Scam Alert Don't buy…read morehere! Don't waste your hard-earned money at this dealership. They are scammers. This dealership is nothing but a den of scammers, ready to swindle you out of your hard-earned cash. Their mechanics? Nothing but liars. I reached out to inquire about a 2009 Volkswagen GTI with 85K miles, as advertised on Carfax. They assured me it was ready for a test drive. However, during the drive, the car behaved strangely, and a mysterious light popped up. When I questioned the Sales Manager, he brushed it off, attributing it to my driving on a rough road. Their mechanic magically turned off the light. They assured me the car was in excellent condition and well-maintained, but that was far from the truth. The Carfax history was sketchy, indicating no recent inspection. When questioned, they hastily explained that they had performed all necessary repairs after receiving the car as a trade-in. False assurances were given that any issues could be brought back for fixing--empty promises. After shelling out $8000 and driving home, the check engine light illuminated, and I discovered severe windshield damage undisclosed during the purchase. Upon contacting Juan, the Sales Manager, he requested I return the car the following week. Their mechanic, using ODB2, erased the check engine light, claiming they forgot to reset it after maintenance. Skeptical, I consulted another mechanic who provided a lengthy list of issues: steering wheel column problem, transmission malfunction (no reverse), cooling system problem, and mass airflow problem. Returning with a written diagnostic from an independent mechanic, I requested that they fix the issues. Speaking to Juan in Spanish, the mechanic confirmed the problems because using an ODB2 scanner he saw the same errors. He declared they wouldn't fix anything because they sold the car "as-is." I reminded him of their obligation to disclose all issues, per the law. In response, he exploded in anger, even threatening violence if I didn't leave. I walked away. Before leaving, their mechanic, at Juan's instruction, erased the check engine light once again. Doing extensive research on the car's VIN number revealed that it had failed safety and emission tests before being sold to me. I am now stuck with a car I can't drive because it is not safe to operate. I am also out of over $8000. I strongly advise staying away from this deceitful company. Save yourself the trouble and keep your money safe.

Two experience perspectives below. Would give 2.5 stars if I could because one was a 5 star and the…read moreother a 1 star. But always recommend you do your research and go with your gut. These are just my experiences. Experience #2 2022 Traded in our larger family car for a smaller, safe suv for my daughter's first car - she has her permit so her practice driving was gonna be in this car. Found a decent looking Ford Escape with low miles. Had a couple of concerns on the test drive that were dismissed in a manner that made sense at the time. Unfortunately they wound up being a little more serious - 3 tires that needed patches and a bad battery that impacted the electrical system. On top of all that, less than 1 month into ownership the transmission (torque converter) started causing a shutter between 35/45mph. I mentioned some of the issues to CAG via text and email - was nice about it at first - but was told that because the car I traded in wound up having transmission issues (which we had discussed prior to the deal) there was no room for good will. Ok. I had the warranty anyway. I had asked for a warranty that would cover everything minus a deductible and purchased it. Low and behold the warranty actually will only cover about half the cost - so $1500+ out of pocket.(Was told I should have read the fine print. Yep. I should have.) Told the dealer this and again was given several reasons why they were not responsible for any of it - with the exception of an offer to possibly reimburse for the battery. So their website says they "stand behind their cars" but in this case they were several hundred miles behind it. Major repairs like this within less than 90 days... shouldn't be the customer's full responsibility. They never offered to have their own mechanic look at it. Never asked any questions or expressed any concern for the issues. Didn't ask if my daughter had gotten stuck on the side of the road or anything. It turned into a back and forth with no resolution not even agreement wherein both sides don't win but also don't lose. I'm out the money for the car, the warranty and the repair. Buyer beware I guess. Experience#1 2019 Cody and Duke took great care of my elderly parents. We were looking for an affordable, but comfortable and reliable vehicle. The CAG team were fair, and certainly went far above and beyond what one would expect from a car buying experience. Respectful, caring and sincere. Thank you!

I contacted Duke and returned immediately to his mechanic I was informed that the 02 sensor was bad he first refused to replace it but did agree. He ordered the sensor and I came back and it was replaced. After leaving the shop before I got home again the light came back on, I contacted Duke immediately he told me to stopped back by and he would check it. This was also done, now he said that the Cadillac converter was bad and that he was not going to replace it. Keep in mine I never got home with the van before the light came on both times. I will be pursuing this further.

As per the questions when you book online - I said I would wait for the vehicle. I reiterated the same when asked by the attendant when I checked in for the appointment scheduled for Friday March 6th at 11:00 am. After waiting for 90 minutes as the waiting room cleared - I checked again with the attendant - who went back and checked before he told me it would be ANOTHER HOUR FOR JUST AN OIL CHANGE ! Imagine my surprise - when I asked why I got the atypical - we are short handed. I might add that he could have cared less, shrugged his shoulders and walked away. So I am not sure about you but, I have never seen any dealer take 2 1/2 hours for an oil change.. I was not offered any discount, apology or anything in fact I had to check on the vehicle again at the 2 1/2 hour mark.

We informed them of these issues on our 2nd service visit, they said they needed to order the parts. We brought the car back for the 3rd service and they noted there was a mistake made and needed to order the parts, they would call when they arrive. After about 4 weeks of waiting I called to get an update, they noted someone would call me back. Waited another week, no call back. So I called today, same run around - someone will call you. I called parts, they noted they have the parts on the shelf. Needless to say, I am moving my business Cadillac of South Monroe. I would think twice before taking your vehicle to Hendrick Cadillac Monroe. We switched from Land Rover to Cadillac, thinking Land Rover's service had deteriorated - with that being said, Land Rover's worst day of service is far better than Cadillac's best day.
