My kid loving the outside play area.
    Aubrey O.

My daughter attends this center in the prek room and she loves coming to school. She was slow to warm up, but the teachers were patient with her and she grew to love them. Now, she talks about her day at home and all of her friends. We've been here for a little over a year and the center is always clean and tidy and I often see teachers wiping down surfaces which is nice. I highly recommend this facility.

Both of my kids have now attended Higgins Ranch KinderCare and they love it!

Soon after he would even talk about his new friends at school and what he learned from Miss Lily at home everyday. We had tried Everbrook and Kindercare for 2 months each prior, but my son would cry nearly the entire time he was there and the teachers would generally ignore him until he calmed down on his own. He seemed like he wasn't making any connections with other children during his stay as well. We eventually found Beautiful Minds Montessori, scheduled a tour and enrolled him to join as soon as a space opened up. Our son had already developed a distaste for daycare and would be in tears at drop off , but Miss Lily was immediately comforting and receptive to our son and helped him along the way. She kept us informed through his day and it really seemed like it was the individual care we were looking for. I suppose smaller daycares seem a bit weird compared to the large ones, but after our experience with Miss Lily's expertise and warmth at Beautiful Minds Montessori, I wish we had enrolled him sooner. On a side note, once my son starts Kindergarten later this year, I will be enrolling my daughter soon after as I know she will be in good hands with miss Lily!

It's so evident that she truly loves what she does and has a genuine passion for teaching and nurturing kids. I always felt completely confident sending my child to school here, knowing they were in a safe, loving, and enriching environment. Liliana is also incredibly communicative, keeping parents informed and involved every step of the way. I highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a warm, dedicated, and professional caregiver.

Every week my daughter comes home excited about something new and creative she has learned. As a parent of multiple children, I can honestly say I have never witnessed a teacher who cares as deeply as Miss Angela. She has a unique ability to blend Montessori principles with a strong academic curriculum, and the results are incredible. My daughter can spell, read, write, and confidently work through mathematics. She is starting kindergarten this year, but thanks to Miss Angela's dedication and teaching style, she is already understanding concepts at a first-grade level. If you intentional about your child's academic foundation and future success, I cannot recommend Bloom enough. The journey to a love of learning begins now, and Miss Angela provides the perfect environment for children to thrive.

I tapped on the link and remembered thinking to myself, "Woah. All these 5 star reviews and some are even as long as essays!?" After reading all the raving reviews we called and left a voicemail wanting to get a tour. The classroom was spacious, clean and has a lot of natural lighting which was excellent because it didn't feel like your kiddo is locked up indoor. She also showed us the books and the scientific toys kids would play. Different toys had different teaching functions, not just purely for playing, which was nice. That was our 4th tour and after speaking for over an hour getting to know Miss Angela's teaching philosophy, we enrolled. Choosing a good preschool for your child is one of the first biggest decisions we all have to make as new parents. So I really wanted to take the time getting to know who is teaching my daughter. Not just what they are teaching, but who they are as a person. For children at this young age, the number one thing I am looking for in a teacher is patience, kindness, empathy, and compassion. And let me tell you, Miss Angela is one of the kindest and most empathatic person I've ever met. You just feel so secured and comfortable knowing your child is in the best hands. In terms of her academic programs, Miss Angela teaches different themes for each month. For example, during spring months she will teach about the nature, bugs, butterflies, lady bugs, etc. In class they will raise a butterfly from an egg, to caterpillar, to a chysalis, all the way to an adult butterfly. My daughter loved the lady bugs she got to bring home. Then, at the end of the month all the parents and the kids get together watching the release of those butterflies into the wild. Not sure what the future will look like for our kids with AI in the mix, but I love that Miss Angela focuses on teaching the kids how to think and how to ask the right questions. I can go on and on and on but really once you get a tour with Miss Angela you'll know what I am talking about. It's been a little over a year, and I am now the one who's writing a 5 star review for Ms. Angela and Ms. Jen lol. But I really want to spread the word like so many other parents before me. I hope this review helps all you parents out there

We wanted to love this daycare. We had been struggling to find a daycare that would accept and…read moresupport our son, who has speech and developmental delays, so we were hopeful that we had finally found a place where he would be cared for with patience and understanding. Unfortunately, our experience left us extremely disappointed and concerned. I happened to be watching the classroom livestream when I witnessed two separate physical interactions between Ms. Morgan and my son. During the first incident, my son had put a bucket on his head that he was not supposed to be wearing. Rather than speaking to him or asking him to give it to her, Ms. Morgan came behind him and snatched it away without any verbal warning. My son cannot speak well but he understands simple directions and will hand something over when asked. About 30 minutes later, Ms. Morgan lifted my son out of a chair and then pushed him away with enough force that he had to take a step forward to catch himself. What was just as upsetting as witnessing these incidents was the response from the director, Ms. Pam. After reviewing what happened, the blame was placed on our developmentally and speech-delayed child rather than the adult in the situation. We did not receive the remorse, accountability, or reassurance we expected from someone we trusted with caring for our child. What was most odd was that when we expressed how upset we were, the response seemed to change only after we mentioned leaving a review. We were told that we "didn't need to go that far." As parents, our priority was never a review-- it was how our child was treated and how our concerns were handled afterward. Children with developmental and communication delays require additional patience, redirection, and understanding. They should never be treated as though their disability excuses an adult handling them in a way that is concerning. I am incredibly grateful that I happened to be watching the livestream and saw these interactions myself. Based on what we witnessed and the way our concerns were handled afterward, we do not trust this daycare with our son. For parents ,especially parents of children who are nonverbal, speech delayed, or unable to tell you what happens during their day, pay close attention and advocate for your child when something doesn't feel right.

My son would almost hug Ms. Pam every day before we left Kiddie Academy, which speaks volumes about the caring environment they've created. We chose Goddard due to their new and excellently maintained facilities, as well as their focus on socializing children. The kids are encouraged to participate and interact in a group leaning environment. The curriculum is adapted for each individual child's development and progress. I feel this is essential, especially when children begin forming social bonds with each other and communicating. For the younger toddlers, the staff has been great at working with parents in key challenges such as potty training and eating. The culture and environment is diverse, including cultural experiences, language exposure, lunch selection, and demographics. They school additional words in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish to add additional context to subject matters. Children are taught about ethnic holidays ranging from Chinese New Year to Diwali while encouraging parental participation. Socialization is promoted through group play and they are mindful to encourage participation. They approach seperation anxiety and behavioral issues with understanding and compassion, but prioritizes the emotional and physical well being of all children first and foremost. As mentioned by several reviews, there was an incident involving repeated and extreme behavioral issues with a child who aggressively bit numerous children, including to the face. Some of the bites caused bruising and bleeding. Goddard respected the confidentiality of that child, but children and parents talk. That child was promptly dismissed to protect other children from further injury and potential emotional distress. I truly commend them on how they dealt with that disturbing situation.

I understand that…read moredealing with conflicts between children and families is not easy, but that is also why someone in a director position needs to remain neutral and consistent and not make decisions based on personal relationships with the families. There is a difference between enforcing school policies and personally involving yourself in a conflict based on emotions or assumptions. This became especially concerning in an incident involving a child who was repeatedly being bitten and hit by another student, resulting in bruises and eventually a fear of going to school at all. While I understand there are procedures the school must follow when addressing incidents between students, my concern is with how the director handled the situation beyond those procedures. From what I witnessed, she became personally involved and appeared to let her own emotions and assumptions influence her response rather than remaining neutral. All in all, my takeaway is that if your child ever has an issue involving another family at this school, I would hope that family does not have a close relationship with the director. Based on what I witnessed, I would have serious concerns about whether both sides would be treated equally and without favoritism.

UPDATE RESPONSE TO THE DIRECTOR:…read more Hi Linda, I need to correct what you said because that is not what happened. I did NOT verbally confront another parent. I saw the family in a parking lot, and my daughter was actually afraid of their child. I told her it was okay and encouraged her to go say hi. I introduced myself, and I had my daughter say hi to their child. & Said we should do play dates etc. since there's been a behavioral concern between them and a play date would help etc. & You know this because I specifically told you this when you called me yelling saying I confronted her. Then you said sorry she must have just been embarrassed about it cus she was crying to you. She didn't even say I confronted her, you just assumed and later acknowledged that wasn't the case after I explained what happened, so please don't misrepresent what happened. What also bothered me was what happened during our conversation. You told me that the family's other son was very ill (I won't mention the exact condition you told me out of respect for the other family's privacy) and that the mother had been crying to you about the situation. I have empathy for what their family is going through, but then you told me that I should apologize to them when I see them, even though I did not confront them or do anything to them. That was the part that really left me questioning the situation. And frankly, given how close you are with this family, your response makes me question how neutral this situation is actually being handled. I understand that you have a responsibility to remain neutral, but that same standard needs to apply to how my actions are being represented. And our issue was from day 1 I came to you about another child hitting mine. I had prior 2 meetings with you before I spoke with the parent. So please don't misrepresent what happened. It's not even about the incident itself, it's how you painted us as the bad person and tried to cover for the other family making excuses saying "they are great family, he's a boy and boys are wild, he's the youngest" those reasons don't matter. if a child hits bites another child you should believe the parent coming forward and try to help instead of taking other family's side. And it's funny you didn't try to believe me at first because you didn't know I had incident reports and teachers telling me about the hitting incidents at first. Your attitude towards it all was extremely disappointing. You are the reason why we left, not because of the incident itself. -------------------------------------------- Stay away from this preschool. We left this preschool, mainly because the director's rude attitude when we raised concerns after repeated incidents of our child coming home hurt, reporting being hit and bitten. When we brought these issues up, DIRECTOR seemed to side with the other family who appeared to have a close relationship with them, consistently sided with them and made us feel like maybe our concerns weren't believed making us feel unheard. Those experiences, and the discourteous way our concerns were handled led us to leave.
