There were many belabored emails that just went in circles, offering no resolution and no apology. Two tenants moved out while NLR was managing the property and there were damages unfixed and no deposit credited. For example, after the first tenant moved out we were told to get the carpet professionally cleaned, then replaced altogether in order to rent. The repairs department was the exception, especially the new manager. He stayed on top of the jobs, and communicated before and after.

Bottom line the icemaker has not been fixed. The realtor stated that she does not believe that the owner would want to spend the money to replace it. Further, she said that the owner was returning to the area on October 1 and she will be bringing a refrigerator filter with her...the brand filter may solve the problem. I have to wonder if a filter might be purchased here at Lowe's or Home Depot. This, and other matters I've experienced since before and after moving into the unit, makes me think that this management company is unprofessional.

The furnace died in a fireball (maintenance guy who was working on it let us know.) Anytime something went wrong they were there, being proactive always. Even now I think back on how nice everything was with them. My new home while it's amazing to own a house there's a LOT more responsibility to it. When I first moved in I had explained to the staff here that I wanted to get ready for owning my own home and they were super supportive. Whenever we did inspects I always got tips. They LOVE animals, and even made a special exemption for one of our babies that we rescued. I cannot thank them enough for all that they've done for my family and I. I just saw the deposit refund. I had incredible amounts of trouble moving, and even still the new house isn't set up well enough. 2 Days ago the sewer backed up into our basement... Carpeted... basement... @.@. The point is that they were INCREDIBLY generous with the deposit refund, they could have easily claimed a bunch more items for repair and yet they didn't. I couldn't have asked for someone better, and 10/10 would ABSOLUTELY rent from them again!
