We had the pleasure of having Valerie officiate our wedding, and she was truly amazing. She was very professional while still bringing her own personality to the ceremony, which made everything feel authentic and special. What we loved most was that she knew exactly what to say, and delivered everything beautifully and confidently. It felt very genuine, and I can feel that she really enjoys her job and so it just makes everything flow so effortlessly. She took the time to ask the bride and groom personal questions, and then shared those details during the ceremony with the guest. That personal touch made our vows and story feel even more meaningful, and it really connected with everyone in the room. Her voice was so soothing and comforting--seriously, we could have listened to her speak forever. Many people commented that our ceremony was one of the nicest they'd ever experienced, and we genuinely believe she played a big part in that. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant. Everything she said at the ceremony was very interesting and it did not bore the audience at all. Every one of the guests loved her! Thank you so much Valerie for officiating our wedding, we couldn't stop talking about how perfect the ceremony was. You are so incredible and I hope other couples will be lucky enough to come across your business and be able to book with you for theirs! Truly, you are amazing. read more

Ryan officiated our wedding this past weekend and he was seriously everything we asked for and more! We had talked with multiple officiants before him and were considering our options then. Last minute, we decided to contact him and right away we knew he was going to be our officiant. Ryan is a true professional, laying out exactly what he would be helping us with and giving us the play by play on what to expect. We truly felt so comfortable with him. For the actual ceremony, he absolutely crushed it! He is such an amazing speaker and had a unique twist on the ceremony by reading a questionnaire we had filled about each other, live to the audience. All in all, I seriously could not imagine anyone else being our officiant. And I can confidently recommend Ryan to anyone looking for one. read more

To start, I used lots of reddit, yelp, and google reviews to find my vendors and so I hope this review will help a future bride make her decision! We were trying to decide between having a friend or hire an officiant to marry us, and we are so glad we hired Ryan! He has this calming presence and makes you immediately feel at ease. He delivered the ceremony flawlessly, and everyone afterwards complimented it saying how beautiful and memorable it was and that it was one of the best ceremonies they've witnessed! On Sunday when we were having lunch with our family and some family friends, they kept mentioning Ryan and how he was so professional and how the ceremony was so perfect!! From the start, he made us feel comfortable and confident in hiring him. On the first phone call, he went over the general script so we could get a taste of what it would be like on our wedding day and from that we were like done, you're hired! He wove in our story to the script to personalize it to us in such a beautiful way and it flowed very naturally. We were an out of town couple, and so we did our meetings via phone call and FaceTime and Ryan was totally easy going about it and was very easy to stay in contact with, should we have any questions. He kept in touch throughout the process and checked in seeing if we needed help with anything, sending resources for vow writing, dance lessons, etc. We didn't end up using them because we aren't located in SoCal but it was nice to know they were available! read more

There truly aren't enough words (or the right words) to convey the gratitude we have for Ryan and Weddings Royale. When we were deciding on an officiant, we went back and forth between having a close friend or a family member. Our indecisiveness ultimately led us to choosing someone uninvolved, and that decision brought us to Weddings Royale. As the bride, I did a lot of research, and the reviews consistently pointed me in this direction. I'm hoping this review helps couples who may be in the same boat we were. My now-husband is a man of few words and knew he didn't want to share personal vows in front of everyone, while I was eager for our story and love to be shared with our family and friends. Ryan and Weddings Royale made both of our wishes a reality. Without getting into the nitty-gritty, they found a way for our family to truly know us and our story without us having to read our private vows aloud. Ryan beautifully shared parts of our journey and what we mean to each other during the ceremony. We started with an initial video call where Ryan took the time to get to know us and walk us through what our ceremony could look like. He provided multiple options for different beginnings, elements, and endings. To be totally transparent, some ideas felt a bit cheesy to me at first (though my husband loved them), but Ryan worked with us to tweak everything so it felt authentic and special to us and our big day. The compliments from family and friends were nonstop. Everyone loved the ceremony. It was not too short, not too long, and perfectly true to our story and love. Most importantly, the execution was something we never had to worry about. This is truly Ryan's calling, and he is a master of his craft. We are beyond grateful to Ryan and the entire Weddings Royale family. We were completely blown away by every part of their work. read more

Ryan was the BEST officiant we could have ever asked for! We were referred to Weddings Royale by our amazing wedding planner, Cara from Everly & Co., and we are SO glad she did--because Ryan was absolutely incredible. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how unique and personal our ceremony was. Ryan's delivery, presence, and confidence was truly one of a kind. From start to finish, every interaction with him was amazing. He was always so kind, thoughtful, and quick to respond. When we first spoke, he gave us a preview of the ceremony script, and it literally brought both me and my fiancé (now husband) to tears. He made it feel so real, so emotional--like we were already standing there in that moment. Not to mention, he took a huge weight off our shoulders by filing our marriage license for us, so we could head straight to our honeymoon without any extra stress. We're forever grateful for Ryan and couldn't recommend him more highly! read more

I hired Ryan after seeing him in action officiating a wedding. He was so swell spoken and articulated the couple's love perfectly! I knew that he was the right choice for my wedding right away. From our first introduction phone call where we customized our ceremony, versus, vows, and timeline of the ceremony, it all felt right. We got so excited to go over the special things that we wanted for our big day. We had a 22 month engagement, so a few months prior to the wedding, we had another phone call to discuss what we decided on and solidify the ceremony order of events. My husband and I were smiling ear to ear and tears were filling our eyes practicing our vows and discussing details with Ryan. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early and double checked some details before we got ceremony started. I didn't have to worry about a thing due to his calm nature and encouragement on the big day. Funny enough, there was a miscommunication between my photographer, wedding party, and me on who had my vow book. I though the photographer brought both the vow books to my husband, but mine was left in the wedding suite. Ryan, without even flinching carried onto the next part of our ceremony while my sister ran back to the wedding suite to grab my vow book. This made my husband say his vows first and me be a blubbering mess trying to read my vows after him. But it all turned out so beautiful and perfect due to Ryan's professionalism and willingness to pivot. We received so many compliments from my guests after the ceremony on what an amazing job he did and how they've never met an officiant who was so connected with the couple. Ryan, I can't thank you enough for making my wedding ceremony so perfect! BOOK HIM BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! read more

To be honest, when we booked our wedding officiant we didn't do much research it was between Ryan and another officiant my wedding planner had suggested. Ryan was quick to respond and was available for our wedding so we went ahead and booked him. His initial phone meeting was very through-rough and he walked us through exactly how the wedding will go. He made my husband's vows sound so much more elegant and refined. Even my wedding planner was very impressed with Ryan. She told us she's glad we picked Ryan over her recommendation. Our wedding guest spoke very highly about Ryan, they noted how clear his words were and the tone of his voice was very relax and easy. Overall, don't hesitate to book Ryan. He was on time, did a phenomenal job and even sent out our wedding forms for us. We couldn't be happier with our choice. read more

We cannot more highly recommend Weddings Royale! Ryan exceeded all of our expectations! We absolutely loved every second of our ceremony. We laughed, we cried, and we walked down the aisle as husband and wife on cloud nine! Choosing the right officiant for your wedding is a difficult task, but Ryan put us at ease from the moment we first talked to him. His calm, pleasant, professional demeanor, and his obviously-polished public speaking skills gave us confidence that he was the right choice for our day. Ryan was responsive to all of our questions leading up to the wedding. We loved how flexible Ryan was to personalize and tailor the ceremony script and flow exactly the way we wanted! He even booked an in-person meetup at a nearby coffee shop to walk through the ceremony structure and narrow down some details. Even though he was speaking generally and hadn't yet finalized the ceremony script, he had us both in tears! On the day of the wedding, he showed up early, picture-perfect in his suit, and proceeded to deliver the best ceremony we have ever experienced - no exaggeration. Our ceremony was personalized, heart felt, eloquently spoken, and flowed naturally. He had tailored the entire ceremony around us, weaving in answers to questions that he had asked both beforehand (it was the first time we heard each other's answers - leading to laughs and loving tears), delivering polished anecdotes, and keeping our audience's attention with the perfect mix of 'fun' and 'meaningful.' Our guests can't stop talking about the uniqueness and personalization of the ceremony, and they absolutely gush over Ryan's work - and for good reason. Some guests even commented on how deeply touched and inspired they were by Ryan's words! Oh, and for those of you hoping to have first kiss photos without your officiant standing right behind you - Ryan completely understands the assignment! He quickly moves out of the way so you can get those flawless first kiss photos! After the ceremony, Ryan was a class act and stopped by the bridal suite to check in with us, thank us, and wish us well. He promptly filed our marriage license and sent us a photo of the official "Received" stamp. We didn't have to worry about a thing! It's not often that a couple can say that the ceremony was their favorite part of the wedding day, but thanks to Ryan and Weddings Royale, we can say that without hesitation. Thank you so much, Ryan! read more

Best decision we made for our wedding! Our guests were blown away with how personal our wedding ceremony was. They were raving how awesome Ryan did and we were asked multiple times how we knew him, haha! My hubby didn't want to do personal vows as he was too nervous but Ryan was able to ask us the right questions and our answers brought us to tears (in the best way possible)! It was extremely unique yet still held all the traditional aspects we wanted to keep. We 1,000 percent highly recommend. read more

He has an incredible gift for public speaking and makes everyone who encounters him feel like he has known them for years. We thoroughly enjoyed any time spent with him. If you want an absolutely beautiful and unique wedding ceremony, look no further! My husband and I cannot recommend Ryan enough as a wedding officiant! From our first meeting with him we noticed how much passion and care he has for officiating weddings. He listened intently to what we were looking for in a ceremony and proposed his ceremony vision, which we loved. After booking with Ryan, we scheduled another visit to talk more about the wedding and for Ryan to get to know us more. Throughout wedding planning Ryan was very quick to respond to emails and helped us with any questions we had along the way. The night before the wedding, Ryan texted us wishing us a happy wedding eve, which was extremely thoughtful! Our ceremony was our favorite part of our wedding and we credit that to Ryan. The five questions that Ryan presented took the stress off of us during the ceremony and numerous guests told us how much they loved that part. Such a unique and romantic part of the ceremony, a truly genius addition. Also, Ryan helped out with any wedding license questions we have had and took care of taking the license to the county clerk to get it filed. If you want to have the best ceremony possible and low stress obtaining and filing your license then you don't need to look any further than Weddings Royale. TLDR; book Ryan as your officiant and use the five questions. It will be the best ceremony you and your guests have ever been a part of. read more

We hit the jackpot with Weddings Royale for our officiant. Right from our first call, Ryan demonstrated a genuine interest in understanding us and facilitated the process of obtaining a marriage license seamlessly. He went the extra mile by suggesting a lunch meetup, just to get to know us better and deepen our connection. When the big day rolled around, Ryan was on fire! Early, decked out in our wedding colors, he breezed through the paperwork in less than 5 minutes, he helped ease my anxiety by going through everything with me one more time before the ceremony so that I would feel comfortable. His preparation, confidence, and punctuality were evident, setting the tone for an outstanding ceremony. What truly set Ryan apart was his ability to tailor the ceremony to us. The way he seamlessly integrated our love story into his speech captivated our guests. Our guests couldn't stop talking about it. Ryan's storytelling game was on point - he had everyone laughing, crying, and giving us a standing ovation. His voice, charm, and the way he owned the stage made it seem like he'd been our friend forever and till this day people still ask about him. Beyond the ceremony itself, Ryan paid attention to the little details, like holding the microphone for us and strategically stepping away during key moments for optimal photos. The months leading up to the wedding were stress-free, and we felt confident that we had made the right choice. His meticulous planning and execution made our ceremony perfect. Ryan was worth his weight in gold, hands down the best investment for our wedding. I'm still mind-blown I want to cry every time I hit play on our ceremony videos. Working with Ryan was like working with a best friend. Not only was he super informative, helpful and friendly in the beginning before we asked if he'd be our officiant but he also spent a lot of time getting to know us over the phone/FaceTime/texting afterwards. When he officiated our ceremony everyone was convinced he had been a friend of ours for years. Not only was the ceremony unique but also very personalized. He gave us the tools to help him get to know us and build the perfect ceremony. If we could give 10 stars Ryan would have earned them. So many people commented about the amazing job he did officiating our wedding. Ryan is everything you can ask for in an officiant. More than that, he goes above and beyond in every way. When our wedding was postponed and then our date was changed due to a venue error, Ryan was the person who called to ask how we were doing and if he could help. The day of our rehearsal he called to ask if he could bring a Starbucks for us. When it came to the ceremony, he did exactly what we asked for and was so personable that we felt like a close friend was performing our wedding. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Several people called after our wedding just to tell us how impressed they were with how Ryan performed our ceremony. You simply cannot go wrong with this choice. I read reviews and watched previous wedding ceremonies Ryan was part of, so I knew before speaking with him I wanted him to be our officiant. After speaking with him, it was confirmed! He is very easy to speak to. He has you answer a series of questions separate from your partner and goes over them at the ceremony. ( I have a hard time putting my feelings in writing, he helped me with that) The ceremony was not long, and not short, let me tell you He kept everyone intrigued! So many people since the wedding have come to me to say how impressed with him they were!! I couldn't agree more! Thank you Ryan, you really are amazing at what you do! read more

Very overdue review! Ryan officiated our wedding in October and absolutely killed it! I got so, so, SO many compliments from our guests in the days and weeks after the wedding about how special and beautiful our ceremony was. When searching for an officiant, we set out to find someone with an approachable demeanor; smart, wise and someone who has the ability to make a make a quick joke to ease everyone's tension-- so I was surprised to find all these qualities from someone buried on the 28th page of google. From the first email correspondence with Ryan and our first meeting at a coffee shop, his approach was so helpful and straightforward, and put us at ease. When it came to constructing the script for the ceremony, he had a perfect outline and flow of the ceremony. He was involved in selecting excerpts and made it collaborative. Ryan really made it feel unique and that the ceremony was true to us. He (and his lovely wife and daughters) arrived promptly and immediately put us at ease with his gentle and charming nature, as he walked around and chatted with the wedding audience with candor and grace. He gave us excellent advice before the ceremony so that my wife and I could be fully present and engage with one another. This advice made the ceremony so intimate and shook us out of our jitters completely. The ceremony itself was so poignant, moving and a major highlight of the day-- and when you spend so much time thinking about the details of flowers, food, decor, attire...Then your 5th cousin comes up to you and says "cool wedding and stuff, but that officiant Ryan was really, really good," --That speaks volumes. Ryan spoke eloquently and with the rhythm and pacing of a seasoned comic. His charm brought the words on the page to life. You know that he loves what he does because the passion pours out of him. Our guests were all in tears of laughter and happiness and guests commented that ours was the most moving ceremony they had ever experienced. It's hard to be objective, but they were echoing our own feelings. What we experienced was so rare and beautiful and we couldn't have had anyone better to lead us than Ryan. Thank you so much for making our day so special! read more

Ryan was our officiant for our private elopement in March. We were so happy we went with him. He was professional and personable, arrived early, kept us laughing and delivered a beautiful and memorable ceremony! He was flexible and quick to respond when trying to secure a date, he gave us guidance for our vows and he even included us on picking his suit colour to match the vibe for pictures. Valerie Kingsman was our wedding officiant and we couldn't have asked for a better person! We were first a little hesitant in hiring a officiant, since it is common to ask a pastor or a professor we know closely in Korean wedding culture. Since we knew nobody closely who can help us with that, we reached out to Valerie and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! In an hour long zoom call, she made sure she got to know us a lot by asking questions and asking us to write down things about what we think of each other. She also made sure we understood what we have to prepare for our vows. We really liked the questionnaires she asked us to write, so she can read it out loud at the wedding. She told us to be discrete with our answers and not share with each other, so it was exciting to hear what my partner said for the first time with the guests. The guests really enjoyed it and said it wasn't 'boring' as typical weddings sometimes do! She was also very considerate in making us choose what she should wear on our big day, making sure she doesn't collide with the color pallets we chose (honestly all the outfit options she sent us to choose would've worked perfectly that day) We'll forever remember this day and your kind words! Thank you Valerie :) read more

We had such a difficult time finding an officiant who was available and we're so happy we found Ryan. Ryan was absolutely perfect, he FaceTimed us for our first meeting to introduce himself and to give us an idea of his style as an officiant. He has great communication skills and created a custom wedding ceremony for us. Our ceremony was different since we incorporated a very short tea ceremony into it and he did a great explanation on the significance of the tea ceremony. We also wanted to keep it short and simple, which Ryan was still able to create a meaningful ceremony that had modern references and emotional roller coaster (funny jokes to tearful moments, and back to joyful memories). Highly recommend Ryan for anyone who's looking for an officiant. read more

Valerie is a phenomenal officiant. We hired her for our nondenominational wedding at the recommendation of our wedding planner and it was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. Since we used traditional rather than personal vows, we didn't expect our ceremony to be a highlight of our wedding--but thanks to Valerie it absolutely was! From wedding guests to vendors, everyone was raving about the ceremony. Valerie has a questionnaire that she uses to ensure that there's a personal touch to the ceremony even if she is the one speaking the words aloud. She also makes the ceremony more personal by getting to know you as a couple and weaving in aspects of your relationship--favorite sports teams, cities, animals, etc.--into the ceremony. Another highlight is how comfortable she makes you feel during the ceremony. I went into the ceremony certain that my voice was going to shake during the traditional vows, and I ended up feeling so at ease having Valerie there asking me to repeat the words after her. Beyond the ceremony, Weddings Royale makes the booking and planning process extremely easy as well. And I will note that while this review is for the amazing Valerie, I know she and her husband use the same process and several of my vendors had wonderful things to say about the ceremonies they've seen with him as well.
