It was during our newborn photo session that I really got to see all sides of her photography and personality. First, her studio is amazing. She has so many options for props, backgrounds and outfits. I felt like we were at a Hollywood photo studio for babies. You don't have to bring any outfis. She has everything. Second, she handles babies with the utmost care. My baby was a bit fussy and didn't really want to take pictures. Lily automatically took control of soothing and comforting my daughter. She was not rushing my baby to calm down. She took her time and made sure that my daughter was at ease. She has such a warm spirit and definitely a mother's touch. He did not disappoint! My best advice would be to trust him and his skills as a photographer implicitly. 1. He gives plenty of direction in terms of body placement, posture, hand placement, etc. to give you flawless photos. If you are new to being photographed like me, you'll find this kind of direction extremely helpful and comforting. 2. At the same time, he creates a very calm, light, and fun atmosphere that creates true, genuine moments between you and your significant other. We are two people that usually feel very uncomfortable in front of a camera, however we had such an enjoyable experience with Allen. 3. I really encourage anyone using Allen's services to listen to his recommendations. For example, our original scheduled date was cloudy and overcast. He recommended that we wait for sun if we truly wanted to be happy with our photos. We are so grateful to have listened to him, because the results were wonderful (see attached). There are other photographers that will say that cloudy weather is actually better, however with Allen's technique and skill set, he can do incredible things with the light. We received our wedding photos just a few days ago and I just can't get over how talented these guys are! It's absolutely incredible how they are able to capture emotion. I can't even tell you how many times at my wedding someone would suggest we pose for a picture and I'd turn around to find Joe...and there he was standing right behind me! Picking a wedding photographer is the one thing that really stressed me out during the planning…read moreprocess. Photographers are expensive, and I had a budget to stick to, but a good photographer is one of the most important parts of the day. I talked to a bunch at the Dallas Bridal Show. The ones I really liked were way out of my price range, the ones I liked within my price range were all booked up or I just didn't mesh with and couldn't see myself working with, and the ones I could afford clearly weren't the best photographers. I was at a loss of what to do. Then I found Convey Studios. They were in my price range, and I loved the photos I saw, but to be honest, I wasn't sold at first. I reached out to Sesha who is such a joy to work with, and I liked her immediately. She explained to me that she has a number of photographers that work for her, and I would be using one of them if I chose to go with her. She let me know who was available on my wedding date, told me to look at their portfolios and pick out who I liked, and then we would meet up for a drink to discuss everything. I chose a few that I liked, but I have to say I was a little leery about it. I wanted to meet the photographer I would be working with. I feel like you have to get along with them otherwise they can really ruin your day. I actually just experienced this while in another bride's wedding. She didn't get to meet the photographer and the lady was awful and the bride was miserable. Going into the meeting, I of course was still unsure, and then I met Sesha. All my worries disappeared because she is in fact amazing. We sat and talked for a good hour. She got to know me and my husband as well as tried to understand the vision we had for our wedding day to the best that she could. She frantically took notes, asked a ton of questions that I never could have thought of to help her better understand, and then she told us that while the photographers I had initially chosen would be great she thought we would be a better fit with Copeland. I loved that she did that, and she made a great call. A tiny part of me was still a very little bit concerned that I wouldn't get to meet Copeland until our engagement shoot, but Sesha made me feel so good about the whole thing that I tossed that worry aside. Copeland ended up being fantastic. He was great to work with for the engagement shoot and the wedding day. After engagement pictures I was 100% confident in him for the wedding, and he was super easy to get along with, which made the day much less stressful. He called me the day before the wedding to go over everything, which was really great. He had no problem listening to what I wanted or didn't want and wasn't pushy about anything. Sesha put together a perfect timeline of pictures for the day, and everything went perfectly. He got so many great pictures. The best part is that he loves to be on the dance floor, and he gets this awesome array of candid shots of everybody. These are some of the best pictures. He also got some really nice ones of couples, friends, and families. And he made sure to check in with me about 15 minutes before he was scheduled to leave to see if there was anything else I wanted to make sure he got. Such great customer service. Once the night was over Copeland sent all the pictures to Sesha for editing. She does a great job by the way. We got a sneak peak of pictures about 2 weeks after the wedding, and then probably 3 days later we got all the pictures. I believe she guarantees them around 3 weeks. I thought for sure we would get them later because the timeline fell over Thanksgiving, but she exceeded our expectations and got them to us early! Such a great surprise. And we got so many pictures. 500+ with full print release. All of them are phenomenal, and I've received so many compliments on how beautiful they are. I could not have asked for a better team to work with. And while you have the right to print your photos however you want, Sesha offers really great prices to print them with a lab. I was stunned to see how reasonable they are. Don't stress yourself out looking for a photographer. Talk to Sesha (she's also a wonderful photographer), and if she's not available she'll hook you up with the best photographer for you. Seriously. Stop shopping around and set up a meeting with her. You won't regret it.

From the moment that I saw Sesha's website, I fell in love with her style and knew that I wanted her as my photographer. She, and Convey as a whole, were more than a wedding vendor; they were my friends during my wedding season. Although the months leading up to the wedding were stressful, I knew that of all my vendors, Sesha was the one person who would come through on the big day and she proved me right in the end. Sesha, Diego, and Matt were so easy to work with and were very flexible with last minute changes on the day of our wedding. Their calm, reassuring, and positive attitudes were a huge benefit to us, especially for a stressed out bride like myself.
