My boyfriend and I came in just to take a look at things and I really had no idea what I wanted. We worked with Shelby and she was so helpful and informative on shapes, cuts, sizing, etc. I really figured out what I was interested in and I appreciated her being so open to pull things for us to see just to get better ideas. I also really enjoyed being able to browse on our own for a bit and pick ones that caught our eye so we could narrow things down more. They have a great selection and great value as well. read more

First off..the ladies there were very helpful and nice. However...do not sell your jewelry to them . I brought in 2 pieces , they offered me $713 for both. I went to 2 other places, same pieces , one offered me $1078 the next one was $1304. All they do is give you "melt down" value..go to a place that will resell your pieces. Then you will get offered more and almost twice as much. read more

First i want to give a huge shout out to everyone at Wedding day diamonds and specifically to Jessica for her amazing patience, follow up and understanding of what we wanted and when we were looking for it! My husband bought my engagement ring from Wedding Day Burnsville in 2004ish followed up by both of our wedding bands. He bought stud earrings for me last year for my birthday and the topper was our custom made anniversary ring that Jessica made happen for our 20th wedding anniversary on 1/20/26! Jessica was patient with us as we tried deciding on design and then ultimately deciding but where she went above and beyond was helping to make sure we got it before we left for our vow renewal in Jamaica.....and then the manager drove it up to the St. cloud location so we could swing in and pick it up on our way from northern Minnesota to Fargo where we were flying out very early the next morning! This meant the world to us and we will never forget what Jessica and the team did for us!! Thank you Thank you Thank you Stacy & Derek read more

Wedding Day Diamonds - Custom Eternity Anniversary Band on the beach in Negril Jamaica - Jewelry Near Me - Minnetonka, Minnesota

Wedding Day Diamonds in Minnetonka gave us nothing but a great experience! I got engaged with my grandmother's ring - which was about 2 sizes too small and had an arthritic shank put in. I came in here and was greeted immediately and treated with such care. The associate fully explained what would need to be done, sized my finger, gave us a cost & options on what to do with the leftover shank. We got genuine advice (keep the shank, I may need it later in life and the cost is high) and showed me exactly how the repair was going to go to ease my mind. We were quoted $630, when elsewhere they didn't even sit down with us to talk and gave us a $990 quote. We came back a week later to move forward with the process, we again were met with great conversation and customer service. They even gave me a custom size since I was unsure between a 5.5 and 6 (I got 5.75). They said I would get the ring back in 1-2 weeks, but it was done in less than 24 hours! The repair is flawless and my setting is perfectly in tact. If you need any repairs, I highly recommend! read more

Brought my ring in to be resized and agreed to have it refinished. When I got it back I expressed concern that it looked different and I said this is my not ring. They showed me the photo they took from when I dropped it off. It now looks different, feels lighter and has different engraving on the inside. Once again I was told I was wrong. I wish I would have never gone there And clearly will never go back. I feel cheated and my wedding band after 17 years on finger is crap. read more

I purchased a 1/2 ctw solitaire diamond necklace and it exceeded all expectations. Customer service was wonderful also- the staff were extremely responsive, and reached out several times with updates. Overall, they have a great selection of jewelry for a competitive price. Wedding Day Diamonds in Minnetonka has been so wonderful during our engagement and wedding journey. They helped us pick out the perfect engagement ring. We saved so much money picking a lab grown diamond!! It shines like crazy. Every time I come to Wedding Day, they always make time to clean my ring to make it look brand new again. We also purchased my wedding band from here because they have a really great life time warranty in case anything happens to my rings. I definitely recommend Wedding Day for your jewelry needs! read more

Wedding Day Diamonds - My beautiful engagement ring - Jewelry Near Me - Minnetonka, Minnesota

I don't have much to compare to as this was my first time in a jewlery shop, but this place gave us the royal treatment. My girlfriends and I stopped here to get the married girls ring's cleaned and the single girls a chance to try on rings and see what they liked. It was near closing time, but they stayed open to show us lots of options without rushing us. My friends were able to try on any ring they liked and then she kept record of it to send via email the next day! Great customer service and very bright and clean atmosphere! read more

I took some jewelry there to sell. I regretted it immediately. I don't think it's a great place to take custom made pieces as they only go by the weight of the gold and don't factor the artistic value a piece may have. They also won't buy your diamonds. Wish I knew that before rushing after work. The website said to bring in your unwanted jewelry. I still want to get rid of some diamonds and I'm feeling like I gave away a ring for less than a song. Get more than one quote so you can be sure you got the best price. Otherwise, the store is very nice. Good selection and visible pricing on many items. read more

We were hoping to have the ring I ordered for a family gathering and they were able to get it ready and kept me updated the entire time. Very impressed:) read more

One of the WORST customer experiences I've ever had! After seeing such great reviews and having friends buy their rings here I was super excited to visit the Minnetonka store. We made an appointment and showed up late on a Saturday and it was as if we didn't even have an appt. We were given free range and a box to look around and the sales person did not know much about custom rings which is what I requested. The second I told him we were going to use our own diamond he could not have been more disinterested. Even worse I witnessed another associate being super attentive and walking another couple through the process and apologized for her peer and our experience as she could see I was frustrated. Would NOT recommend!! read more

Loren is so much help!! It was our first time there and he made us feel so comfortable, at peace, and it was such an easy process!

We must have been the set of customers that had the exact opposite experience at Wedding Day Diamonds than all the rest of the folks on Yelp!. We went in looking for an engagement ring that would fit our needs. We were on the hunt for a loose alexandrite stone in order to set in a wedding band. Not easy since not many jewelers have loose gemstones sitting around their safe. The sales associate we spoke with was friendly but a bit greasy (in the used-car salesman kind of way). He took down my fiancé's information and called us a few days back when the two stones he was able to locate can in. He told us up front that he didn't know as much about alexandrite as he did about diamonds. I appreciated that honesty. However when the loose stones came in he blatantly lied about the types of suppliers that are out there for stones and told us that Black Box was really the only company who dealt with loose gemstones - and they just so happened to be one of the most expensive. Which we knew was bogus because my fiancé had done quite a bit of research on the gemstone prior to us beginning shopping. I think what really did it for me is that over the course of conversation, he shared with us that a guy had come in earlier that day and purchased an engagement ring with cash. And then proceeded to pull out his cell phone to show us the stacks of $100s that were in the safe with him posing like a "Boss". It was in terrible taste and needless to say we went with another, more professional, jeweler. This place and experience reminds me of a used car lot. Blech! read more

I proposed to my lovely lady in July '12 using her mom's setting and great-grandma's diamond, which was very fitting for her/us and very lucky for me because shopping for an engagement ring was a struggle for this guy. We decided to get a new setting and also needed wedding bands for the wedding in May. After trying another diamond store (ahem, Jared's) and not having a good experience I was dragging my feet to try again. Yup, one bad experience wrecked this fragile being. But since this isn't something you should buy online like I wanted, we tried Wedding Day. We dropped in on a Sunday afternoon, and had to wait - but both associates were really great about acknowledging us and apologizing for the wait. Once we were helped, Aaron was great to work with - he listened to what we wanted and we ended up ordering an engagement ring and both of our wedding bands. I was pleased with the cost, as it seemed fair from what I've come across, and the warranty is top notch. It was a very laid back experience and not stuffy at all, which we really appreciated. If you can't have fun dropping a lot of money then what's the point? Would recommend checking them out to anyone. read more

Not sure what to expect and the 3rd place I checked out Wedding Day was a breath of fresh air. Customer service, support, and teaching me what I needed to know made all the difference. (Thanks Brent Clark!!!) I told him what I wanted and thought I couldn't get it. We were on the same page -- he showed me an awesome diamond at an affordable price yet the value surpassed my expectations. Thank you!!! read more

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR JEWELRY HERE. My husband and I had the most horrific experience with Wedding Day Diamonds. We brought my wedding ring in for a simple prong fix. When we got the ring back we noticed it was different. They had changed the design on the side of my ring, all four of the prongs were different lengths, angles, and shapes, the diamond sat in the ring differently, and there was even ripples in the gold. It looked terrible. We brought it to their attention and they wanted a chance to fix it. We trusted them with it a second time which was a huge mistake. They did manage to make the prongs a lot better but the rest of the issues remained the same and this time managed to CHIP MY DIAMOND! Somehow it passed all their inspections and they didn't even bother to let us know. Seems like they were trying to cover it up. So once again we had to notify them and they wanted to fix it by polishing the rough edges of what was a perfect diamond! There is no way I would allow them to even touch my ring again. I wish I never would have went there because now my wedding ring will never be the same! If your jewelry means something to you please do not bring it here. I dont want anyone to go through the stress and disappointment we went through! read more

I work in the Bridal Industry and there are so many better jewelers to purchase through. My now husband got my engagement ring from them and after we purchased, found out was WAY over priced and they also hid facts about the upgrade policy from him, which made it IMPOSSIBLE (according to them) to ever use the value of my ring towards an upgrade. I have asked if there is ANY way to use our originally invested amount towards an upgrade now or ever, and they looked at me extremely confused and just said "No there is no way". Which when my husband was purchasing it they kept saying how fantastic the upgrade policy was and how all we have to do is spend $1.00 over that amount we originally paid. I will never send any of my clients/brides to this company. They seem great at first with big name designers, but they are cheating you on the price. read more

I visited the Eden Prairie location to look at engagement rings and worked with Marie Borneman. My girlfriend and I had visited many other jewelers before we went to the Wedding Day Diamonds in St. Louis Park. We really liked Wedding Day's stress-free, no commission sales strategy as well as it being a locally-owned company. We had even visited other Wedding Day Diamonds locations in the Twin Cities area but it was not until we met Andrea at the St. Louis Park location that we found the perfect ring. Andrea was immediately likeable and approachable. Within five minutes my girlfriend and I felt like we had known her for years and had narrowed down our search to a few rings. She brought out the perfect ring and my girlfriend simply said, 'that's it, that's the one." After we left I offered to drive to a few more jewelers but my better-half said even if we found the same ring at a lesser price she still wanted the ring from Wedding Day because Andrea just understood us and who we were. (I looked anyway and could not find the same ring anywhere). I went back to the SLP location later in the week to pick out a diamond for the ring. Again, Andrea picked out the perfect diamond and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes. We went back to pick out our wedding bands too. Everyone that we met and interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The finished rings are absolutely gorgeous. Traditionally, buying an engagement ring is supposed to be a stress-full event but Andrea and Wedding Day Diamonds made it an easy and enjoyable experience. I cannot recommend Andrea and Wedding Day Diamonds enough. read more

My fiancé and I were nervous about where to go, since we are in a same sex relationship. We knew we needed to go someplace that was open and potentially sensitive to the situation. We worked with Andrea and a few others and it was probably the best experience ever. I picked out my ring, my fiancée worked with Andrea who knew exactly what I wanted and was able to explain it to Julianne without any issues. She was friendly, knew her diamonds and really the best. I go back weekly still to get my ring cleaned and it is as if everyone is a friend! Potentially it is a bit more expensive, but well worth it! The most important part was us to get a great warranty and have a great experience. If you are looking for the best diamonds, bands and customer service- this will be the place! read more

The St. Louis Park location is where my fiancee got my engagement ring, my wedding gift, and both of our wedding bands. The service was great, they are very patient in explaining everything to first time diamond buyers, and the final products were just beautiful. I highly recommend them! read more

My first experience looking at diamond engagement rings went really well. Loren educated me on the basics of purchasing a diamond, I didn't realize how very little I actually knew about diamonds. I didn't feel pressured and really enjoyed looking at a lot of rings. I've narrowed it down to the style I like and now I feel really good about my decision. read more

The store is beautiful and the staff friendly and willing to take the time to listen. My 50+ year old rings now fit again and look like the day I first got them. read more

I was very displeased with my service and not impressed by the knowledge of the warranty of the rings. We bought almost a 6,000 dollar ring having knowledge that when we are ready to upgrade the value we paid would stay intact and that we would only need to spend more to receive the trade. This is so not the case. We feel tricked and taken advantage of. Now we have this ring we planned on upgrading, that ultimately has no value to wedding day. I will never shop here again. I chose this place because the ease of upgrades and trades and honesty. I feel they dont live up to their name and "no fine print " motto. read more

We shopped around at other places and didn't like the high-pressure sales tactics some stores used. Then my fiancé suggested Wedding Day. I was honestly skeptical at first but we went in, met Kristin Clark, and everything went perfectly from there. She listened to our suggestions, found a ring and diamond to match our needs, and we ended up getting way more engagement ring than we thought we could. Make sure you give them a try if you're in the market! read more

I've just started searching for an engagement ring for my girlfriend, and this was the 2nd store that I have been to. The first store I went was amazing, they were attentive, helpful, asked a lot of questions about what I was looking for, used my answers to help find other settings that fit, but that I may not have picked out otherwise, and knew exactly what rings they had in the store that would fit my style. When it came to look at loose diamonds there, they brought out some absolutely gorgeous loose diamonds (Amazingly cut, no color worse than F, and no clarity worse than VS1) that were all GIA certified and in my price range. I was in no hurry and was there for a little over 2 hours but it felt like 20 minutes. Here, it was the exact opposite. The salesperson I worked with had little interest in what I wanted, and seemed to not know much at all about what they had in stock that. She took one characteristic of a ring that I mentioned and quickly walked case to case pulling out a ring here and there looking at some and putting them back based entirely on the one characteristic, didn't ask what I like or didn't like about the ones I did see, and we went through their entire selection in 15 minutes (felt like an hours). When it came time to look at loose diamonds, I gave her the exact carat weight and price range that I had looked at in store one, but the stones that she brought me were absolute junk (no offense to junk). None of them were GIA certified, the best color and clarity that she showed me were I and SI 1, and the best stone she showed me was $800 MORE than the best one I saw at store one (and I even gave her the exact color, clarity, carat weight, and price of the stone at store 1). Until I started doing some online research for my ring none of those ratings meant anything to me, and even after reading online I wasn't convinced that I'd be able to see a difference when looking at an actual loose diamond, but Wedding Day convinced me otherwise. These stones were either yellow, or looked like a random piece of broken glass that you could pick up off the floor. I may have been convinced to buy a ring here by going back multiple times to look at settings, but after seeing the diamond selection and the prices they charge for quality, I will not be going back anytime soon. read more

Awesome Experience! I was a rookie when it came to diamonds and engagement rings but David at the St. Louis Park location was great! He was very enthusiastic and took the time to explain to me what I getting for my money. I first purchased an engagement ring and my Fiancee loved it. We went back and purchased wedding bands from Wedding Day Diamonds as well and both love them. I couldn't make up my mind on a wedding band size and ended up getting it resized 3 times. The staff never blinked an eye and completed each resize free of charge even though they had to purchase a new ring each time because it was tungsten carbide. You also can not beat the lifetime warranty that wedding day offers. I highly recommend wedding day diamonds and want to give a shout out to David, Aaron, Kate, and Jessica who all did a great job over the past couple of months helping my Fiancee and I buy our rings! read more
