Vineland was fully professional and removed one of the largest multi-stem boxelder trees one has ever seen in an urban backyard, with no harm to our other trees and minimal impact on our garden. They achieved this by using a new, 6-ft wide, 6-ft tall, "spider-leg" (small-profile) bucket lift in our fenced backyard, along with a large crane in our frontyard. They also expertly removed a large Norway Maple from our front yard, using a more-traditional large bucket truck and crane. Although they were recommended to us by an independently-hired Master Arborist consultant on our trees' health (who was the one who let us know our beloved 80+ year old huge trees had become hazardous given prior growth constraints), we've also worked with Vineland in the past for conventional pruning, and will work with them again in the future. I had half of a tree fall down due to storm damage right before the 4th of July. I called a few places who were full, or just didn't get back to me. Seamus and his team were the only people who got back to me, and they communicated extremely well. He called me multiple times to give me estimates and confirm appointments. The crew came today and completely took down my huge tree within two and a half hours, and cleaned up everything SO nicely. They even did some kind, simple things for me- it was garbage day and the lid of my trash bin was open, and one of them closed it for me. They also whacked down a huge weed on the curb that my lawn mower couldn't get. I really appreciated these small acts, in addition to their huge help with my problematic tree. We needed a tree removed and had been putting off the whole process. We saw the Vineland crew working in a neighbor's yard and couldn't help but notice the speed and efficiency with which they worked. The equipment they used was amazing and well maintained. This was obviously a professional crew who know what they were doing. They cut down one huge tree, trimmed 2 others and left our yard (and street) SPOTLESS. All in the space of 3 hours. There are companies online that list tree removal for less, but if you take the time to look at the details, those companies will nickel and dime you to death. (Tree removal? Extra. Stump grinding? On Time, worked hard and efficiently. We had an unusual access situation. They carefully maneuvered the lift and respected our property. They had to personally carry out many big logs and brush up an incline ~200' to their truck. I had a major tree come down in a storm. Seamus was knowledgeable; he explained my options and reasons for certain costs so that I really understood what was needed to minimize what proved to be a dangerous situation. They did a great job of getting the job done quickly and were attentive to details like clean-up even though they were really busy in the aftermath of the storm. And, he went above and beyond to work with my neighbor's insurance company to make sure I wasn't paying out of pocket for things that could be appropriately covered in insurance claims. Excellent service. When I had a tree trunk split in two and fall on my entire front yard, an arborist came out to give me an estimate with an hour. He was informative and didn't pressure me to make on-the-spot decisions. When I decided to remove only the part of the tree that had fallen, a crew with top notch equipment was at my house within a few minutes to remove the fallen tree. They were very careful to save and restore a smaller tree that was directly in the path of the tree that fell. Everyone from my initial call to the work crew was polite and professional. I contacted Vineland to see about care for my mature ash tree. The tree had grown all over the dang place, dragging on the roof, over the sidewalk, and completely covering the corner signs. I also asked them to quote for providing EAB treatment for the tree. Vineland was quick to respond, not only to my initial request, but also all following e-mails, even responding on the weekends and evenings to questions that came up. The prices they quoted were in line with competitors I also contacted - a little higher for the EAB treatment, a little lower for the pruning. All in all, I'm really happy with the service and courtesy, and am quite okay with the investment in our trees! read more

Vineland Tree Care did an amazing job! They arrived at the scheduled time on the scheduled day for tree removal, took down the tree with care, and cleaned up all of the branches and twigs. We have a front yard garden and they did not injure any of the perennial plantings (incredible since the tree sat at the back of the bed). The crew manager let us know they had arrived and made sure to ask if we had any concerns. We had a large ash tree which was unusually hard to remove due to its location on a slope in a wooded area of our yard. Vineland checked with me before taking out any of the brush in their way and was careful not to damage surrounding vegetation we wanted to save.
