BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER!…read more My husband and I dreamed of a wedding where everyone could stay together onsite, immersed in nature, with no worries about driving after a night of fun, and Camp Osito Rancho made that dream a reality. Our families stayed in the health center, lodge, and electrified cabins, while our friends embraced the adventure of summer cabins and tents. The venue offers so many stunning spaces, from the spacious dining hall for meals to the stage/amphitheater with fire pits--perfect for s'mores and late-night stories. We exchanged vows at the top of a hill near the outdoor pavilion, with a gorgeous backdrop of pine trees and a view of Big Bear Lake in the distance. We were able to offer our guests camp activities like archery and a pool day, as well as had room to setup other activities like craft tables and lawn games. The biggest perk was the complete freedom to choose our own vendors, allowing us to create a truly personalized experience (huge shoutout to Scratch Kitchen for catering--our guests still rave about the food). We spent a year making signs, collecting décor, buying solar lights, and crafting to transform this Girl Scout camp into a full-blown wedding festival. If you're up for planning the details, this venue is the ultimate blank canvas. Last but not least, the Camp Osito Rancho team is absolutely amazing. A huge thanks to Angel for her help throughout the year, Ryan for his help throughout the weekend, and to Gerardo for the tour that sold us from the start. For a wedding that feels like an unforgettable getaway, this place is pure magic

From Ms Judy at front desk to Marlee the director have always been so helpful to our family. Our daughter loves this place. Ms. Marlene, Ms Helen and all the other ladies that work there are so amazing. I cannot express the words of gratitude and appreciation I have for this place. It's not easy to find a daycare as a parent you can trust to care for your children when you're unable to for work. It's always a tough and emotional process and transition. This place exceeded my expectation and we've had the pleasure of many other daycares care for my daughter and son. I can say you're very blessed if you are allowed the opportunity to have your children here. I hope this place remains true to it's values and continues doing what it does for the children and families. The staff is the biggest part of this. Treat them well!

I am the mother of a kindergarten child who graduated from LAUP preschool and daycare here. She…read morehad attended a local family based daycare for years before and honestly I wish I had brought her here much sooner. In fact, if not for a change in my work arrangements she AND her old sister would be attending this location for their current after school care. My daughter really blossomed academically and socially here with teachers Ms. Berenice, Ms. Karina, Ms. Maria, Ms. Alexis and Mr. Giovanni to just name a few. The executive director, Ms. Tracy, is very friendly, helpful and approachable. I was really pleased with the focus on learning that was balanced by creative and active play along with a lot of games, arts and physical activity. I still get teared up when I recall the sweet Mothers Day bunch and performance that they learned and memorized under the guidance of their teachers! They offer several activities, healthy snacks and field trips. It's an older facility that could use some updating but for Los Angeles or Orange County commuting parents it is in a good location off the 57 freeway near the 60 & 10 freeway merges. As working parent I recommend this preschool and daycare highly. The care and education they invest in the kids has really shown in how successful my daughter has been in transitioning to Kindergarten & I thank the team at the YMCA Diamond Bar @ Sunset Crossing for being her preschool providers.

My son is treated so well every single day, and it gives me such peace of mind knowing he's in such a safe, nurturing, and loving environment. Ms. Pam and Lydia are absolutely amazing. Ms. Pam leads with so much warmth, professionalism, and dedication, and it really shows in the way the daycare is ran Lydia is incredibly attentive, patient, and kind -- she genuinely takes the time to understand each child's needs and makes them feel seen and cared for. My son has learned so much since starting here, not just academically but socially and emotionally as well. The staff is very attentive, communicates well, and truly goes above and beyond to support each child's development. You can tell this isn't "just a job" for them -- they truly care.

I wanted to share my experience with Kiddie Academy on Pomona Rincon. My child started attending…read morebefore turning two and was there for about nine months. Each morning, my child would start in the infant room before moving to the toddler room later in the day. Unfortunately, there was a younger child in the infant room who frequently bit others, including my child -- multiple times and without provocation. Eventually this child was old enough to also go into the toddler room so the problem followed. At first, I was understanding since toddlers can bite for various developmental reasons. However, the incidents kept happening even after I spoke with the director, Pam, who assured me they were monitoring the situation. In total, my child was bitten five times: May - left side of cheek May - back, broke skin June - arm June - left shoulder, broke skin August - left cheek (this one broke the skin and left a mark for months) We could sometimes see on the cameras that teachers were struggling to keep the biter separated. We talked to the teachers but they said they don't have a choice in who's in their class. The teachers were doing the best they can. Despite repeated assurances from the administration that the situation was being handled, no meaningful action was taken. Even after the worst bite, the one on the cheek that broke the skin, we were told the other child would have "one more chance" before termination. After posting my experience in a local mom group, a staff member apparently found my post and responded directly. Her response stated that "toddlers are naturally prone to biting as they're still learning how to express themselves and manage emotions," that the school had taken all possible steps to prevent incidents, and most shockingly they mentioned that my child sometimes hit and bit friends as well. I found it upsetting and disappointing that, instead of addressing my concerns, the response seemed to shift blame onto my child. I completely understand that toddlers bite. It's a normal part of development. What concerns me is that it happened repeatedly from the same child without meaningful action or communication. After the last severe bite on the cheek, termination should have been the next step, not another chance. My child isn't perfect either and it's telling that any behavior on my child's part only started after being bitten multiple times. If the administration had addressed the issue promptly, this wouldn't have escalated into such a big problem. No parent should have to wait for their child to be bitten five times before it's taken seriously. Ultimately, we decided to withdraw and found a different program. I hope other families have a better experience, but I wanted to share our story so parents are aware.
