Forgive this long overdue review but in the…read morespirit of netter late than never I offer you the following: As a small landlord finding the right people to do small to medium size home improvements or electrical jobs is nearly impossible. That is qualified people that know what they are doing and that are licensed. I'm not talking about day-laborers pretending to know contracting and assemble by the contractor section of the local Home Deposit or outside of a paint shop. I'm talking about licensed and professional contractors to do jobs too small for the home improvement companies. All I can say is that one small job gave me the confidence to have these chaps do more. From installing the over the range microwave to building permanent closet structures. My hardwired front door building call box with monitor didn't work. They fixed it. Quickly and with a reasonable price. I love accumulating miles and paying by credit card wasn't a problem, Fast, reasonable and professional, for what else can one ask?

I was recommended to this company by my friend who lives in queens. She told me they had just…read moreinstalled a split unit at her apt and that they were very professional. While I live in Jersey city and had several companies give me quotes on installing dual ac split units, this company by far was way way cheaper than any other company by about 10k. These american companies really are charging highway robbery prices. These things are a lot of work to install though. The company had to send over 4 guys to install 2 ACs and the outside condenser unit. I live in an old brownstone with very thick brick walls, so they had to drill through all of that which was a lot of dust and noise. I wish I had known ahead of time. I would suggest that you cover your furniture and tables or there will be dust everywhere. I had to do extensive cleaning afterwards. The split unit they brought me is Mitsubishi, which I think is a great brand. The units look sleek and are fairly small. One is a 9000btu for the bedroom and another 12000btu for the living room/kitchen area. They work great! No complaints so far. I even paid an extra $1000 because I told them that I need brown outdoor pipe covers. They typically have white which would look terrible on my brick building. The brown actually blends in nicely and the unit isn't so much of an eyesore. It was very much worth it. I live next to the highway, and I had portable AC units before and they do not work in large homes. My apt is only 750sq ft and my two portable units barely would keep the place cool. Now with the split units, my apt is cool as a cucumber. And in the winter they double for added extra heating if needed. I'm super happy with my install although when they were installing they told me I had to install in a certain area because the lines would be to long if not and it would make the system inefficient. I wanted the condenser in the back of the building but my railroad apt would be to long for the lines. I'm surprised not more families install split units. The units are very quite and come with timers and remotes.

I had a frustrating experience with AC Center related to a Con Edison Clean Heat rebate. They…read moresubmitted a $50 "instant rebate" on my behalf without my knowledge or consent. Their invoice--while showing a $50 rebate--had no invoice number, no signature, and I never interacted with them directly. I worked exclusively with my installer, Arimizer Inc., and paid full price for the system and installation. I initially called them, and when the woman answered the phone, her answer was "the computers are down." When I reached out to AC Center for clarification, they never responded to any of my emails. Their lack of transparency and accountability has led Con Edison to reduce my rebate eligibility from $8000 to $4000 based on a rebate I never received. I've filed formal complaints with Con Edison, the Better Business Bureau, and the NYS Department of Public Service. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this supplier--especially if rebates or incentives are involved.

Tidy Mc Services provided the best level of care for my home. Im a first time home buyer and I needed my entire place cleaned up before I moved in. The tenants that occupied the space previously did not maintain the apartment at all. When I closed on the condo, the kitchen was a huge mess with grease all over the cabinets and walls, the bathroom was filthy and the bedrooms had garbage all over. This condo is basically fixer-upper. A friend recommended this cleaning company to me and I was impressed with how well they cleaned every nook and cranny. The kitchen cabinets and counters were cleaned from all the grease left before and the bathroom was left smelling great. They honestly made my whole apartment smell great. My condo felt like a place I could feel comfortable living in as I slowly make some home improvements little by little. I would definitely recommend to any of my friends or family members. They were very understanding to my needs and seemed to actually care about providing a great level of service. Will be using again! Thank you so much!

We worked with this company for over a year with no issues, other than the fact that they kept…read moresending random cleaners without giving us an option, despite our repeatedly telling them to re-schedule the cleaning if a "regular" cleaner that's familiar with our apartment isn't available. They recently sent over a new cleaner that was not only inexperienced, but nicked our granite countertop with the iron grates from the stove while cleaning them in the sink. Of course, the cleaner denied doing so, and we proceeded to contact the company to file a claim and request a repair. The nick was as tiny as one can imagine, (photos attached) and likely would cost around $50 to repair. Here's our experience: - The "manager" Mercy is naturally defensive, and didn't fail for be defensive here, either - She asked if I took pictures of the countertop prior to the cleaning service to prove the nick wasn't there before (because we all take pictures of our countertop daily, right?) or have video of the damage occurring (they seem to expect me to follow the cleaners with a camcorder) - Radio silence for 2 weeks - We finally emailed them, asking why they haven't scheduled our bi-weekly cleaning - They "paused" our account, meaning no cleaning until the claim is dispositioned - 3 weeks in, we received an email stating the claim is denied, AND THE ACCOUNT WILL ALSO BE CLOSED. This is how they treat customers. "we're here for you" and "satisfaction guaranteed" is beyond a lie, it's pure deception and just a slogan to hook clients. The ONE TIME we reported an issue was met with unprofessional defensiveness, a lack of communication, and being dropped. This is an amateur firm; go with someone else that's reputable and stands by their work. I expect a typical defensive response from this fly by night operation, to which I will use to update this review.
