Their solution was to add two turbines to prevent heat buildup and future damage. In late 2024, I discovered a leak in my kitchen ceiling. First Star immediately blamed my solar panels, but my solar company confirmed the leak was nowhere near their system. Soon after, another leak appeared in my living room ceiling where no panels exist. An independent roofer later confirmed that the attic ventilation was not properly addressed, the roof decking is compromised, and there are now five separate leaks. The results have been devastating: costly mold remediation, multiple ceiling repairs, and two years of mold-related health issues. This is exactly what I paid First Star to prevent. To make matters worse, I've called and emailed repeatedly--including to the Director of Operations and the owner--for over six weeks without a single response. First Star not only failed to deliver on their promises but left me with tens of thousands in damage. I would strongly warn others not to trust them with your home.
