Never again! I love supporting local business! It was recommended by a fellow veteran at the VA, and It's on my way home from work so I figured I'd stop. I should have gotten a clue when I saw a gentleman walk in and walk right back out....Im walking around and immediately notice I am the only person of color in the store, not even an employee. The customers just stared, none of the employees spoke. The cashier acted like it was a big inconvenience, she didn't even want to speak...the craziest part and older gentleman checked out or didn't I'm not sure but he sat on a bench and just stared at me. In this economy these small grocery stores need the business, you'd think a store like that off the main highway would be the best option, but that store definitely is off of my list. read more

I enjoy shopping here as the meats are extremely fresh, the baked goods are delicious, the deli has great prices and friendly staff. On a recent Friday night, I decided to have dinner in the snack bar. I ordered my usual favorite of boneless pork ribs, mac and cheese, and fries for my second side. The portions are still humungous along with reasonable prices. One issue with my dinner was that the ribs and mac and cheese was not served at proper temperature. I assume this was due to being 30 minutes until the snack bar closed? read more

It is so incredibly bad for our environment to be using styrofoam and disposable utensils as much as the snack bar uses. The amount that you must go through blows my mind. Not only is it clogging up landfills and making its way into our oceans, styrofoam releases a chemical when heated up (or placing hot food onto/into it) which has been found to cause cancer. I've grown up going to your store with my parents and only within the last few years I have massively limited going to your snack bar for this very reason. If you aren't familiar with some environmental issues, please do some research. There are better options for waste products that are decomposable and recyclable. We camp often in the area so finding a grocery store with ready made affordable meals somewhat close has been a Godsend! After all why do I want to waste my time while camping to cook?!? As someone who typically shops at Giant (and hates it) this place is day/night difference. Perks: No screaming kids or tons of people Every register had a bagger Grocery store was eerily quiet which is welcoming large selection of bulk dry goods - snacks, nuts, mixes, etc friendly employees and customers no bonus card needed and of course their strength is the hot buffet and ready to eat meals - delicious! However there were a few areas that were a disappointment: -Deli had limited lunch meats and the non generic ham I got there was not chipped as requested and a brand I never heard of. It was full of fatty spots and had a weird texture and smell. -The produce department was limited, as was the ethnic food department -A few of the employees at the buffet area were slow and inefficient and seemed to wander around the area aimlessly while customers were waiting. Otherwise I'll be back to hit up that hot buffet! read more

One of my favorite grocery stores mostly for all their home made food that you can buy made and ready to go! They also have an awesome prepackaged candy isle with all sorts of old fashioned candies you normally can't find at the regular supermarkets! They also have a great meat section where you can find amazing deals on steaks, chicken, burgers, and much more. All of the staff are so sweet and you can always find someone around if you need assistance. Our favorite things to get when shopping here is their macaroni salad, cheesecake desserts, and their AMAZING chicken salad! Another unique thing about weavers is they have a trailer out front called the wagon that has all sorts of food you can order, the menus changes daily but the food is super cheap and always delicious! Also at the other end of the store is another trailer that sells sorft pretzels! We love supporting independently owned stores so I love shopping here! Only negative comment is the interior of the store is very dated but that's just a minor issue! read more

I have been born and raised into shopping and supporting This wonderful store for many decades and still will try to Support them as best as I can for it was a GrassRoots family kinda store that everyone knew everyone but...of course as time moves on So does people and new fresh faces must take over and fill those spots which is ok ...except at a lost of personality ( friendliness ) and kindership ( like family helping and caring ) not just additude of sorry I really don't care what you want or need just go away and ask someone else I'm almost done with my shift or I'm busy chatting with Another employee about something not important or I'm on my cell phone texting my boy friend go away....really should be NO CELL PHONES on floor while on duty !! Snack Bar is the worst for both cell phone texting and employee (kids) hiding and chit chatting in back not wanting to take or being ( selective ) in who they want to take orders from. I know your desperate for workers but can you find some with personality of ...I care I got a job and I like to keep it...oh and a dash of I like people too !! The Store is great !!! We love coming here for lunch. One of the last of its kind. Very affordable and great for the whole family.

Weaver's is a wonderful home town grocery store. We have found their meats department to be better than the large chain stores. I only buy my lunch meat from Weaver's. They also have delicious home made soups and desserts. I grab their desserts whenever I am going to a party. I love how the employees take extra care to pack my groceries. The bags are delicately packed and don't rip as is walk to the car. read more

I am admittedly writing this review for tourists.Weavers is the local supermarket and you should definitely go if you are interested in food .There are a number of local products available. You won't imagine you're in Whole Foods or at the other extreme C Town .This is a real local place.They have a good partially beeswax based moisturizer, Kaufman's cider,local corn grits and a great variety of scrapple. read more

We ate here yesterday. Probably the 4th or 5th time, usually combined with shopping. Never had issues before! Yesterday however it seemed a lot of the staff had changed. At the cafeteria style food counter... I am talking home style usually good food attended by caring women...was a flock of cellphone generation. Mentioning this will hopefully spark conversation that managment needs to have on a regular basis with new staff. How do you treat a customer... especially when there is a customer having a complaint! Rather for the servers behind the counter purposely ignoring a complaint or pretending they are not recognizing a customers needs to be attended to, they are talking on cell phones or talking to each other not performing customer service as they should be! Food services should not allow the staff to carry cell phones... it is not just bad business practice, it is also very disrespectful to the customer. Usually I am very tolerant towards food servers or waitresses and waiters they have to take the heat for the food taken out of the kitchen. This time I have to say the behavior of the staff behind the counter was horrible... if not followed up on.. the business will suffer. No doubt. read more

Weaver's is one of my favorite grocery stores, admittedly because they have a large selection of prepared foods at reasonable prices. I typically stick up on soups, pot pies, pulled pork, and the like to keep in the freezer for times I don't want to cook. Along with that, they have everything you would expect from a grocery store. They also have some gift items and a luncheonette that provides a decent meal at a great price. The wagon wheel food truck in front of weavers always has amazing bargains for lunch. read more

When I first came to the area, I thought this was a nice grocery store to shop at but then a few things happened. When I noticed I had a question about something while I was shopping or needed help, I couldn't find an employee to get help from. I found out all the employees there wear random clothes, so there's no way to identify them. They all look like customers. Next I started shopping around at other grocery stores, even mom and pop ones, I found that weavers was much more expensive then the other stores. There weekly adds/sales do not compare to other stores. I have since stopped going here and have taken my business elsewhere. read more

The grocery store is fine, but their cashiers have some of the worst customer service I have seen. I've been in numerous times and never had a cashier look me in the eye, smile and say "thank you". I feel like more of an inconvenience to them than anything. I leave telling myself I'm never going back. read more
