I traded two really nice pistols for a 1977 Colt Python that was supposed to have the original box to it. The old man (Ray) that works behind the counter told me the original box was in the safe and the owner was out of town. Long story short there was never an original box. As an avid Colt Collector the original box is quite important on a 1977 Colt. I came by several time to get the box but of course I got the run around. This place sucks and is the most dishonest gun dealer I have ever seen. This kind of stuff will get you a really bad reputation where I come from. If you just want to buy some high priced garbage this is the place to go. if you are a gun collector avoid this place like the plague! read more

I have been a member of the gun range for the past 3 years and enjoyed every trip until recently!!! The range has begun to allow rapid firing on rifle and handgun range!!! The reasoning is it OK if it is done safely!!! It only takes one knucklehead to cause an accident with possible deadly consequences!!! I have spoken to the owner and he says that it is not allowed!!! The range officer was sitting on his fat butt in his truck when it started today!!! I packed and left ASAP!!! Will not be renewing my membership!!!! read more

They actually insult you for asking legitimate, non-beginner questions.* When they're not insulting you, they're being slow, crabby, or acting annoyed at having to do their jobs. Add to this high prices and a poor selection, and you see the problem. I go here when I'm in town because it's my relatives' preferred gun store. *As an example, I asked which type of ammo would be easiest on my gun's bore. He told me "none" then glared at me like I'm an idiot, and "informed" me that shooting the gun wears out the barrel. No s***, Sherlock, that's why I asked you what's better. read more

This is the best gunstore in central Texas. Everyone is so nice and respectful. The store is incredible and reminds me of a Colorado ski lodge. I was able to put a gun on layaway without following any strict rules of how much to put down etc. Very professional! read more
