The…read moresecond you walk in, the walls are lined with all these super fun and unique cake pans, and there are so many fun baking supplies--liners, piping tools, edible glitter/luster dust, cupcake toppers... honestly dangerous in the best way. I specifically came in for cream cheese emulsion for cake pops, but ended up wandering every aisle because there's just so much to look at. Also--huge win--they carry a ton of Colour Mill food coloring options, which are known for being super pigmented and great for buttercream/chocolate. And somehow cheaper than Amazon?? Immediate add to cart (I grabbed at least four). It's a bit out of my way, but this is 100% becoming a regular stop for baking supplies & it's supporting local so would much rather put my money here than Michaels or Amazon.

Extremely rude and highly unprofessional employees. Before i bought my costume i asked the employee…read moreat the register what is their return policy and in return he said "you can return any item until 7:30 today" and so i said "okay cool"-then preceding to buy my costume. I then go home and realize that it's the wrong costume, so i drive back (mind you, within the same hour) and ask if i can get a refund because a worker earlier had told me i could. What i got back was a woman yelling in my face and rolling her eyes at me saying "no you can't" and "why are coustmers so dumb" and all sorts of snarky little comments. I then ask if i can speak to her manager in which her response was "no" and when asked why, all she says is "i don't know where she is". I then decide to let her calm down and walk around a bit and come back when there is another level headed employee. I came back about 5-10 minutes later to find the same employee who earlier told me i can return as long as it's before 7:30. I then tell him that i would like to return an item. He then says "uhhhh, no i can't do that" in which my response was "you told me less than 2 hours ago that i could." And he says back, "i don't remember seeing you here". At this moment i ask him where the manager is, and his response is "My manager isn't here", so i ask him "when is your manager in?" And he replies "I'm not going to tell you, leave before i call security". And once again the same girl from earlier sees me and says "ugh, what is he doing here still". Upon hearing this, i was offended. How dare you, an employee who promises a customer that they can return an item, threaten to call security on a paying customer? Furthermore, you wouldn't even let me see your manager and talk this out. At this point there is no reason for me to want the return, but the fact that the employees here treated me like this is OUTRAGEOUS. I'll probably be back tomorrow once again to talk this out, but at this point there is no point in coming back. 100% DO NOT GO HERE, unless you want to be treated like a piece of meat walking around paying money.

SUCH A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE…read more I needed at least 57 cubic ft of helium for a weather balloon launch my friends and I were doing (for GISH). This shop had the best prices of the couple I was calling around to on a Saturday, needed it same day. The mid-size was WAY more helium than I needed but it was cheaper than buying two smaller sizes still (and worked out because we totally ended up using around 90 cubic ft, they helped estimate for me upon returning the tank). So anyway, good prices, they didn't charge me a deposit for the tank (most places do), they helped answer some of my questions and seemed genuinely interested in what I was doing and what GISH was. Upon return, different shop assistant, same experience! He was super helpful, and seemed interested in our silly weather balloon adventure. They even allowed me to return slightly after hours (I was running 10 mins late past 5, due to rush hour). So from start to finish I just found them incredibly kind, helpful, accommodating, and friendly. On top of competitive helium pricing. Yay!

I had read so many terrible reviews for U-Haul or Budget, I was completely stressed out and having nightmares the U-Haul I rented wasn't available when I went to get it. So my husband found this local place, and I'm so glad! We got a decent sized trailer for 100 bucks for the weekend (50/day). They are closed on Sundays, so they don't charge for that day. They quickly hooked it up to my hitch and disconnected it when I got back. Watching these guys on the phone and with customers, it's clear they do a ton of business, and they know exactly what they're doing at this point. They even waived their late fee for me, as I overslept and brought it back 2 hours late on Monday. They don't just rent trailers either, they have pretty much everything under the sun, including party tents and equipment. I even saw slushy machines and popcorn makers. I highly recommend Columbia Heights rental!

There's no way we could have had our guests sit on these chairs. We were told the chairs we rented would have some scuffs. We were not prepared for this mess! It took us over 3 hours to clean these chairs. We had to haul the chairs quite a distance and didn't realize how filthy they were until they had been moved. So we called All event rental after the wedding and asked what they would do for us. Lori said we can do nothing. You should have called before the wedding and we would have replaced them. We didn't have time to go through all that and move 150 chairs 4 times!! I wish I had read the reviews before renting. We think it's terrible they would not even give us a little credit for the hassle.
