Aaron gave us a 20 minute heads up that he was on his way and he arrived within the timeframe that we chose. The service he provided was polite, friendly and professional. We didn't need heavy furniture moved so all we had to do to prepare was move some smaller things off the floor in each room. It took a total of 30 minutes for 4 rooms, one hallway and stairs. We had excellent service and the price was what we expected. The entire experience went very well and we'd definitely recommend them.

The HVAC company arranged for the asbestos removal and then installed the furnace and AC. Modernistic came back out and were here 5 minutes. Said they couldn't clean them because there was no "trunk" and that they need that to cut the whole for their vacuum, that they were not able to access the round duct pipes. No explanation for why I wasn't told that on the first visit but was told to reschedule. 2 different days sitting at home for them to come only for them to decline the work. I have someone else coming. I sent pictures of the furnace and ducts and they said no problem.

They were hired for all air vents and a dryer cleanout on a 2,000 sq. ft. house, and particularly a bad smell coming in the laundry room. On the day of the cleaning Chris and Lee arrived during the agreed upon time window. I showed Lee around the house to the various vents and asked questions about the places I couldn't fully clear a path to the vent. The house's vents hadn't been cleaned during the time I've owned the place so it needed significant work. The same applied for the dryer. The cleaning took roughly 3 hours. I think they did a good job and made sure to take care of cleaning any messes their work caused. The one exception was the dryer blow-out which was left under the outdoor vent. My single gripe was that the final price ended up $100 over the original quote without discussion. However, it was clear that they had a lot of work to do that couldn't have been known without taking a look at things.

We called Pure Ducts out to clean our vents on our older home. They did fantastic work for a great price. We were thrilled when our condo chose pure ducts to uninstall and reinstall all the ductwork for a major structure project. Chris was very cool and let us do some upgrades (that we paid for, beyond the job the condo association scoped out) and BOY... our house is SO much more comfortable!!!! What I appreciate about Chris and his entire team is they focus on doing a job VERY well. Details matter, and they know more than just ducts. It would rather stink to pay $50, have them come out and then the price is way more than other estimates that I've already received and then I'm out $50 and have to still pay additional money for someone else to do it? No thanks. Why would I have them come out when they can't even give me an estimate. I told them what the issue was, other establishments were able to give me an estimate at the least.

I was told they did the location, which was not too far from the previous location. DUSTOUT was a small company of 3 or 4 people, including the owner when I had my parents' ducts cleaned, and there was no answering service back in January. In fact, I spoke with the owner himself, who was helpful and knowledgable. In that they were a small company, I wanted to help them by making a point to give them a good review for good service. Fast forward to now, they have a whole answering service apparatus with a phone tree. Everyone loves an answering service with a phone tree! /s So I left a message with the details of the new job. They said they would call back. They didn't. I called *three more times* over the space of a week. I emailed the owner. Nothing. Crickets. I asked if they had new ownership and they said, "no". I asked for an estimate like last time, and now they tell me that they don't give estimates before they arrive. Now, one is supposed to allow them to come and they will tell you how much the job is after they arrive to do the job. (?) Who would agree to that? Not sure what to believe about DUSTOUT now. I have *still* not received a call back. I have not received an email back. So I hired another small company. I'll keep you guys posted on the job he does. I guess DUSTOUT used to be great, but I have no idea what is going on at this company now.
