So this company is TERRIBLE and I've never hired them. I just get the misfortune of 10+ calls every week from them and I've never used them and I'm on the do not call list and I googled weed man spam calls and WOW tons of people reporting the same thing. Not sure what their deal is but they are illegally ignoring the do not call list (which technically you could sue them for) and they call non stop and I have no interest in every hiring them and going by all the recent 1-2 star reviews seems like the few people that do hire them are disapointed. So guess that's why they need to constantly call to try and get new customers since the people that hire them hate them so much. My suggestion is AVOID THIS COMPANY at all costs. I can't even start to tell you how. disappointed I am with their service. Their follow-up to my complaints was even worse. I signed up for the 4 step weed control and fertilization program. They did both the first 2 steps, weed control and fertilization the same morning before 7am. I sent them pictures of so bald spots on my yard with no signs of fertilizer . I have been fertilizing my own yard for forty years with a drop spreader per the manufacturers instructions so I know what the pattern should look like. They sent their 'expert' out who told me it looked fine even though their was no evidence of granules on a couple of bald spots on my yard. I used weed man for 2019-2020 for my weed control services. I paid $84.50 per application and after COVID hit the services took a nose dive. There was zero communication with anyone coming to my house. Which I get it it's COVID no one wants to be around anyone. But I would watch the application being put down since everyone is working from home. The application was so fast and spaced out between rows of the weed killer chemicals. I didn't see much spot treatment going on at all. It was a zip in and zip out process for $85 a time. My nice irrigated and mowed lawn with no pets started to grow all kinds of weeds. I would call about it and they would tell me well your next application is coming up or well it was just applied so it's going to take a bit for the weeds to die. About every week or two I would go out into my yard with a box and my hand weed puller and take out a whole box of weeds by hand. Which is freaking ridiculous after I pay $85 for an application. What really irritated me is my last bill dated November 3. They applied two different treatments at $85 apiece totaling $169 One of which was a fall treatment and one of which was a winter treatment. Been dinged two charges in one visit feels like a slap in the face to a customer. I did fill out some sort of satisfaction survey that I was emailed a while back and someone did reach out to me and left me a voicemail. I did not call them back I'm not sure what I expect them to do in the winter after reading my submitted review. I've already received the services and paid for them. If a weed man an employee is reading this directly, please comment below with what you're willing to do for me, i've noticed you just comment with your phone number on all the other negative reviews for the customer to reach out. I did happen to take a photo of one of the boxes of weeds I pulled this summer. What really sparked me to write this review is the fact that I just received an email from them saying that "If you would like to make any modifications or additions to your program, please let us know. Otherwise, we plan on performing the attached schedule of services" and their service now costs $99 per application!! I totally get it there are price increases every year as product goes up. But I guess I need to call and cancel my services for 2021. read more

Prepaid the entire year, had to call to get them out here in the spring & then again we were forgotten - 2nd & 3rd service done 2 days apart in May. Hadn't seen them in 3 months - called again a few days ago - were told they will come & put our Early Summer treatment on - I wonder if they live in another country - it's almost fall here!!! read more

I have used Weedman for two years now and feel they don't live up to their end of the contract. The first year, they applied fertilizer and weed killer to address my yard's problems. I was optimistic. Come fall, my yard didn't look any different after spending 5 treatments at $67 each. They said this was all to get the yard ready for next year. Come spring when I was to receive my first Pre-emergent treatment, they didn't show up till well into June when everything I have read was to put down the pre-emergent when the ground was consistently 50 degrees or warmer. They have since applied two more fertilizer treatments but haven't addressed the weeds. I have called specifically to have a technician come out and speak with me about it but to find out he came, applied more fertilizer, and left without a discussion. I then contacted the company to speak with a manager and he has yet to get back to me and it has been over a week. I also question on how thorough they are in applying their chemicals. I watched as a technician randomly sprayed my yard, missing half of it to safe time. I would urge you to look for alternative weed control companies that do what they say they will do. I decided to fertilize and handle my lawn myself in 2016 and one day I came home from work and their sign was in my yard. I never signed up for two summers, I didn't sign a long term contract and they never asked if I wanted their services in 2016. Now they've sent a $150 bill to collections. This is our second season with Weed Man and we really like them. Very affordable, and good service. Our yard is looking great, and their applications are pet safe once they dry. They always leave good tips about how to fix up any spots when they come out and they list what they did and what they used on the lawn. read more

I used Weed Man service out of Eagan,mn. They applied weed killer and many of the weeds were missed. They left a note telling me they would come back, if the weeds were still a problem. When I called the owner he told me they only come back, if I purchase there season package. Don't hire this operation...they don't stand behind there work! read more

I was disappointed with Weed Man. I called them and they came out about 1 1/2 weeks later. Then left a note saying they could not treat the lawn since the dog was out. One problem. The dog was in the fenced in backyard which wasn't to be treated. I called to reschedule. They came out a week later and I found the same note about my dog. I canceled the service. My family member referred me too Weed Man a couple years back and I am glad they did. They killed my creeping charlie from my neighbors house and you can actually tell where our yard stops and the neighbors begins.
