I live behind the daycare and I run daily. Recently when I pass by I constantly hear children crying and a teacher yelling to be quiet and eat. They are usually having lunch during my run. Due to the hot weather last week I took my run in the evening. One day I counted the kids and there were 30 kids and 1 adult on the play yard. On Friday I called DPSS and they said those numbers are not legal. I hope the investigation goes well and I was wrong about the number of adults. read more

We love Wee Care! This was the very first daycare center my daughter attended as an infant. Because of convenience, I switched her out when she was around 2 years old but now we are back for Preschool! All of the teachers are amazing and so loving and nurturing towards the children. My daughter thrives here and is happy to go to school every single day. Even on the weekend she asks me to take her to school. I highly recommend this school/daycare to anyone! read more

My girlfriend took her kids to this place for 2 years while they were in preschool and kindergarten. I would pick them up sometimes. The teacher would always ask for my ID and then literally walk me to get the boys in each class. She collected all the things they brought in for that day so I wouldn't get yelled at by my girlfriend for forgetting stuff. Now we have a baby and the plan is to take her to Wee Care too. The teachers are very nice. I live across the street from the center, I can see this place from my office window. So it's really convenient. Lastly, I asked the Creekside security guard if they have ever seen any weird stuff going on there and he said no but the director and him have each other's cell numbers in case of any emergency. 100% recommend you check them out. read more

To say the customer service, facility, and care here needs some work is putting it mildly. The owners and teachers seem to mean well, but need to reflect on the actual care provided. I believe a simple regrouping and consideration of the kids is required. There's so many inefficient practices here. Also, overall child safety and security need a re-evaluation. read more

My children have been going to Wee Care since the beginning of 2013 and I am pleased with the facility and the staff. Before this my children had never been in daycare/preschool. We tried Kindercare first and I was absolutely dissatisfied with the experience; all Kindercare wanted was money money money and they were VERY busy and inattentive. What I love about Wee Care is the teachers and teachers' assistants KNOW every child and ARE involved with each child, their attention is great. My two kids ages 3 and (almost) 5 LOVE going to school and they have learned so much this year. A few months ago I disenrolled them and opted to enroll them in a facility closer to home and let me tell you, it didnt work out! I ended up taking them back to Wee Care about a week later, no questions asked, no doubt about it, my kids love it. The facility itself isnt the BEST, the building/ameneities arent up to date or secure with a locked gate like Kindercare (I would like that very much) but overall, the staff is amazing and that is what matters when it comes to my children. Overall I would recommend this daycare/preschool! Shout out to Ms. Inuka, Ms. Rebecca, Ms. Kristal, and the new teachers and assistants for genuinely caring for my children and excellent communication. Good Pre-K teacher, knows how to work with children. Unfortunately, most of the staff and director do not seem to enjoy what they do or even seem to care much about the children. The atmosphere is not very friendly or welcoming for parents either. I am very disappointed this center did not work out for my child as I was hoping it would as it is conveniently located to home. We love Wee Care. My daughter has been going here since she was 1 and she is now 4. They do lots of special activities with the kids. My daughter has learned so much. I have no doubt that she will eventually go to kindergarten ahead of her class. My daughter has developed relationships with the teachers and director. The prices are reasonable. We appreciate the love and kindness that is shown to our daughter these first very important years of her life. read more

My family has had nothing but great experiences at Wee Care. The staff is great. The teachers had been there continuously throughout the time my son attended. The staff always had holiday parties for the kids, we were always invited to Tea with Mom's and Picnics with Dad's. The director is great. My son was at Wee Care the day the San Bernardino shooting occurred, I remember Ms. Ruby called me to tell me the school was on a lock down for the children's protection and they had the security guards and Ontario police patrolling the area. That made my husband and I feel at ease and safe that she would go that far to calm our nerves while we arrived. I have recommended many co-workers to Wee Care. It's awful that the other Yelpers have bad comments. read more

I do not recommend this facility to anyone - whether your child will attend part time or full time, please find a different facility. Prior to the change in ownership in 2013, I was quite fond of the school and the staff. My children thrived and were happy. The change in ownership, however, resulted in a change in approach and the caliber of staff only deteriorated. Teacher turnover is unacceptable with 4 teachers leaving over the course of 2014 in addition to consistent changes in teacher placement within the classrooms. The students were never given the chance to create relationships with their teachers as the teachers aren't placed in the classroom long enough. I had several discussions with the administrator and owner to address these concerns. The owner never seemed interested and was outright irritated I even brought them up. My final straw was when I walked in and personally witnessed a TEACHER MISTREATING two CHILDREN (verbally and physically). I addressed this with the owner, HOWEVER THE TEACHER IS STILL EMPLOYED WITH NO INTENT OF BEING LET GO. Protect your child. Do not bring them to this facility. It became very apparent that the teachers only look out for each other, and the owner has no interest in improving the facility, AND NO ONE IS LOOKING OUT FOR THE WELL BEING AND SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD. Look elsewhere. I urge you. read more

Our older son has been attending Wee Care for the past 2 years and our younger son has attended for the last year. We LOVE Wee Care. Our older son went through the infant room (our younger son is still there), 2 y/o room, 3 y/o room, and now he is moving into the Pre-K room. Every one of the teachers we meet there cares so deeply about our kids that we have the utmost faith in trusting them with the safety of our children. Wee Care is a safe, happy, well maintained, structured environment for our children, and we are so happy that our kids enjoy their time there as well. So happy we found this place! read more

It's unfortunate about the bad review but I can personally say for my children this is and will always be the best daycare center they have ever been to. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because it was very expensive but honestly it was worth the price. If I still lived in the area, I would be back there in a heart beat. My children never had any problems, never came home swearing or with bad behavior. In fact they learned very good manners. My youngest son found a passion in arts and crafts which they did every day. I really wish I could have them attend again. It was so good that we tried so hard to buy a house in the area just to have them continue going there. I highly recommend to anyone. read more

I was ready to enroll my 2 year old at this daycare center this past Fall. I went to see the facilities (very cute and cozy) and we were desperate to find a daycare close to our new home. I wanted to see the kids and the teachers in action so I requested to come and observe circle time. I decided to bring my toddler along too. When we arrived, the students were coming in from recess. A little boy was crying because he had seen his sister (from another classroom) and wanted to stay outside with her. The "teacher" put the child on a chair and let him cry for the ENTIRE time I observed. The teacher did not console him or talk to him. The other students in the classroom were quietly sitting--NONE were talking and NEITHER was the teacher. I am a preschool teacher so I sat by the toys and started to talk to my son and play with him as the classroom teacher quietly squirted paint. She then said, "I don't think we're going to be able to do circle time because he's crying." I wished she would have said, "Hey buddy! We're going to have circle time, do you want to sit on my lap??" I then asked her, "How long have you been working as a teacher?" She replied, "I just started! I used to work at the Home Depot and Verizon." Once she said that, I knew--this woman was in no way qualified to be the teacher of record in a preschool classroom. Maybe she had completed her "hours" or some sort of certificate but she was SO GREEN and you could tell she had no experience running a classroom. The other children in this classroom seemed very quiet--not talking to each other either. This place seems like a very cute school but I wish the directors would hire truly qualified teachers. The director was very nice and friendly, but I just couldn't put my son here. So bottom line is, I didn't place my child here JUST because of that teacher and my observations that day. read more

My son has been attending Wee Care for about 5 months now and it has been a great experience! He started out in the infant room because he wasn't 2 yrs old yet and he quickly grew attached to Miss Sarah and Miss Ruby. During this time in the infant room he surprisingly learned a lot! He was counting up to 10 in both Spanish and Korean. Most importantly I really felt that his teachers took good care of him and had a genuine bond with my son! He's now been in the 2 yr old class for a couple of weeks with Miss Doris and I can see he's continuing to learn (colors, shapes, numbers, days of the week, etc.) and grow everyday! All of the staff are very warm and friendly. Wee Care has been a great choice for my family and I am a picky mom when it comes to my little one! read more

My son has been attending Wee Care for about 6 months (since he was 16 months old). Being a first time mom, I was very nervous about sending him to daycare, and compared all the facilities in the area. We toured Wee Care and loved the staff and facility. My mom had reservations because of the negative Yelp reviews, but my husband and I felt confident that this was a good place for our son, and I'm so glad we made the decision we did! The teachers there really care about the kids; whenever we walk in or leave, teachers from other classrooms great my son by name. My son, after going through his separation anxiety phase, is happy to be dropped off, and is always happy when I pick him up. My mother, after visiting the center for herself, is now in love with it and the staff, and conceded that she's happy we chose Wee Care because it's such a wonderful place that really cares about the kids. read more

I have had my daughter at this school for a few months now and she loves it. I honestly can't relate to any of the bad reviews. I am very involved as a parent and my experience with the teachers has been excellent. They are very professional and make me feel confident when I drop Allie off that I am leaving her in good hands. Wee Care Learning Center has been the best choice my husband and I have ever made in terms of childcare. It is clear to me that each teacher at this site loves each child and works hard to help foster their social and academic development. As an educator myself, I was very picky about which daycare to choose from. I am so happy that Wee Care took my daughter in. The ladies at this facility are very focused on giving my daughter the individualized attention she needs. They have clear communication with me and we are always on the same page as far as her cognitive development goes. At 20 months, my daughter loves to sing, count, say the alphabet, and even read certain words thanks to the reinforcement she receives at Wee Care Learning Center. She does such a great job with being creative and keeping them interested. The kids love it here and always have something positive to say when they return home. I would not recommend this day care. In the begining everything seemed great. The staff was all friendly and made me feel comfortable leaving my 6 week old baby in the infant class. However, that changed. I cannot tell you how many teachers they went through in the infant class. Teachers were coming and going, left and right. If you asked where the teacher went, they wouldn't tell you. I took my son there for almost a year. At first he went full time, but then due to a change in my work schedule I was able to take him only part time. Every day I would be told that it was in "his best interest" to go back to full time??? After they realized I was not going to change that they decided they would need to start charging more and I might as well go back to full time day care?! The staff became very rude and aggressive. All I could think was, it was because they wanted to keep charging for full time care. Plus, all of a sudden they would write down the number of hours per week he was there wrong. Every single week, it was the same issue; they would have more hours written down than how long he had really gone. Shaddy people. read more

I am surprised there are no reviews for this year. I am a proud mom of a 2 year old handsome boy with autism. I have been through my share of private paying daycare centers, several babysitters and no support of family members. I can sincerely tell you the care of the children attending is genuine. I cannot believe the leap of progress my son has made since going to this learning center. Everything is structured and clean. When I walk in the classroom everything is decorated according to the seasons. They have a great director and she plans ahead. I am so thankful for this place. My son has blossomed. This is a learning center, its not just another babysitting business. The staff here is incredibly sweet and professional. This place used to be good when the director mrs.K ran the place. She made sure the employees followed the proper care for the kids. But sadly around October of 2013 she left and gave my gf inside info that she didn't like the changes that we're going to happen soon. Ever since then, we saw what she meant. The turnover of employees started to be frequent and that is a bad sign in any day care center. It means employees are being mistreated and unhappy and this usually trickles down to how the kids are treated. Within the last few weeks the turnover of workers have really increased. My 2yr old son has been showing signs of stress according to the pediatrician with him starting to bite the other children as a way for him to express his neglect. Over the last few weeks also he has been coming home dirty from playing outside meaning he wasn't being cleaned after play. A few times recently also he has been picked up with pampers full of pee and smelling like poop meaning he hasn't been changed. When mrs.K was there she made sure kids didn't go home dirty and diapers were changed before they left! I finally gave them my 2 weeks notice to remove my son and this was Monday of the last week of leaving him there and they had the nerve to suspend my son for three days for biting another kid on his last week. How convenient! Make me pay for a full week and then watch my son for only two. So what did I do? I pulled his belongings out and told the owner that this is his last day. I left a check for the prorated price for one day and she had the nerve to call me to tell me that the rate for one full day was $95 after he was there for only three hours before he was picked up! This shows the owner's agenda of just wanting the money and not caring about children! PARENTS BEWARE NOT TO SEND YOUR CHILD HERE WHEN THE EMPLOYEES RUN THE PLACE AND THERE IS NO MANAGEMENT TO OVERSEE WHAT GOES ON! The owner shows up supposedly for a few hours and leaves. Is this safe? YOUR CHILDREN ARE AT RISK PEOPLE. read more
