Further, the sign-in process via IOS registration at the front was easy, easy, easy! North Tarrant Smiles, aka Miles Dental, is virtually a two-man operation. The receptionist (Clint) is also the dental hygienist, who wears quite a bit of hats within the office (from preparing X-rays to maintaining the dental tools) in addition to controlling the registration & payment processes. Dr. Miles is thorough and maintains a very calming demeanor throughout that I can only describe as "quiet assurance" that everything will be okay with your dental procedure. One of the highlights of my dental visit was in Dr. Miles explaining my X-ray on the 55-inch flat screen television on my left while I reclined in his dental chair. Pretty informative, if not revealing when explaining the condition of my teeth & gums with the X-ray's remarkable clarity. Looks like I'll be coming here for a while!

September 2025: when I called they did inform me that they were not in network; however I let it be known I had worn a partial tooth for over 3 decades and I had lost it. I specifically asked for a consultation on how much that would cost with my insurance being out of network. BEFORE making appt i reiterated i wanted a consultation only and asked if there would be any fee to me being out of network. 'No, your consultation is covered.' CONSULTATIONS ARE NOT FREE apparently , they billed my insurance subsequently for a $91.00 visit out of network. They got paid $46.00 and I received a prompt text that I needed to pay an additional $45.00! I don't really care they got paid the $46.00 but to harass me for $45.00 for 6 minutes of being with the 'Doctor' to tell me it would be $1000 out of pocked for tooth #7 flipper is outrageous. NO X-RAYS: nothing but a few minutes of 'consultation'. SO I GUESS SHE WANTS TO MAKE $910/hr if you extrapolate that math????? before hardware??????? Also big shout out to the staff, the treatment coordinator gave me an accurate and fair quote before the treatment over the phone (many I called would not do this) and was very pleasant. I also really appreciated Dasia the dental assistant, she has a lot of experience and her calming and pleasant demeanor definitely helped ease my nerves (I am a very nervous patient lol). Aug 18, 2014, my 16 yrs old had all her 3 wisdom tooth pulled out by Dr Kim. In the processing of her healing.... The end 1st week, she started to develop an infection on her cheek where she was injected to mum from the outside of her cheek for the procedure. Concern arise and I called the office to ask if I should bring her in to have the doctor's look at her. When called, I was told, "the doctor only comes to the office once a month". I was a bit confused as to why only once a month. I asked to see any doctor in the practice, and was told again that the doctors are only in once a month and suggested to rise mouth with water and salt. Two days later, I grew more concern and called the office again, I was told, Dr Kim lives in Vegas and only comes to the office once a month, I was not offer to see any other doctors what so ever, for which I had thought that would had been the routine. I was left with the understanding that Dr Kim is the ONLY doctor lives in Vegas and only comes to service Wisdom procedures once a month in that office. By 2nd week, her cheek swells more, I called the office again, I asked if I can just bring her in for any doctors to just look at her. I was told to bring her in to see a general dentist on 9/22/2014. The general dentist looked at her..nothing was done but said to rinse with salt and give it some times to heal till her follow up appointment with Dr. Kim. I was a bit relief that at lease a doctor within the office was able to see her, yet, I was still very concern due to the swelling. By 3rd week, She developed puffs so bad, her whole cheek swelled up toward her eye. With the General dentist told me to give it more times to heal and the office staffs telling me Dr. Kim lives in Vegas only comes to the office once a moth...I was devastated. With no hope and much concerns, I took her to see my family doctor on Sept 25, 2014 ) and was told, " it's an infection", and best to see the doctor did the procedure. Back to square one!! After few unsuccessful attempts in trying to get my daughter in to see Dr Kim and after seeing family doctor, the infections appears worst (swelling with puffs). I called your office asked for manager. With frustrations, I explained my situations with tears and let office manager, Veronica know that I am willing to fly my daughter out to see Dr Kim in Vegas. After all that stress and run around, office manager, Veronica told me Dr Kim's's other locations in Euless, Tx for which I was NEVER told of. That very next day Dec. 22, 2014.. I took my daughter to see Dr Kim in the Euless office. DR Kim than drained the puffs out and prescribed her with antibiotic. It was such a relief to finally be able to see Dr Kim. However, much damaged was already done. As you can see, the procedure took place on AUG 10, 2014 and IT ISN'T TILL Dec 22, 2014 that she was able to see Dr. Kim. THAT'S 4 MONTHS LATER.!! This place has a very poor staff knowledge. I felt like they got my insurance to pay for my treatment once the procedure is done that what ever happens after is up to me.
