Despite multiple follow-ups since then, I still have not received the refund or a clear explanation for the delay. I'm not asking for anything unreasonable--I'm simply asking for the money he already agreed to return. My biggest concern is the lack of follow-through and professionalism. I understand that unforeseen equipment issues can happen, but making commitments to a customer and then not following through--and later promising a refund without actually issuing it--has left me very disappointed.

When things had settled down a bit, Matt's and another company were the first to give me quotes.. Matt gave me a quote that was less than half of what the other company had quoted. The tree was removed safely and quickly, and they cleaned up their mess. Matt was also kind enough to work with me on my payment, as i was still waiting for insurance to pay me.
