My experience with this firm continues to cause distress 7 months after the debacle. Know This! These people are poorly organized and do not leave you feeling anything but angry and cheated. Nearly 3 months prior to sale we set a date. References were called but I believe they were family or friends. I was moving out of state so could not be there to oversee the sale. Two weeks prior to the agreed upon date , I was informed the date was moved forward one week . When I showed email proof, this firm changed back, but didn't reschedule another commitment so my sale was double booked. As a result I was told they wouldn't have enough time to properly prepare. ( and they didn't property prepare, it was total chaos.) It got worse. As promised, they advertised the sale for Friday and Saturday . On Friday morning, in another state, I receive a call from my security service. This firm was not at my home, but the public was. They were walking through my house and had tripped my alarm. J&k said they were at the other sale and "made a mistake" advertising the sale on a day they did not intend to be there, and "made a mistake" leaving my door unlocked. So the poorly prepped sale went on a day after strangers walked through, but J&K "reassured" me "nothing was missing." Know this: J&K will not provide you with a list of items sold, nor how much items were sold for. they will tell you that at the end of the sale they let buyers walk because "they were trying to and dime me." And lastly they will bring in another firm to charge you hundreds of dollars to clean out what didn't sell so that firm can resell it for their own benefit. Im not sure if there was conflict of interest. In summary, my advice, find an estate sales firm that knows estates.

Adahlia and Will are professional and proficient in the services they provide. This was a "make ready for listing, showing and sale" deep cleaning of a newly vacated, remodeled 1920's era 2 story plus finished basement house in Albany, NY 12208. I felt like a "nightmare client". I had to reschedule their starting time twice because we weren't able to complete loading the moving truck as soon as planned. They were gracious and worked with me as their schedule allowed. I added projects to their list that my sister-in-law and I were unable to complete prior to starting our 1300 mile trip driving the moving truck home. Adahlia stayed in contact while we were on the road with updates on their progress (and checking on ours). I requested that everything be "shiny, sparkly and clean"; cabinets, appliances, bathrooms, floors, light fixtures, fans, doors and door jambs, and windows and sills, screens and mini blinds, etc. There are about 30 windows in the house with almost all of them large and tall. The Realtor texted me the house looked "fabulous" when he inspected the house after We Strive for Five completed their work, in the time frame they quoted. Do not overlook this company simply because they don't have many reviews yet. If they continue rendering such stellar service as they did for me today, their Yelp page will be overflowing with 5-star reviews in the near future! I contacted them 2-3 days before I needed a move-out cleaning. This being the "social distancing era", I send them video walk-through of my apartment and some pictures of particularly problematic areas. One of those areas included an oven that I never used for two years because it was already so DISGUSTING when I first moved in, and a storage area that mice had apparently been using as their personal toilet for the previous year, unbeknownst to me. Hairo did not make me feel bad about booking last minute, or for requesting Sunday service (when they are normally closed), OR for the supreme nastiness of my apartment's problem areas. He just said, "Yes, we can do this." He sent me a quote via text which gave a line-by-line breakdown of precisely everything they were going to do, and it was split into sections by room type (kitchen, bathroom, living room, etc.). Very organized and professional. Today was my move-out and their cleaning service was THE ONLY THING that was good about the day. Hairo and his team showed up on time for our appointment, and friends, you CANNOT imagine how mortified I was when they walked in and saw that I wasn't done packing yet. That had never happened to me before, and I didn't even know what to say. Hairo would have been well within his rights to cancel service for the day (because with a move-out clean, it is assumed that you will have moved everything out before the cleaning crew gets started). It would have been more than understandable if he had given me a look that said, "Come ON. This is unacceptable." But instead, he calmly surveyed the state of things, reassured me that it was going to be ok, called a fourth team member to come join them, and then instructed his team to grab boxes and start helping me pack. I could have cried, I was so grateful for the help. At no point did any of them appear frustrated or angry at the extra work. Instead, they smiled at me and reassured me whenever I apologized to them or gave them a look that said, "I know, I'm a piece of trash." They were each very respectful when packing my items and they did their best to put like-use items together in the same boxes. They worked quickly and were done helping me pack in just under an hour! My friend and I started to load up our vehicles to transport my boxes to my new apartment, and by the time we got back to pack up for round two, Hairo's team was done!! I couldn't believe it. I walked into an apartment that smelled UNBELIEVABLY clean and fresh - almost as if they had planted a grove of lemon trees somewhere behind the walls. Everything was literally gleaming and sparkling. It looked beautiful. Hairo walked me through the apartment to show me all the big tasks they completed as well as the detailed work on the problem areas. The graveyard of mouse feces was almost unrecognizable from before. They had even moved my fridge out from the wall to clean the droppings BEHIND it -- which I had not asked them to do but was so impressed by. Everything was perfect, and they managed to do it in 90 minutes or less! Hairo and his team needed to rush off to another cleaning job so I was not able to fully express my gratitude toward their professionalism, empathy for my embarrassment at not having been ready for them, and their positive, can-do attitudes the entire time they were here. I paid them via Venmo for the amount they quoted me, and then separately sent a gratuity for each of the 4 team members as a token of appreciation for their efforts. If I could have tipped them each $200, I would have. That's how much I felt they *truly* deserved for a job so supremely well done. So please, do yourself a favor and hire this company for whatever your cleaning needs may be. They are a family-run company and they are incredibly hard-working and professional. I took several of Hairo's business cards and will be handing them out to friends and colleagues whenever anyone mentions needing a cleaner! I can't wait to be able to use them again.
