Very good food. It's one of those places kept secret by the locals. Amazing chicken fried chicken. It was cooked perfectly with a crisper but light batter and a hot and juicy piece of perfectly cooked chicken breast. The potatoes were great, and the fried okra was crispy. oct 5th 2013 The three star rating is fro being so small, burgers being small and an extra meat for burger is unreasonable We happened upon this small place by chance although not really a great experience not bad either We get a menu and it says burger and chips with pickle slices I have a hard time understanding why you would get a burger and extra pickles on the side but that is just an opinion We ordered the burger and chips mine with no pickle on the side and we both wanted fries. For some reason this stumps them. You do not get the chips and pickles if you order fries even though they are part of the order. You pay for them just don't get them The burger is really good but feel it is on the small side but for the money it is right. I would rather pay a little more for a bigger burger You can order a double meat but felt 1.75 for an extra piece of meat is unreasonable I will say we will go back .Next time it will be the chicken fried steak as it looked really good and noticed a lot of people getting that Must add if you are like the wife and I and love to travel back roads then do it in a Miata We are in our 60's .I have always driven a pickup but do enjoy this little car with the top down. Omg this place is SO GOOD. You have to go yourself, but I would recommend either a cheese burger or a chicken fried steak. That's the best. They also have desserts like a personal funnel cake, which is so good, and candy. There sweet tea is wonderful there service is so excellent. It's not even that expensive for what you get. Good inexpensive place for some comfort food. Been going to Weezy's for some time now when we visit and always good.

I love this place's atmosphere. It honors all the local sports teams and schools. The best thing to eat here is the chicken fried steak, the thing that I like most is the fact that they make a large or small chicken fried, that way I don't have so much left over. I had heard that the steaks were great, but they didn't impress me too much when I tried them. The burgers are pretty good, the Cheezy Weezy is my absolute favorite. Haven't tried much of their desserts, but I have tried their fried pies, and they were pretty good, (not as good as my dad's though). Overall a great place to sit down and have a meal, some pretty good home-cooked entrees and a great staff! read more

My wife, daughter, and I, were out for a day of junk shopping. We live in North Dallas and were passing through Blossom when we decided to stop and eat. We saw Weezy's and dedided to give it a try instead of driving on into Paris. When we parked, we saw a sign that said "voted best chicken fried steak". I was skeptical to say the least. Many have claimed to be the best, few have earned that distinction. Weezy's is the best of those few. I ordered the small, and recieve what most would call large. It was tender, well cooked, and covered with a good, thick gravy. My wife ordered the chicken breast, and my daughter ordered the "Angry Bird on a Bun". Both of those were thick and tender. The pinto beans were properly cooked and seasoned. The service is also top notch. Our server was fast, friendly, made sure our order was correct, and checked to see if we needed drink refills. She was efficient without being intrusive. Go out of your way to eat here, it's well worth the trip. Update 2/4/17 We were passing through Paris and made a side trip to Weezy's for a couple of Chicken Fried Steaks. It was a mistake. The service is still top notch, sadly the food is now bottom rung. My wife's CFS was burnt, mine was mostly gristle. Both had shrunk badly and we had to carve through a lot of batter to find the meat. This time, the pinto beans were bland. No spices, almost no flavor. To top it off, one of the servers stopped for lunch. Partly through her burger, she called over another server and pointed to something inside. It disappeared after that. I recommend this restaurant. My party of 15 people had an excellent Saturday meal. Our drinks were quickly placed and filled. Our meal orders were quickly prepared. I had the large chicken fried steak and gravy with okra and French fries. You know the food is going to be good when you cut into that chicken fried steak and you hear the crunch of the crust being cut. I also took home a double cheeseburger with fries that I ate the next morning. I recommend the double cheeseburger. read more

My mother lives just behind this establishment and I'll admit that, yes, I come to visit her more often because that happens to be the case. I never miss the chance to head over to Weezy's for a chicken fried steak when I'm in town... just make sure you order an extra side of gravy with it for your fries!
