All teachers are wonderful and very patient and kind. Teacher Jerry, also the manager, is very understanding and knowledgeable. They even have a security guard at the door that's there (not always). My only feedback is that I wish the front doors were locked during most hours of the day, since anyone can just go in when doors are unlocked. Other than that, amazing place and hope to return one day. Thank you Heavenly Care!

My husband and I have flexible schedules and have showed up to pick up our kids and dropped them off at all different times throughout the day. Additionally this person with the 1-star review has a total of 14 reviews on yelp and 12 of them are 1-2 star reviews... it says a lot when you have terrible experiences everywhere you go.... I have a 4 year old daughter and a 2 yr old son. Both my kids have been at Heavenly Care since they were 3 months old. Today I had to give my notice to take them to another school because we are moving and I broke down crying. I love this place so much. If it wasn't so far from our new house I would have driven quite a bit out of the way to keep my kids here. In fact this place is currently a 15-20 min drive from my house and I gladly make the drive because my kids love it so much. I have known other parents who also drive pretty far to come here. Both of my kids excelled here. They did an amazing job helping to Potty train my daughter. By the time my kids were 18 months they could count to 10, sing their "ABCDs" (as my kids call it) and they knew all their shapes and colors. My 4 year old knows what a trapezoid and rumbus are... I didn't even know what a rumbus was until I saw my daughter teaching my 2 year old. Lol I can't say enough about this school. The teachers are all amazing. My kids still go back to the baby class and give hugs and say hi to the teachers in that class. My children formed serious bonds with these teachers. They talk about them at home and my kids have NEVER had a bad experience here. Even with my 2year old being a bit of a handful. These teachers truly care about my kids. They talk about their development and ask me questions about how we handle things at home or they give me advice as to what is working for them. They sing lots of songs, do lots of art, learn every day. At 2yrs and up they provide food. They are very accommodating of allergies or anything your kids need. My daughters best friends are at this school. I've even become close with the parents of the other kids and we go to birthday parties and have Disney play dates out side of school. I recommend this place 1,000 times over again for anyone looking for a preschool/daycare in the area.

After visiting 6 or 7 preschools, including other Kindercare schools, I chose Ontario Kindercare and have been pleased ever since. I selected this school because of the director, Miss Shauna. She is kind, understanding, patient and has high standards for the staff. So far, all of the teachers have been great to my child and I've always felt like they respected our feelings and valued our opinions. I feel safe leaving my child here and I'm grateful for the education the school provides. The tuition is pretty high, but they do provide assistance. Unfortunately (or should I say fortunately) we do not qualify for the fee reduction, however, I am willing to pay more because I know my child is being cared for and is learning. I do notice quite a bit of staff turnover but are some great teachers there like Miss Sylvia and Miss Matilda. As long as Miss Shauna is there I know my child is in good hands.

My son attended KinderCare Ontario, starting in the infant class and later moving into the toddler…read moreclass. In the infant room, I didn't have many major concerns, although I did notice issues with cleanliness at times, as my son frequently came home sick with hand, foot, and mouth disease or other viral infections. Once he transitioned into the toddler class, my concerns increased. The environment often felt unorganized, with one teacher responsible for what seemed like a large group of around 15 children. Around 5:00 PM, older children were sometimes combined with the toddlers, which made me uncomfortable. My son had several incident reports, but when I asked for details, staff were often unsure of what happened, and in some cases, incident reports were not properly documented. There was also an instance where my son injured his lip and it reportedly took about 30 minutes for him to receive an ice pack, which was very concerning. On another occasion, he came home with sticks in his diaper, and there was even a time he came home with a black eye. Overall, I felt the facility was understaffed and that management did not adequately address staffing levels relative to the number of children enrolled. While the teachers did provide activities for the children, it was difficult for them to maintain consistent supervision with so many children and limited staff. Based on my experience, I personally would not recommend this location.

I took her out because baby #2 came and I had the opportunity to be a stay at home. Once my second baby was old enough I enrolled her. Best decision ever! Updating my review and yes one star. -…read more So my issue was that I needed some sort of documentation for court to prove I was paying for this school. They told me they could do that for me any time I needed it, 3 months later I was told they don't do that (from the same person). Now I am currently in a custody case for my son and my ex brought a letter from Rainbow with exactly what I had requested for. They also included my sons fathers girlfriend in the paperwork, which I found very inappropriate since she isn't a parent... I was shocked to see any paperwork from Rainbow and pretty sad that they would work with my sons dad but not me. I'm overall disappointed but glad my son is no longer there. Carefully look over other reviews before you consider choosing this school, I am not the only parent that was disrespected by this place.

So I searched and searched and visited daycares. All of them either too pricy or sketchy, or just felt like a business. Not at all what you get at Gateway. The first moment I visited the site, I was greeted by Miss Stella, very assuring that my child would be safe in their care, she asked if I was looking for someone or looking for enrollment. I could feel the mother lion in her demeanor! I know my child would be in a very safe space, and a safe place it very much was. I could see how the staff, teachers and director would greet my son, and myself include after the first visit. The price here cannot be beat, and with that said, you can never put a price on the type of love and care they provide the children at Gateway Academy. Ms V and Ms O are my sons teachers at 1 yr old now, and I could never think of changing to another day care based on how I see they treat and teach my son here. It is a beautiful place for children to grow and assimilate into a social learning environment. Thank you Miss Stella for making a daycare feel like a second home for my son. I cannot recommend this place enough, if you have a newborn coming or currently looking for your toddler, look no further if you live in the area (or 30min away) because this is it.

My infant son (4 months) will be attending as well. Gateway has a great curriculum and they do so many fun activities. They provide lunch 3 times a week if you opt into that option. Your child will recieve homework in preschool and now my daughter is more than prepared for kindergarten. I wish I could shout out every teacher there bc they have all been there for my daughter in one way or another. She is always excited to tell me about her day. I always feel like the main concern is my daughter's safety. I know how hard it is to leave your baby in someone else's care and I truly recommend Gateway for that reason. The staff is extremely responsive especially when incidents occur, Im always in the loop with my child's behavior while she is there. Can't thank Ms Stella and Mr Robert enough for always been there for me with all my "silly" questions or concerns :) They offer summer care and after-school care as well which is extremely helpful for me as a full-time working mom. There are no cameras but you will be constantly updated with messages, videos and photos on the app the daycare uses. I know this review is long but I wanted to include everything I looked for when researching daycares.

As a mother I was so worried how the teachers will treat my baby and other kids, however I can say this school has taught her letters, numbers, sharing, etc. Her teach Ms. Brandy is a God sent. My concern is specifically with the director, not the teachers or entire staff. I understand that…read moredealing with conflicts between children and families is not easy, but that is also why someone in a director position needs to remain neutral and consistent and not make decisions based on personal relationships with the families. There is a difference between enforcing school policies and personally involving yourself in a conflict based on emotions or assumptions. This became especially concerning in an incident involving a child who was repeatedly being bitten and hit by another student, resulting in bruises and eventually a fear of going to school at all. While I understand there are procedures the school must follow when addressing incidents between students, my concern is with how the director handled the situation beyond those procedures. From what I witnessed, she became personally involved and appeared to let her own emotions and assumptions influence her response rather than remaining neutral. All in all, my takeaway is that if your child ever has an issue involving another family at this school, I would hope that family does not have a close relationship with the director. Based on what I witnessed, I would have serious concerns about whether both sides would be treated equally and without favoritism.

UPDATE RESPONSE TO THE DIRECTOR:…read more Hi Linda, I need to correct what you said because that is not what happened. I did NOT verbally confront another parent. I saw the family in a parking lot, and my daughter was actually afraid of their child. I told her it was okay and encouraged her to go say hi. I introduced myself, and I had my daughter say hi to their child. & Said we should do play dates etc. since there's been a behavioral concern between them and a play date would help etc. & You know this because I specifically told you this when you called me yelling saying I confronted her. Then you said sorry she must have just been embarrassed about it cus she was crying to you. She didn't even say I confronted her, you just assumed and later acknowledged that wasn't the case after I explained what happened, so please don't misrepresent what happened. What also bothered me was what happened during our conversation. You told me that the family's other son was very ill (I won't mention the exact condition you told me out of respect for the other family's privacy) and that the mother had been crying to you about the situation. I have empathy for what their family is going through, but then you told me that I should apologize to them when I see them, even though I did not confront them or do anything to them. That was the part that really left me questioning the situation. And frankly, given how close you are with this family, your response makes me question how neutral this situation is actually being handled. I understand that you have a responsibility to remain neutral, but that same standard needs to apply to how my actions are being represented. And our issue was from day 1 I came to you about another child hitting mine. I had prior 2 meetings with you before I spoke with the parent. So please don't misrepresent what happened. It's not even about the incident itself, it's how you painted us as the bad person and tried to cover for the other family making excuses saying "they are great family, he's a boy and boys are wild, he's the youngest" those reasons don't matter. if a child hits bites another child you should believe the parent coming forward and try to help instead of taking other family's side. And it's funny you didn't try to believe me at first because you didn't know I had incident reports and teachers telling me about the hitting incidents at first. Your attitude towards it all was extremely disappointing. You are the reason why we left, not because of the incident itself. -------------------------------------------- Stay away from this preschool. We left this preschool, mainly because the director's rude attitude when we raised concerns after repeated incidents of our child coming home hurt, reporting being hit and bitten. When we brought these issues up, DIRECTOR seemed to side with the other family who appeared to have a close relationship with them, consistently sided with them and made us feel like maybe our concerns weren't believed making us feel unheard. Those experiences, and the discourteous way our concerns were handled led us to leave.

Leaving your baby in someone else's care for the first time can be such a scary experience, and I had so many worries. But Ms. Martha gave me so much confidence from the beginning. She is an incredible teacher. She is always attentive to my baby and to all of the babies in the classroom. She stays on top of their feedings, diaper changes, and keeps everything documented. But what I appreciate most is that she doesn't just take care of their basic needs. She takes the time to play with them, sing to them, interact with them, and do activities with them. You can truly see the love and effort she puts into caring for them. She also communicates so well with me as a mom. If my baby doesn't eat as well as usual, does something new, or if there is anything I should know, whether it's something good or something I might have questions about, she always makes sure to let me know. I really appreciate that because I never leave wondering how my baby's day went. I always go home happy and without doubts or worries about how my baby was cared for that day, and that feeling means everything to me. My baby has also learned so many wonderful things since starting daycare. She has become such a happy, social, and interactive baby, and it makes me so happy to see her growing and learning in such a positive environment. I am incredibly grateful to Ms. Martha for giving me the peace of mind I was hoping for when I first decided to put my baby in daycare. She has made this experience so much easier for me as a mom, and I truly appreciate everything she does for my baby every day.

They treat every child like their own, and that kind of care gave me peace of mind every single day I went to work. I've had my son at this school since June 2022. I toured several daycares/preschools in the area…read morebefore choosing this one. Firstly, the location and classrooms are fantastic. A lot of daycares have small, musty grounds that seem uncomfortable for children to be cooped up in all day, but the Montessori Academy of Chino has HUGE, open, sunny classrooms with plenty of space for the kids. The entrance is secure and the sign in/out process is easy on their device (no annoying sheets to sign every day). Their outside area is gated and faces away from the street, so it also feels very safe. Secondly, the staff are attentive. Outside of the classroom, on the rare occasion I've had an issue, the director or owner have communicated quickly and directly. Inside the classroom, the teachers are nice and seem like they enjoy their job. They have plenty of fun activities for the kids and are wonderful about having special events! There is occasional turnover, but that is to be expected with any early education center. The main teachers have stayed consistent which is great for the kids. Overall, our family simply loves this school. I can't thank them enough for all they do!
