(So sad) Jack's Place is such an awesome playground! The recommended age range is 5-12. There are so many neat aspects of it including some unique spinning "rides", numerous slides, swings, lots of places to climb and a rubberized digging zone. Plenty of field and a couple of picnic tables. I don't recommend eating there based on our experience yesterday. We were invaded by what looked like fruit flies times 1,000. It literally rained bugs on us at the picnic table within one minute of sitting down so we booked it out of there and ate down the street another playground before returning. There are a few different activities for the kids, some the same as the location in Penfield such as the sand pit (here it's rubber), the big standup spinner, and the signature dinosaurs. Plenty to keep the kids happy. My kids loved it here!

I was here at North Ponds Park on a nice Saturday morning in May 2019. The park itself is gorgeous…read moreand there's a 1 mile loop of paved asphalt that runs around it. Unfortunately for me, I happened to be there to run that 1 mile lap 26 times for the marathon distance. You see, my experience here at North Ponds Park involves a foot race called Mind the Ducks, which is a 12 hour ultra distance foot race event that is held annually around this time of the year in this park. As I got to know the park through it's scenery and majesty, I did enjoy the views along the two ponds that sprawled along this urban oasis. I did enjoy the ambiance that is the park, where I'm sure many residents come here on a regular basis. The air was clean and the park itself was very much clean and plenty of trees to help beautify the area. I did enjoy the fact that there were plenty of ducks here, which coincidentally was the name of the event that I had participated in. The mile lap included a nice little steep hill about 1/4 mile in from the parking lot. I started to hate traversing that section after 10 laps in, but the weather was perfect that day and the park itself seemed to cheer me along. I was happy to be there, loop after loop. The overall experience here at North Ponds Park could categorized as being exhausting, fun, and an adrenaline rush. Not many people Can do this, But the park itself is a great place for anyone and everyone to enjoy the Great outdoors and the open areas that is made possible by the local government. For the most part though, it was always a pleasure to see parks and other open areas in different areas of the country. It may look the same from place to place, but it always is different. The grounds are maintained by the good folks at the City of Webster New York. It also has a nice bathroom near the parking lot, which was a blessing for me since I had to use it about four times during my stay at this park. The bathroom is self was to be clean and adequate and not grungy and smelt bad, which was refreshing. The North Pond Park is located at 750 Holt road in Beautiful Webster New York. Since this is a public park, there is no admission fee required to come here and chill out. That's right folks, it is absolutely awesome to be here with anybody and everybody without having to pay money! With that said, as aforementioned before, there is a generous parking area for everyone and everyone to park their vehicle. The main parking lots in holes about roughly 40 cars. And there is a alternate parking that possibly has about 20 to 25 cars, but it is about half a mile on the other side of the park. This alternate entrance also a good option for anyone that can't find parking in the main lot. For the most part though, the scenery at North Ponds Park was nice and blessed to be here, no matter what excuse I had to come here. It was nice to traverse the paved mile loop 26 times to knock off another marathon distance here in New York and feel confident that I can still do it. The venue was gorgeous and I always focused my energies and thoughts on the mini lakes aka ponds and the Ducks that makes their home here. I'm sure everyone and anyone enjoys this park each day whenever you're here. Definitely would like to recommend coming to this park if you are in the area. Watch out for that steep rise along the mile loop though. It's a doozy! 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! A+

Finding it not far from 104 it was a quick stop from the city. Come to find this neat little park is quite pretty. There's a few small trails that are on the main map and a few longer ones slightly off the trail that are marked on the map as well. If you're looking for a leisurely walk through a park or to just stop and smell the peonies this is your place to go. While we were there two good trucks were parked, not sure if it was typical or for a party that was going on in the lodge but the location seems very accessible for small gatherings like graduation parties or weddings.

Sporting fields nearby are usually populated by soccer teams, softball players or folks playing frisbee catch with their pooch. On the canalside, you can catch families out for a stroll, plein air artists or couples walking hand in hand. It's a picture perfect location with a distinct view of the canal.

A great opportunity for kids to socialize in the COVID times - though I think the playground is technically made for kids 2 and up. In addition to standard swings and slides, they have a modern seesaw, ground level spinner ride, egg spinners, and a boat that adults could sit in (making up my own names). The ground feels like a padded mat so easier on the hands and knees for falls. I feel comfortable with my 2 yo running around without major scrapes. There are bathrooms nearby and a covered shelter with picnic tables. That's the only area where there's some shade unfortunately. Parking lot next to the town hall. Fun place for kids and adults!

We parked on the East Bay Drive entrance (which has a very steep but short climb to view the bluffs). Please note the east entrance to the Bluff Trail has a limited number of parking spots with two porta-potty units instead of a full restroom. This is NOT the main entrance to the state park (which offers a larger parking lot and picnic benches). Although we did not have enough time to explore the other sections of the park or walk the full 1.3 miles of the Bluff Trail, I think the dramatic view of the drumlins with Lake Ontario in the background was more than worth the 1 hour drive from Penn Yan (on Keuka Lake) where we stayed for vacation. Another benefit of parking on the east end of the Bluff trail is that you have convenient walking access to Dragon View Beach (a popular spot to go swimming in the summer).
