hard-working staff how appreciated they are! It makes a huge difference in the experience. Reasons for star reduction? No curbside option like the Bearden location, deep potholes making turned over carts blocking spots in the lot, and often picked over/out-of-stock items that I can find quickly at other locations. As for the must-try items at Aldi? We love: -100% whole wheat bread -mini rasisin bagels -Hawaiian rolls -Apple Streusel bread (holy YUM!) -Chocolate Chip brioche loaf (great for french toast) -zucchini/squash -peppers -bags of apples -Parm couscous -salmon (much fresher than grocery or big box stores) -family chicken breasts -deli ham (comes in 2 sealed packs, so lasts longer) -hummus -cheeses! goat, unique cheddars, fondue, string -french onion dip (like the yummy old Dean's variety that has been altered in recent years) -Dairy staples-milk, almond milk, plain greek yogurt (in place of sour cream for us), half-and-half -Parm crisps -Garlic Herb Goat Cheese Risotto (Fall seasonal) -Asiago Cheddar crisps(Winter seasonal and amazing) -Nuts (cashews are yummy and a great deal here!)

You CAN always have them write on pre-baked/available items in the bakery day-of, too. Check-out is easy here, service is friendly (except at the meat/butcher counter), and the produce is always fresh with a wide variety. I love going on Saturday mornings when the sushi chefs are making sushi. They will make one fresh for you! They have a great variety of wines. Overall, we really like this location.

I have been a lotal customer since 1989. It seems that the decline accelerated post covid. The final straw occured today (Jun 13, 2026). My $300 order included a fair amount of perishables. My order was too large to use self-checkout. So I got in line with the only one that had a cashier. The line went up an aisle. Overall I was in line for 15 minutes. When, a second cashier opened the people in the back of the line got in the new line. The cashier should have come over and selected the next people in line. I went to the office to complain but the manager never showed up. Goodby Krogers hello Food City.

Teriyaki bowl was fresh, hot, and good! Probably the best I have had at a Whole Foods in quite some time. Parking was ample at this location and boy did they need it when I visited. It's kind of hard to see from the interstate. So don't miss pulling off here if you are in town..

Pushy people at the check out line acting like I was in there way - even though my transaction was not completed yet and I was trying to get my bags. And the in a rush young people fulfilling Amazon Orders for Prime or trying to stock the shelves - I can't tell you how many times I have been treated as is I was an impediment to what they are trying to do even though I am a paying customer trying to navigate my way through the store. it gets to me sometimes. There are too many people trying to shop in this store for the size of it. Too many people "In a Rush" to get on with their lives. I do feel like I am back up in the North East sometimes when I go there. The best times to shop are during Tennessee Game Days or on a Tuesday night of all things. I go there because they do have things that other markets in the area do not have - fruits, vegetables, organic products. I do like the fish market guys. I do like certain cashiers and try to always go to them. I do like being able to find certain products there that I cannot find anywhere else - . I do like their supplements. There are things I do like. But the whole Prime thing (order fufillment) has put a huge black mark by the shopping experience. They really need to train their restocking people to be mindful of the customers and to be a little nicer while they do it. But between trying not to get run over in the parking lot when I am trying to get into the store and not getting run over while I am in the store by the oh so many busy people in there, it has gotten to where my stress levels goes straight up when I shop there. What I will do is try to go during off hours, and I do try to do that. But this is a pattern. My opinion is that for the amount of customers they have and the amount of order fufilment they do - the store probably needs to be twice as big as it is. I gave them three stars - but like I said - it is always a stressful experience for me.
