They're always really quick to respond to maintenance requests. The property's well-maintained both inside and out. Lots of easy to access walking trails, plus a great dog park only about a mile away. Gym is small but is nice if there are only a few people. Most of the floors in the apartments are vinyl, and the carpet in the bedrooms is very clean! Nice appliances in the kitchen as well. Only a few downsides. Landlords are a bit slow to responding to smoking problems, especially with the entire property being smoke free. We had to report multiple occurrences of smelling marijuana coming through the walls over the span of at least a month before it quit happening. To add to this, the buildings also have very poor ventilation and regularly feel "stuffy", not great for people with allergies. The fragrance dispensers that are in the hallways don't help with this, they add to the discomfort of the dirty feel and foul smell throughout the common places of the building. Last thing is the apartment lacks ample storage, a few more cabinets in the kitchen and main bathroom would make it great!

Gordon (Part Owner) is a good christian man who always helped the tenants out if he could. And Dart was the Maintenance manager Then his brother in law got his feelings hurt and they hired a Management company to run the place. Blue stone and Hockley. They brought in a manager named Danny and in a few months ran this place into a hole. My furnace went out. They let me live all winter long with out heat. I was using my stove to heat the place and only after i threaten to move out and explained they would have to pay my expenses they fixed it or got the ball rolling to fix it. This was 2016 winter, then my toilet broke, for four months they fed me excuse after excuse so i stopped paying rent. Three months later we are in court and when the Joke of maintenance fixed several months later it took him 15 minutes. This place is expensive and not worth the cash that is being asked almost $1300 for a 900 square foot apt, The only thing in the club house is a TV, small pool, and the onsite manager is a joke. The previous staff were very indifferent and the least friendly women I've probably ever dealt with in a leasing office but whatever I didn't mind that too much. The new staff is very friendly and always smile and say hi which is refreshing! There was a roach infestation in several units during the staff turnover. They never got to my unit but my neighbor had some in hers. I feel like once the new staff were in, the problem was handled promptly and fumigators came but I know a lot of the people who lived in the units closer to "ground zero" were extremely unhappy and several broke leases. Which is understandable imo. I was really scared to move here because of the reviewer saying their neighbor smoked inside and the smell seeped through but my thinking was "what are the odds I'll have a smoking neighbor" so we moved in anyway and everything was fine for the first few months but then we had a new neighbor move in who started smoking in his unit and the smell instantly seeped into my unit it was horrible:( I emailed the office about it and they've talked to my neighbor twice now so hopefully they'll stop/get evicted soon. The smoking neighbor(who also just so happens to be very loud as well as smelly) is by far the worst thing about living here, but I know that's not the complex's fault. Other than that, the area the complex is in is nice and quiet and I feel moderately safe walking my dog at night.

It seeps into our apartment through the shared wall and is also very evident from the hallway. We have talked to management numerous times including during apartment inspections where they said this was one of the reasons for the inspections, going to the office to tell them twice, sending a message through the website and an email directly to the property manager, with no follow up or attempt from them to stop the smoking. This is a no smoking property but it is not being enforced whatsoever. We have purchased an air purifier, diffuser, and rearranged furniture to move away from the shared wall, but the cigarette smell is still overpowering. We are uncomfortable in our own apartment and the management team does not seem to care at all.
